AZ Tip & Toes Nails

Happened to discover this salon close to my work and so glad I tried it! Walking in, it is a very pretty, nice, and clean salon. I was at first cautious since it is so hard to find a quality salon but I love how my nails came out by Ty. I got a gel fill. I was also very impressed with the wide selection of gel colors that they have. Many of the salons I have been to don’t have much of a gel selection. Ty was quick and delivered a beautiful set! I will definitely be back!

It’s cheap! But my nails really reflect the price. They look pretty bad. The color is uneven and there is polish on my skin. The dude was watching tv while doing my full set… He looked up at the tv a concerning amount! He also kept texting. Just acted like he really didn’t want to be there. I didn’t give this 1 star because my toes look good! It was a different lady doing my toes. Maybe I just caught him on a bad day? Who knows. Well, I’m not coming back here!

I’m in town for work and this place just happened to be the closest and had great Unilocal reviews. I am so glad I went! They really pay attention to detail. I went for Mani and Pedi, I was extremely pleased with both! Will definitely return.

Tai was amazing! He did such a good job on my nails! Just moved to Tempe from Chandler and I found my new nail spot!

Really close by ASU, and my house. Great friendly staff, we talked the whole time! She spent 45 minutes perfecting the nails and polish which was great.
The gel selection was huge, place was really clean, overall good experience!

Loved the staff, loved the services! They were open and excited to try a funky design, no matter how to. e consuming. Highly recommend, and no need to call ahead.

I went in yesterday and I was taken care of by Anna. I got my pedicure done by Anna, it was great! She was very friendly and I found out it was her first day at work! She was very sweet and did a very good job. I was very happy with the work she did on my pedcure.
Will come back and will definitely request her!

Best mani/​pedi spot in Tempe.

I love this place. Everyone is so nice but the wait can be long. Best to just make an appointment. I’m so happy that they were able to get me in on this Saturday morning. Tina was very nice and realized I was in a time crunch and still did an amazing job. So if you are in a time crunch be sure to tell them before hand so that they know how long they have you. I highly recommend them.

This place does a great job. Open late, friendly and efficient staff, CLEAN facility. They have never asked me to come in at a different time and my nails always last 3 – 4 weeks before I go back in for a fill or re-​do. The prices are a bit higher than your other nail salons but it’s because this place is much cleaner, nicer ambiance and better quality. You truly do get what you pay for.

This place is consistently good. Price is good, service is quality and the technicians are always sweet. I’ve had both pedicures and gel manicures here and my gel always lasts– I do hair so my hands are in water constantly. I just left this morning and the guy got me in immediately and had me done and out in 30 minutes– wonderful since I have to go to work. The salon is clean and cute– simple décor and not annoyingly gaudy. I live in Chandler now but usually drive down here for my gel because I’ve always had good experiences. Thanks!!! Love my nails

I am loyal to this nail salon (as well as occasionally it’s sister salon on Scottsdale & Hancock — same owners) for many reasons. It is always clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the work is consistent in its quality. I have never had a bad experience here with any of the manicurists or pedicurists, and have had great eyebrow waxes here as well. It is sometimes busy, but I’ve never waited more than 15 minutes, and if I have an appointment, they are ready for you the minute you walk in the door. Plus, for a gel manicure enthusiast such as myself, their outstanding selection of colors is very pleasing — definitely the biggest selection of gel colors out of any salon I’ve been to in the valley. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment at this nail salon!

Now, I don’t care if my pedicurist isn’t super friendly and smiley; I come to places like these for foot care, not for customer service. That being said, the pedicure itself was pretty terrible.
The pedicure was rushed. She scrubbed my feet for all of a minute, the callus scrub was next to non-​existent, and then she did two coats of nail polish AND MISSED a few spots on my nails. Then, when she was done, she just left! I was waiting there for 10 minutes before I asked another pedicurist for a pair of those disposable flip flops so I could get out of the chair. I could understand if they were busy and if they were offering extremely cheap nail services, but that brings me to my next point: they were overpriced! $ 20+ dollars on a basic pedicure, and I expect a good basic pedicure!
Maybe they treat clients who buy the mani/​pedi combo or the deluxe pedi better, but if they expect my typical 30−50% tip for nail salon services, they have to earn it! I almost didn’t tip AT ALL, but ended up leaving them with a 10% tip, even though they didn’t deserve any tip at all. There have GOT to be better nail salons in the area; go to any other one but this one.

I like this no frills nail spot in Tempe. They do a good job, they’re fast, and can accommodate my weird nail art requests… like the time I asked for a pineapple on my thumbs. Get there early– I like to go before work sometimes right when they open but if you are there even a few minutes past 9:30, there’s usually a wait. It’s a convenient spot if you live in Tempe. Another perk is that it shares a parking lot with Essence Bakery– the perfect spot for a post-​mani treat.

I’ve been a fan of AZ Tips & Toes Scottsdale location for a while but was so excited to find this other location! It’s a lot less busy and all of the nail technicians are extremely nice. I’m always impressed with the quality of their work and never leave this salon disappointed! I’ve been a loyal customer for all 4 years of my college experience :)!
