I have to say how impressed I was with the car buying experience I had today. I came here with my Mom to look at the Impreza’s for her and she ended up really liking the Impreza hatchback. Billy was awesome and super informative on the Subaru brand and we never felt like he was super pushy or anything like that. The whole process was super quick and easy and probably the most positive experience of buying a car I’ve ever had.
My mom absolutely LOVES her car and the Subaru brand in general is definitely one of the best you can get as far as reliability and resale value.
Might be coming back with my Hubs in the future and take a look at their Outbacks!

Salesman Eric was awesome! Great communication and willingness to come come in on his off time to help me complete the purchase. We hashed out most of the details over the phone and text so the actual purchase was quick and easy. They are willing to work with you to make you happy and get the sale over a competitor.

Love this place! I just purchased my first Subaru Forester from Billy Hornaday over at John Hine Subaru and it was amazing! I have NEVER had such a positive experience with car buying as this was. From the first time I went to the dealership for a test drive to the purchase of the car, Billy was professional, caring and helpful. The Staff at John Hine Subaru was great, even if they weren’t the ones selling me the car! The facility is clean and organized and very comfy. My 2 year old loves this place :)

My wife and I bought our 2015 Crosstrek from Mike in the past couple months. He was great to work with! For weeks he answered my emails with no pressure to come to the lot ever. He was a great communicator and sold us what fit our lifestyle. The finance department worked with us and even dropped out APR to make a great deal out the door.
I live in Escondido and am closer to the Carlsbad location. Having spoke only once with a gal from there she pressured me to come down to the lot and speak. I’m so happy we went to Temecula and would highly recommend dealing with these folks.

Horrible experience… started with a visit to look a Subaru after always owning Honda or Toyota… went in to test drive and was treated like I was a bother. I ended having to drive to LA to save $ 2,500.00. Sales guy at John Hine never even attempted to search for a vehicle in inventory to see if he could find the car I wanted.
Once I purchased elsewhere I had to get a series of service items addressed, like a new dashboard, scratched console from service guys, trim defects, poor electrical reconnect for dash replacement, concerns about oil consumption etc. over the course of 9 months. It seems as if it took forever to try and get it fixed right. I still have never had it completely resolved.
I began to feel as if I was getting the run around over and over again by Phil Bravo. It reach a point when I asked why this had to be so difficult to get simple warranty items fixed? Never could get a straight answer… test drive after test drive to verify my concerns. months and months went by.
I eventually called Subaru of America and filed a complaint with them. Got a call back from them assuring me they would look into it. The final straw was once I had asked over and over to get my alignment fixed it was taken care of after the 4^th time in. I asked to speak to the manager because I was so tired of this. Phil Bravo in service mumbled profanity to me as he walked away to get the manager. Once the manager returned it was not even the manager it was the part/​service director Eric Kelley. He acted as if I was the problem after I explained to him my difficulty with the service advisor Phil Bravo. He said he would look into it and call me in a few days.
Eric Kelley never called me back within the few days as he stated he would, I had to call back to follow up myself… Asked to speak with Eric and was patched through to him. He told me he had looked into it at that they were no longer going to service my vehicle at Hine and that I should get my car taken care of at another dealership. End of story.
Wow what a great way to handle a customer service problem… if you don’t like what you hear just tell the customer to go away. and tell them that their employee has never had a complaint therefore you are lying about what you have been dealing with for months. I would have really appreciated a call from the real general manager of the dealership to address my concern and at least give me the impression that they valued me as a customer.
Silver lining of this story is that Subaru of America called me back after their review and offered me a 7 year, 100,000 mile comprehensive Gold Plan Warranty free of charge with 0 deductible for all the difficulty I have had to endure. They wanted to stand behind their product and support me as a customer. Thank you Subaru of America for listening to me as I shared my concerns… and furthermore addressing them.

Our daughter is SO HAPPY with her 2014 Crosstrek! The buying experience was the BEST. Ask for «James» and buy from this Temecula location. Out of the 4 Subaru dealerships we visited in the San Diego area, only James listened and heard us the first time around: we needed his BEST price for this particular used Subaru. The other dealerships whined about their price already being «fair» on the same model. But James came through when we asked him! :) It was great to know James WANTED our business! There was no pressure along the way. James was friendly and patient. The whole staff there were very friendly… we even observed and overheard the Manager (we forget his name) give an employee a compliment on their work! GREAT people and GREAT experience overall! I’m happy to say I received a great deal on a new car with a low interest rate, the best in the area!!! Billy H. Was the salesman that helped me get into this car. He was very insightful and knowledgable about every car on the lot. He actually cared about my situation and took great care of me. The whole crew there is awesome. My fiancé and I bought our first car (2016 Forester) together here and James Wine truly made it a great experience! We went on a super busy weekend and had shopped the full day before we stopped in here (but had been talking on the phone) and man do they work hard here. James was making calls and doing whatever it took to get us our specific car since he did not have it in stock. He was super helpful and patient and answered all of our questions (I had a ton lol). They were able to match the price of another dealer but actually get us the exact color combo we wanted. We are super happy with the car! Thanks James and John Hine Subaru!!!

My mom went to John Hine Subaru of Temecula to inquire specifically about the Subaru Legacy. Mike said they didn’t have a six cylinder like she wants, she should just love the 4. Mom knows what she wants so she came home. I spent two hours checking the Internet and reading everything then told Mom what she wanted was a 3.6.
Mom called Mike and told him. He said they didn’t have one but he’d check the inventory…but he never called back. Eventually Mom called back to ask if the Legacy 3.6 had a specific option and was referred to Erika who answered the question. When Mom started to ask something else, Erika told her to look up the answers on their website.
Mom is 86 years old and doesn’t do Internet.
I spent another two hours searching online and found 2 of the cars in the San Diego area and 3 in LA. We are planning to go to Puente Hills Subaru on Monday for a test drive. Many years ago, i bought a new Miata from John Hine and had a great experience.. .what a disappointment this time!

Was actually here today for our cars 2 nd service and I did not have an appointment and they were wonderful getting me fit in and had enough time to eat my breakfast! Thank you Subaru Service!!! Happy lady!!!

I am a man of my word. I am actually from northern California. On Wednesday I made an inquiry about the White STi limited at your dealership that my local dealership tried to make a trade but your dealer didn’t let go. I understand why that is so. I scheduled to meet Erika Archila on Friday. She did not know i was coming from NorCal and only that I was from far away. On Thursday, Erika’s assistant had contacted me to put a deposit on the car so that my meeting on Friday would be OK. My dealer in San Jose also told me a client canceled his order for a white limited in the same configuration as the one in Temecula and would offer to sell it at a lower price than the Temecula Subaru Friday evening and arrive April 1.
I kept my word and drove 7 hours to meet Erika Friday morning to check out the car. The car was everything I hoped it would be. I knew what I wanted, and Erika made it easy for me at the dealership.
