Temecula Hyundai

I always bring my car to this dealership to get serviced. It’s a bit of a drive for me because I live in Irvine but I normally plan my car’s service/​maintenance around the trips to my mom’s house in the Temecula area. They always meet their deadlines with their service and do a great job communicating when the car is ready and any other follow-​up items needed.
On my last visit in particular, I was impressed with the service that Carlos provided me. We found out that my radiator was leaking and that they’d need my car for longer than expected. Since I had to go back to work during the week in the Irvine area, he was nice enough to get me a courtesy car for the entire week! I didn’t skip a beat with my routine that week and was able to return the car that Friday after work.

First of all, I want to be clear that our sales consultant, Rich Gomez, did an amazing job! He was very professional and knowledgeable.
Secondly, it is important to mention that we purchased a new Hyundai Sonata Hybrid just 3 weeks prior to this current incident.
This 2 star review is for the experience we had with Alex, the Desk Sales Mgr. on this second car purchasing trip.
Our salesman, Rich called me to let me know they received the Genesis Coupe that I was interested in. He told me that dealership was going to be changing ownership, therefore dealership is very motivated to sell cars prior to change.
We went into dealership, looked at the car, and decide to go ahead with the purchase. We came to terms with trade-​in, they presented their deal. I was not willing to accept that deal; I told them what I was willing to accept. Rich goes back to Alex to present my terms (I did not want to pay the $ 1,999 for their «add-​on»).
Well Alex decides to use CREATIVE fraudulent number changing technique. He deletes the $ 1,999 «Add-​on» line item, but then he reduced the Hyundai Corporation Incentives by $ 1,999. He thought that no one would notice his fraudulent action. I asked to see both quote estimates side-​by-​side, and saw his changes.
We walked away from deal because this type of blatant Fraud was too much for me to accept. Had Alex merely said he could not give us the price we sought, we would have respected that decision.
What right, does a local desk manager, have to change the incentive amount that the Hyundai Corporation sets?
Our salesman, Rich, spoke to the General Manager about the issue the next morning. I was extremely disappointed that the General Manager did not call to discuss the situation with me, especially since we had just bought a brand new car just 3 weeks earlier from the dealership.
There is no longer a need for this type of fraudulent behavior in dealerships. There are too many other dealerships that are willing to work a deal without the blatant Fraud.
We ended up buying the car I wanted from a dealership in San Diego two days later.
We will NOT ever go back to Temecula Hyundai to purchase a car! I will be calling the Hyundai Corporation to report the incentives fraud!

Every time we have been into service they have been right on point and feel like family. We have over 100,000 on a 2012 so we drive the crap out of this car and they are attentive to what we request and not pushy. I LIKE THAT.

First time buying a new car and they made it more simple than anything I have experienced. Thank you and a HUGE shout out to Becky for helping us get everything taken care of when out of town and needed a car by the time we got back and we received just that!!!

Sketchy behavior by service department. They deceived my wife and lied to me in order to do a brake job and bill a ludicrous amount. Like my car dislike Temecula Hyundai service… and their sales are even worse… comical in fact. Twice they have quoted «bottom line «prices that I have beaten by 3k at Glendora Hyundai. Dishonest manipulative across the board at our ‘stellar’ local Hyundai dealer

I give Temecula Hyundai two thumbs up and 5 stars. The whole car buying experience was relaxing. they worked on every issue to make the deal to buy a new car work. They have stood by every promise and do it with a smile and a thank you at the end.
Sometimes it’s the little unimportant things that make the whole deal because it shows they do care. I have seen it first hand.

Always a great experience when i have to head into the Service department. In fact, so good that i bring my wife’s car in, and its not even a Hyundai ! Sure having a car in the shop or worked on is stressful and hectic but with Collin and the team at Hyundai i never have to worry about a thing. I appreciate the Hyundai service team for always going that extra mile.

I needed new tires for my hyundai so i had the service department give me a quote for a set of 4 tires. I called this morning to ask some questions about the products they quoted and what it included because my quote did not have detailed information in regards to what i was buying. I called 6 times, was sent to voicemail 2, left on hold 4 times and when a woman finally returned my calls she kept repeating more vague or innaccurate information. Why they bother having someone who doesnt know their job contact a customer with specific questions is beyond me.
Suffice it to say i am going elsewhere to buy my tires. I dont think it should be difficult to get clear accurate information or take 6 calls to get a hold of an an intelligent person.
OH and i asked the service manager to call me after 6 calls and never heard back from them either…
I can spend my money anywhere and it wont be here.

One star for the service department with the exception of Sandra who has always taken the time to be courteous, sit down and explain things. I have a car that has been in quite a few times (in comparison to my other cars) and it seems like the problem is never fixed. I won’t go into too many specifics but it has to do with the AC. Living in Temecula, I’m sure you are all aware it gets pretty hot here. Unfortunately, every time I take my Tucson in to have the AC serviced, which I believe is three times now, it works great for a week and then just blows hot air when it idles, the only time I get a nice steady stream of cold air is when I’m on the freeway, which is great except I’m pretty much ONLY a city driver. I had my vehicle serviced in ⁹⁄₂₀₁₅ or ¹⁰⁄₂₀₁₅ (and I believe twice in years before that) for AC, and after a week… Surprise surprise it stopped working because it needs an expansion valve. I let it go for then since it was getting to be fall but now it’s getting hot and I know it’s a lot to ask but I WOULD liKE to be able to not sweat all over the place when I’m driving. So I called to make an appointment and unfortunately for me, Collin is my advisor so I was put on the phone with him. Trust me when I say I am being polite when I describe him as haughty and rude. I have bumped heads with him before and just the tone of his «better than thou» voice today put me on edge. He wanted to know when I can bring the car in and I asked about Saturday appointments, which they can’t give me this Saturday, and tomorrow I would have to leave my car there for 3 – 4 hours, the problem is, 3 – 4 hours usually turns into 8 or 9. I was so disgusted with having to deal with him I hung up. I have absolutely no problem with dropping my car off but I feel it should be returned in a reasonable amount of time and also… Collin, if you are in customer service maybe you should humble yourself a little because going through the reviews here I have seen a few bad reviews with YOUR name attached. That should tell you something about your less-​than-​desirable mannerism.
As mentioned, Sandra is great and I appreciate her.

Had a wonderful experience at Temecula Hyundai. Jose was responsive, understanding and he didn’t try to hide anything. It was a simple purchase. We went in for a base model and came out with one with some options. Great pricing and straight to the point deal, no playing around here. They even located the car we wanted with color and options since they didn’t have it in their inventory. Lot is pretty small compared to other dealership so makes sense that inventory isn’t very high but they made it easy. Pedro in finance was fast and full of energy, great personality and simple to understand. Highly recommended!

I knew it was a good start in the a.m., when I was immediately greeted by the service tech, without even looking up my name, he was ready to go and knew why I was there~ He also explained there was an A/​C part re-​call and if the part was there it would be repaired while waiting for my first complimentary oil change on my 2017 Elantra (leased) while I was pulling out my «coupon books», he kindly explained and even detached the coupon for me explaining the difference and what needed to be done, (i thought the tires should be rotated with each oil change but he kindly explained that every other change was good for the rotation and I could use the coupon for complimentary service) THANK YOU Carlos!!! You were very kind, courteous and made me feel valued not like I was an inconvenience. Each time I have been to Temecula Hyundai I have been treated very kind, with patience and respect as a valued customer, which makes a huge difference in dealing with vehicle issues. Your waiting area is very clean, very comfortable and the complimentary coffee and water is a huge plus! so, it makes waiting a lot more comfortable and the time goes by quickly.
(we started out with Gosch Hyundai in Hemet and would NEVER recommend them to anyone, their service was phony, no integrity and their neglect in returning phone calls is pathetic. I had left 5 messages in 3 days for DMV services and finally had to become insistent for a phone call to be returned, with very flimsy excuses for not returning my calls («no one wanted to handle it». she said~ really!) I am soo glad I traded in a 2016 Sonata i felt pressured into leasing from them and Temecula graciously received it and we did a trade-​in for the 2017 Elantra. Yes, I would highly recommend Temecula Hyundai for anyone! (this is my 4^th Hyundai~ i purchased a new one in 03 (Elantra) and the difference in 13 years is phenomenal !!!) Thank you once again Temecula Hyundai for outstanding service all around!

I came to this dealership because of good reviews and it was the closest one to my house. I went in to check out and buy the Veloster on the 24^th.
Salesmen
The salesman (i forgot his name) didn’t seem to be taking me very seriously most of the time I dealt with him (maybe because I am young) and he seemed to have an attitude when I didn’t like the offer he was giving me.
Finance Guy
This guy was pretty awesome! I forgot his name as well but he deserves recognition for his performance and hard work and if I could give him 5 stars I would. He made signing all the paperwork and buying any additional stuff like gap insurance and and maintenance plans a breeze. He had high energy, was very sociable and very fast. He made time go by quick which is good considering how long this part of the process is.
Car Cleaning People
Who ever was suppose to clean my car literally sprayed some water on it and didn’t even dry it off. The outside of the windows were covered in hard water stains. They didn’t even touch the inside of the car, when it really needed to be cleaned. The inside had scuff marks and dust on the plastics, the windows had a lot of adhesive residue on them, and the floor mats were dirty. Took me about 3 hours to get the car as clean as it should have been when they sold it to me.
Overall, this was my first time at this dealership and I wasn’t impressed much except by the finance guy and the car. I really liked the car, so I ended up buying the car from this dealership anyway.
**UPDATE**
Went in yesterday the 9^th due to defects in the windshield. I dealt with Matt the service advisor who was a very nice guy. Towards the end, I ended up dealing with Dave the General Manager, also very nice guy. He is currently working with me to make sure the windshield gets replaced.

Getting the oil changed, first time here at the Temecula Hyundai dealership and it is a breath of fresh air compared to Gosch Hyundai in Hemet.
If I had to do it over again I would go to Temecula Hyundai!
I would highly recommend Temecula Hyundai, Amanda Hause for Sales & Gabe in the Service Department. I would highly recommend Temecula Hyundai for Sales & Service!
I bought my car Gosch Hyundai in Hemet all I have to say is buyer BEWARE in Hemet.
In my opinion all Gosch dealerships are liars and cheats. I will never go back!

My mom just bought a Hyundai Tucson from here. And they were great! The salesman who helped us (I think his name is Joseph or Jason Lang) was very informative and was not pushy at all. He showed us a lot of options and truly listened to what we wanted in a car. He gave us time to look through the cars and make our decision. Woody was great and straight up with us, which I truly respect. He was a very patient guy. He showed us the numbers and got us a price within our range. The guy who does the financial part (I forgot his name), however, missed some paperwork which required my mom’s signature. But they threw in a maintenance program for free because it was a hassle to drive back to the dealership for some missed signatures. But with that aside, I would highly recommend this place. Great cars, great prices, great people.

My free yummy coffee wasn’t even cool enough to drink yet & my oil change was done! Wow, fastest oil change ever. The 3 staff members I encountered today were very friendly & helpful. I arrived ~10−15 minutes late but they took care of me right away.
I used to go to Hardin Hyundai in Anaheim (where I bought my Elantra), but Temecula is now my spot. Faster service (hmm, perhaps because I no longer go on Saturday’s?), better deals (I saved ~$ 60 on my 30K service compared to Hardin’s special at the time), and I feel like my concerns are addressed attentively (1 staff member outlined my next few services when I asked). I love that they have a TV in the waiting room that shows them working on the cars, so you’re not wondering WTF they’re doing while you sit around. I’ve wasted a good few hours at Hardin a few times just for an oil change. Never again!
4 stars for now until they figure out my tire pressure situation. I’ve had a consistent issue w/​my tire pressure light coming/​going (mainly on freeway inclines) for the last 1.5 yr or so. It improved slightly after they did my 30K. They adjusted my tires today but the light blinked and remained halfway home. I’m gonna chill on it for now, keep an eye on it, but I’m confident they’ll take care of it next time. 4 stars.

I love this place! Just bought a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe from Paul (salesman) and Dave (general manager). Got a great price and excellent service. Paul has been working very patiently with me for 3 years to get just the right replacement vehicle for my 2002 Santa Fe. The finance department lady did a great job, too; sorry but I don’t remember her name.
The service department is also wonderful. They have always worked with me to determine which repairs to do (critical) and which can wait. They get the work done on time and the cost is always reasonable. What’s really amazing is that they stay open till 9 pm now!!!

I did love this dealership at first until I had my car for about a week.
After having my car for a week thinking I was totally approved… NOPE! I wasn’t at all! I get a call and then receive a frantic voicemail from the finance service department saying «I never got approved for the loan through them» WHY WOULD YOU TELL SOMEONE THEY WERE APPROVED BUT THEY NEVER REALLY WERE! Now I’m having to take time out of my day to go get my car that I thought was not even mine anymore. BECAUSE of the lies they told me. Ha… All because I’m sure they just wanted a sell. This dealership is bullshit! I can only imagine how many people they have done this to. It’s sad.

DONT BUY HYUNDAI ESPECIALLY FROM TEMECULA! !!!
We have a 2011 sonata loved the car at about 68k miles the engine seized we were treated poorly by the Temecula hyundai they refused to replace the engine and said it was our lack of oils changes for the car which was not the case we take care of our vehicles and dont get our oil changed there it a not convient and more expensive.
«Sandra» the service manager was very rude to us they had our car for wk wouldnt give us a rental because they said it was not their responsibility.
They treat us as criminals like we did something to it. We then took it to someone we trusted and had him replace the engine all this out of our own pocket. Now they are recalling for that issue and the same symptoms we had are the one described in the recall we are fighting for our money back but will take a while
