I stand by my original review and I’ve already purchased my CX-​5 in Riverside. Honestly, at this point, you could promise me the moon and I’d still never do business there. Just a side note we bought 2 cars. Way to blow the deal.

This was the easiest and painless car buying experience I ever had. I went in there knowing information on the car I wanted to buy. Son stayed later in order to help me with my purchase. He was getting ready to go home and he decided to stay late even though there was no guarantee I was going to make a purchase. Son was very knowledgeable on the vehicle’s history and features. When my loan fell through because the company wanted me to trade in a different vehicle, Son and Jaime pinned the banks against each other in order to give me the best rate. In the end I walked out of the dealership with a lower interest rate than my previous lender offered, a 3 year 36,000 warranty, and a car payment I was happy with. Other dealers like Corona Nissan will do their best to rip you off, where as John Hine Mazda Subaru care about the customer experience. In retrospect I should have taken a picture with Jaime and Son, thank you guys for giving me such a positive experience.

I rarely give a 5 star rating but today’s experience at Hine Mazda service is warranted the recognition. This was my first visit with my new CX5 for service.
Upon check in, The work order was reviewed thoroughly and to my delight included a $ 20 discount for being a new service client. Pretty pleased so far.
The waiting area included comfortable chairs and a flat screen. Nice. Also an additional area offering water, coffee, tea and snacks. Nice again.
The technician working on my car needed to use the lug lock key for rotating the tires. He asked me if I minded coming back to my car and retrieving it from the glove box for him. This guy was super polite and escorted me back to the customer lounge after retrieving the key for him. Impressive but the best is yet to come.
At about the hour and 20 minute mark of waiting time, the service advisor came to me and apologized for the long wait. Then to my complete surprise, they comped my first service. I hadn’t said a word to anyone at that point about the time. Things like that were commonplace at other dealer service locations in Temecula so the fact that they sought me out, apologized, and offered the service as complimentary for the wait were off my radar completely. Pleasant surprise puts it mildly. I’ve done my share of complaining at other dealers in the past so it was time to acknowledge a job well done.

Service & Parts: Wonderful experience here. Knew I was overdue for a set of 4 new tires. Among a number of other upgrades.
Contrary to most dealerships, the staff, namely the service manager, genuinely cares about what’s best for your vehicle while maintaining complete customer satisfaction and comfort. He never tried to be a sleazy salesman, not once tried to take advantage of my amateur knowledge of car maintenance by claiming I needed a laundry list of services and parts.
If anything, it felt like the relationship was more between friends, as they worked with me to vying the costs to something manageable while ensuring my car runs at high quality.
A nice little perk too is if you spend X amount of $$ you get a reward like a free oil change.
Can’t say enough wonderful things.

Terrible customer service. The salesperson I spoke to was at least very knowledgable about the cars but full of attitude and know it all rudeness. Save yourself the anger and go to the next closest Mazda or Subaru. Never coming here again

Tabbita was quick to inform me of any developments on the repair process – something the other writers failed to do occasionally. She is attentive and eager to do a good job.
Renee and the dentless technician (which I’m sorry to say I forgot his name) stopped their work midstream to consult with me as to the best course of action to go forward. The end result was exactly what I had hoped for.
Overall top notch professionals that are a credit to the Hine organization.

I leased a mazda CX5 from John Hine mazda around 2 month ago. They were giving am good price in comparison with other dealership and I was convinced to buy from there. Paris sales manager was also helped me a lot .
2 month later, last week, the car in middle of highway start jumping and speed was not going higher than 40 mph, I had to toe the car to tustin mazda, and they said the car has manufacturing issue and transmission is down. It did take. I thing more than 2 month for the car to stop working .
I called them and asked them that I want to return the car since it is manufacturing issue, they did no help except telling me you have to contact with mazda usa. This is all what they could do as their responsibility they have to satisfy customers .
Also the car is mazda cx5 2016. It is a recall material ??? Or they they have given me defected car?

John Hine Mazda is getting rich, one oil change at a time. I went to have my new Mazda 6 serviced for its first oil change and I am still reeling from the cost. $ 80 for a full synthetic oil change. I asked about any insentives or discounts and none could be used on first visit. I’m not sure that I will even return unless its an absolute emergency because I can’t see paying that much for an oil change. I used to pay $ 29.95 for synthetic blend oil changes at Chevy, and even Browning Mazda only charges $ 49.95 for full synthetic oil changes. I like having my vehicles serviced at the dealership because it adds a permanent record to the carfax report and is great for resell, however I am not sure I want to throw away money like this each time I need an oil change.

Just bought a Mazda 6 from Son, the Internet manager. Had to have been the most low pressure car buying experience ever which is a wonderful thing. If you’re looking to buy a Mazda, just email them and you get a no-​hassle, excellent price. The price was much less than even True Car’s online pricing.
Son was the opposite of every car salesman I’ve ever dealt with. He never pressured me to sit down and «talk numbers». There was absolutely ZERO hard sell. He also worked to get me the exact car I wanted.
Also, the finance manager, Jenevieve, was very easy going. Usually the finance manager tries to up sell you on every plan under the sun. She was also low pressure and I was in and out of her office in record time.
Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable car buying experiences ever.

He is always a pleasure to deal with and Mazda should give him a raise. This was by far the absolute best buying experience I have ever had! I bought a Mazda 3 and it is the best car ever! The sales team I worked with was wonderful. They make sure you don’t feel pressured at all! I worked with the sales managers I think their names were Josh and Magaly… They were very thorough and patient when explaining «leasing options».
I won’t ever buy at a different dealership. They went above and beyond to find the car I wanted and where I wanted to be payment wise! When my lease is up I will be back for CX5 OR Mazda 6!
(The dealership where I previously purchased my Kia Optima did not even fill up my gas tank. And the sales guy never even gave me information on service options.)

I wanted to get a maintenance on my car so I went to their website to look at the price and then got to chat with their online chat customer service. I told her my car maker/​model/​year and gave my phone#. She told me that she will close down the chat and they will call me back for the inquiry shortly. After a week, I never got a call back from them.
Okay? Maybe something went wrong. I know everyone makes mistakes, it’s all right. Not a big deal. I chatted with their customer service again. Did the same thing. She told me that they will call me back again. It’s been a week again since then and I have never received a call back from them.
I guess they don’t want my business. I’ll just goto Valvoline or somewhere.

Absolutely exceptional service and experience! Thank you to Kristina Duvall for all your wonderful help today. After trying to work with Mazda Carlsbad I decided to go to the location I purchased my vehicle and had much better customer service. They are 100% honest in their dealings, even got a little car wash in the mix. Thank you I’m definitely coming back and referring! The purchase of my vehicle 4 months ago also went very well and I am very pleased with my new «bean» (Mazda 2 Sport).
