DCH Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Temecula

DCH, I’m tired of your service department treating my vehicle as a punching bag. And when I show up after hours for my keys, treating me like a vagrant.
This is a cautionary message to potential service customers; unless your vehicle is a sled, don’t drive it from this dealership until you inspect it. I did. Twice.
#1 was several months ago for a flat tire replacement. The price was better than tire shops in Murrieta, but the damage done to one of my Altitude wheels and the rear cargo area more than offset any savings. The plastic at the bottom edge of the rear door was damaged likely by someone dragging the wheel in or out. And the wheel was scratched, nicely, likely by whoever installed the new tire. The 2015 Grand Cherokee Altitude wheels are high-​gloss black.
#2 was last week when I left my GC at about 1000am for the now infamous shifter recall and radio firmware update. Ray Carreon called me about 515pm to advise my vehicle was ready, but I told him I couldn’t be there before 6. He would leave the keys with sales.
Wife drops me off by the service drive where I see my GC. No point looking at it since service was for stuff I can’t see. I walk onto the showroom floor and make eye contact with a male employee in a blue collared shirt. But he looks away, walks out the front door and lights a cigarette. I start looking into the glass offices, and seeing no other employees, only two customers, I head to the service waiting room. I see a young woman sitting behind the desk, who stares at me without a word as I smile and wave. She asks, «Yes?» Fine I can play that nonchalant, no-​courtesy game too. «I need to pick up my keys — my GC is parked on the service drive.» She replies, «I don’t have any keys.» «Of course you don’t. Ray called me an hour ago and said he would leave the keys with sales, but the only person I saw walked past me with the same blank stare you have.» «Well you have to go back up there and find someone. Sorry.»
I go back to the showroom, and see blue shirt outside still puffing on his cancer stick. Just as I get to the sales manager’s office, a male in a white shirt walks by me. Now I realize I am invisible! Loudly I say, «Excuse me.» He turns and responds while holding up several documents, «I’m with customers, do you need help?» «Sure do. You’re the second person to walk past me. Service called an hour ago and said my vehicle keys are with sales.» Before he could reply, a manager I believe, in a red shirt, walks in carrying a cardboard fast food tray. White shirt tells him about my key search. Red shirt politely asks me what vehicle I need keys for, and I tell him the white GC parked on the service drive. I hand him my work order, he has me sign his copy and hands me my keys. He says «thanks» I say «goodnight.» Awesome!
Getting your vehicle back after only a few hours, is almost as exciting as the day you bought it. Sure it’s just metal, leather and rubber, but you are responsible for it. And in my case it’s paid for, so other than the license plates, I own it and am proud of that. This makes what I found the next morning so frustrating.
By time I got home from DCH and parked in the garage it was late — straight drive up the 15 to the 215, no stops. I was tired and irritated it took four people to get my keys. The next morning I needed something at Home Depot. It was too early for me to get PO’d, but that is what happened as I started to open the driver-​side door of my GC. Just below the door handle I saw two dark scratches. How did I confirm they were scratches? For about 30 seconds I desperately tried to remove the blemishes with a microfiber cloth and some dish soap. The marks looked like someone reached down through the door handle with something sharp on their fingers, maybe a ring.
I called Ray minutes later, and explained my ‘key’ experience and told him about the damage, emphasizing I am not expecting a gift, nor a repair. I need him to know I will likely not bring my GC back to DCH, as it has been damaged too many times. Basically, I have no confidence his coworkers can treat my vehicle with the same courtesy they would expect, or that they would even report any damage they caused. The attitude seems more like, «Nah — I’m just gonna hope no one sees it.» So I’m thinking, nah, I’ll drive 45 miles to Moreno Valley instead!
My GC is garaged and has less than 10k on the clock. I wash it, not a car wash attendant. Yup, I even spend $ 25 on Adam’s Super VRT Tire & Trim Dressing instead of that crappy Armor All, just because. If I go to a store, when I get back to the parking lot, I walk around my GC looking for those inevitable door dings. I even have a Mopar EVTS to alert me if some goof pushes a shopping cart against it. DCH is the only place, as I mentioned, where for some ungodly reason I don’t check for damage before leaving.
Ironically, it’s not the shopping mall parking lot, but DCH service where it gets damaged — the one place I should feel confident leaving it!

We purchased a 2014 Tundra from DCH with the help of Greg! He was very nice and professional (not pushy!) and communicated with us by phone several times before we drove up to Temecula to see the truck in person. We couldn’t make it up there until late and we brought our 3 kids but he was super accommodating. The next day we realized the tv in the truck wasn’t operating correctly so we called and they scheduled us to bring it in ASAP. Daisy in the service center totally hooked it up when the service center confirmed it was broken and it was sent to Audio Evolution down the street for an even nicer setup! Thank you Greg and Daisy, you made buying a car a great experience!

I didn’t buy my Jeep here, but I bring it here for all factory service, and my service advisor Chris Bennet has always been super friendly, helpful, good communication, and even helped me take a look under the hood to find and fix a minor oil leak issue.

Saturday I bought a 2015 charger and with the help of Francisco Chavez he gave me a deal I could not resist ! Thanks to him in the guys at DCH I now got a reliable car! #militaryfriendly

If i could give a 0 i would! We went looking yesterday for my brother and we were totally honest with what he could afford. The guy who helped us was great and had all kinds of info but he talked by brother into a truck that he didnt test drive or even look at. But he went with it. He had a apt so he had his managers take over while they were supposedly running the numbers we got to sit there for 10 minutes thinking someone was coming back and then after 10 minutes 20 minutes ago so we’re sitting there for a total of 30 minutes while 6 months pregnant. Not one person came over to talk to us so we looked at each other and agreed after waiting for 30 minutes that we were just going to leave. One older gentleman which look like a manager did walk by and we tried to ask him for help but he just continued walking I feel like we weren’t even sitting there. No one even stopped us on our way out or said anything. Worst customer service ever! My husband and I weren’t even looking for a car and ended up going to Subaru and walking out with a car that day because the customer service was so great, so if you looking for a car go to Subaru and ask for James.

Everytime I come here, wait times to get vehicle pulled around from service are atleast 25 minutes. Its ready, and all they need to do is pull it around…

The parts department shipping speed is outstanding. I placed an order for an urgently required part for a repair on a customers vehicle and would of received next day but ups made a shipping mistake. I look forward to buying oem parts for my dodge and Chrysler as well as customers vehicles in the future. The price was well under my local Chrysler price that’s why I chose to go with DCH. This review was based off a parts order and is based on the service provided by the Prts department. I have no experience with the sales or Maintanance department but if their service is comparable to the parts department then this must be a great place to buy and maintain your vehicle.

Another easy, $ 0 experience with DCH! Brought my daughter’s 2015 Dodge Dart in for a tire rotation and a «squeaking» sound when my daughter turns sharp. We were checked in with the service Dept within minutes. After 10 minutes drinking free Starbucks coffee, a technician took my daughter on a 5 minute ride to hear the problem. We left for lunch and an hour or so later I received s call that the problem had been located and repaired. I headed back over and we were out the door in 5 minutes! Free!!! Made my Saturday… especially since I am getting ready to send this car to Hawaii for my daughter’s college year. Thank you DCH! Again!!!

Liars, cheats, and thieves! I will never come back here!
When I brought my truck in for a dealer warranty claim. The damaged part caused other part to be damaged, this was caught by my mechanic. I had already ordered the part and told them about it so they could repair it while the other part was out. They chose to ignore me and not to the work so I would have to come back and be without my truck another day. I chose to have my own mechanic do the work. The parts manager is a slim ball.

I worked with Dennis 04÷25÷16, got AMAZING service. I came in with a budget and idea in mind of what I wanted. He was there every step of the way helping me decide and test drive. Couldn’t be happier. Everyone at the dealership was not only professional but made me feel at ease, buying a car is scary but at DCH Temecula it felt like I was being helped by family.

Jose Calvillo made us an extremely great deal. He was a very professional and personable sales man. We are very grateful to have worked with someone like him that helped us make a deal of a lifetime. Thank you Jose!

Where to start… This is my second time since moving to Temecula that I have come here for car work on my 2010 Sebring. First time was for general tune up, new battery… Typical 100 thousand mile tune up. I had the pleasure of being assigned to Ray C. As my service advisor, he was super pleasant and kept me in the loop as time passed until my car was done.
Today, I went back for a brake check and was assigned again to Ray, he was at lunch so someone else checked me in who wasn’t terribly friendly.
Ray called me with the concerns and offered me advice so instead of bleeding my wallet dry, he suggested I talk to the shop that did my brakes a few years ago since I already paid them, we both feel and hope they will take this opportunity to make it right.
If not, because of Rays awesome customer service I will come back here for the work.
Either way, I will now get all my car work done here ~ Thanks Ray ~ You ROCK!

I had the best salesman that was professional knowledgeable and was not pushy, I went to look at one car and ended up not liking that but Robert Traver actually showed me something he thought I would like based on what I was looking for and I test drove it and loved it!

Went back to the dealership with issues. I worked with Esteban in the service department. He was super helpful and accommodating. Jessica at the cashier was also awesome!

This is seriously the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, I brought my Chrysler 200 in to get a diagnostic test done. I took it in on Saturday they told me it would be done on Monday, Monday evening I called and they told me my car would be finished in 30 minutes. I went to pick it up, turns out a super expensive part in my car was broken. I was told this part, was not covered by my warranty plan. I wanted to do my own research and I am glad I did. The part was in fact covered by my warranty. However, the dealership is now saying they never finished my diagnostic on my car and they only think but don’t know that part is the problem. I PAID 120 $ for a car diagnostic that apparently wasn’t done!
I have been wanting to contact the main boss at this location all day, I called every single hour for 6 hours. Just to find out they are now closed and this man never called me back.
THEY TRIED RIPPING ME OFF, BY TELLING ME ITS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY.
THEN RIPPED ME OFF MAKING ME PAY FOR A DIAGNOSTIC THAT WAS NOT FINISHED.
NOW NO ONE IS ANSWERING THEIR PHONE, I HAVE TO PAY FOR ANOTHED DIAGNOSTIC BECAUSE THEY CANT FIX MY CAR UNTIL THEN.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF EVERY OPPORTUNITY THEY CAN.

Excellent service! I found the exact car that I was looking for while checking out their website, and three days later, we drove out from Ventura and got it! Robert took very good care of me. He made sure to explain everything I needed to know about the vehicle and the warranty. I will definitely come back when I purchase another vehicle. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I have purchased a truck from DCH Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Temecula before, so I returned when it was time to look for another. This time around I was looking and ended up being talked into buying a used vehicle «As Is» from this place that ended up being a huge mistake. The salesman advised me there was nothing wrong with the truck, and it has never had any repairs or modifications other than the regular oil changes. When I was signing the paper work the warranty they offered was for the turbo and it covers up to 22,000 miles. Within two months of owning the truck I had to pay $ 3,000 in repairs.
The mechanic I went to checked out the vehicle and told me there had been remanufactured parts and because they were improperly installed that is what caused the problem with my truck. Come to find out the turbo had been replaced prior to me buying the truck and that is the only reason DCH Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Temecula offered the warranty on it, which they did not disclose to me.
After I went through those issues I was driving my truck and the check temperature light came on and my engine was running hot. I pulled to the side of the road to let it cool down and see if it would begin to work again. It did not, and I had to park my truck in a lot until the morning. I went to DCH Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Temecula the following day and told them of the issues I had come across after buying from them. The sales manager told me there was nothing he could do for me and stated his salesman did not know what was wrong with the truck when selling it to me. I told him his salesman specifically stated there were no repairs made to the truck other than regular oil changes and all he could say was he wasn’t there when the salesman told me that.
The sales manger stated they have guys check the truck prior to selling it and they found nothing wrong with it. Within an hour or two my mechanic found out the heli-​coil was improperly installed causing it to crack the reservoir. He also found my turbo was replaced and other parts were remanufactured as well. Obviously the guys at the dealership didn’t look too hard before putting it out on the lot to sell.
I will never go back to this place and would not recommend it to anyone. If the salesmen did not know what was going on with the truck, he shouldn’t state that «there is nothing wrong with it and no repairs done other than regular oil changes.» Overall this is the worst service I have ever had. After speaking to the sales manager about my prior issue and the new one that had come up, he didn’t even offer to have his service employees take a look at it. I took my truck to Ford after I left and they took it right in. DCH Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Temecula only received a star because you have to give them on.

Came here for a car purchase. We had many experiences with car dealerships and staffs. Greg C. who helped us was very nice and professional. I would say one of the best few we had worked with. He doesn’t haggle you, push you or give you any pressure. He gives you the details and let you decide. I always dislike when other dealers try to compare with other companies and give you all the reasons they’re better etc. He is very personable and did i say professional? Another great thing is without having to request, he automatically have us go onto fwy to test drive their car which i love.
Love their lounge. Been to better ones but its comfortable enough and it has a corner for kids to hang out with and a few books around. Love that they have a coffee machine that dispense Starbucks coffee, yum!
Wished they had some shorter couches or chairs for us short people (short people problems). Their bathroom could be cleaner though. But its a bathroom, can care less.
Reasonable in prices and willing to work with you and meet in the middle. Hate the places where they wont budge yet then call you every day (literally) to haggle you and then drop the prices later. Why didn’t you do that when we were there as i am not willing to drive so far to negotiate again? So those guys just lost a serious customer.
Minus one star though because the parking sucks. First time to a dealership with no parking. We see signs pointing customer parking in a few areas but most spots were taken by the dealership itself. We had to go around in circles a few time to wait for someone to leave.
Overall, a bit of a far drive but worth it as its a good excuse for some wine tasting around the area as well. Won’t mind coming back for future purchases. Hope all other staff members are as great as Greg C. Thanks Greg!

I definitely have to give it up to Justin Tostado in service for all of his help…
For a little over 3 months, I had a used Jeep that was traded in at our store with what we thought was a transmission issue. Let me first also say that dealing with Chrysler is horrible!
However, Justin was very patient with me and gave me updates throughout the entire process. My GM wanted an update just about every other week and every time I called Justin, he would call me back within a day and let me know if they had heard anything back from Chrysler.
After a handful of warranty repairs that didn’t fix the issue, Justin finally narrowed it down to what he thought would be a $ 4k front and rear differential repair… but after some quick thinking, the $ 350 repair he suggested after finally did the trick and the Jeep is finally fixed and back at our dealership!
What was initially a frustrating service experience, has turned into a fairly positive one that has made Justin my go-​to guy for any service needs at this dealership!

This evening we went to look at Jeeps because I wanted/​needed a new car. We were fortunate to have Phillip show us around. He made the process fun and enjoyable. We told him what we had in mind and what we were looking for and he found us the perfect vehicle. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at DCH.
