If you are from out of town don’t know where to go to shop for an affordable mattress this is the place to go.
Pam is the women to speak to she is amazing.

Pam was very helpful with my mattress dilemma! Got our new one here a few months ago and were really upset when it was delivered and felt nothing like the sample in the store! Gave it chance but it was just too hard. So I went back to see Pam and we discovered that somehow we got a lemon! She was quick to help and get the manufacturer to swap it out, no questions asked. The new one came is exactly as we expected the first time. It’s refreshing to receive good customer service. Thank you Pam!

Went in to get information on mattresses and the lady behind the desk didn’t want to show me anything or talk about the mattresses until I brought my wife back with me. Sorry, but this reminded me of a used car lot. I decided not to go back…

Pam is there at your service. She’s honest and open and very knowledgable. Owner/​operator who is invested in your satisfaction and not just punching a clock. Got a great deal and she even rope tied the mattress to my wife’s car.
I’m writing this review for my wife because she mentioned that so many of those ‘big guy’ ‘S’ mattress stores have slick salesmen that are imposing and condescending. She felt instantly comfortable with Pam who never solicited our review! Honest review for a honest store!

Whatever you do, try out Conejo Valley Mattress before buying from their competitors esp. Snoozzz Mattress. The sales staff at Snoozzz, especially Kandi who was more concerned with her personal phone calls them servicing me, will say anything negative about their competition to try to sell you a more expensive mattress. I am so happy I spent less than ½ what I would have had I gone to Snoozzz.

The only thing I dislike more than buying a new car is buying a new mattress. But I have to say that Pam made the experience of picking out and purchasing a new mattress a breeze! First of all she listens to what your issues are. She is very knowledgeable about the different types of mattresses therefore she is able to help you choose one that suits your individual needs. Thank you so much Pam. My sleepless nights are now sleep filled nights! :)

Shopped around and found out they had the best prices. Pam who is the consultant is sweet and really went out of her to help me out. Gave me a great deal and the delivery guy was awsome ! He had it to my house the next day and took away my old matteres for free. This is the spot !

Pam was amazing, she helped me with a full size mattress and helped me with a box spring and delivery :) They have a huge selection and are the nicest people, thanks again Pam :) Delivery guys were on time also :)

well, you get what you pay for I suppose… Mattress frame that came with the bed was so noisy we had to get rid of it, bed has been on the floor for months. The mattress itself started sagging and making lots of noise within a few months… We still use it but had to get a thick foam mattress pad, just to make it comfortable… Still not great, but works for now… Service was great, but quality of product was lacking… Last mattress I had lasted 12 years before sagging, this one was less than 6 months…

This was the best mattress buying experience we have ever had. We went in to purchase a king mattress. Everything was quick and seamless. We quickly found a mattress we loved. We were impressed by their knowledge of look and feel for our bedroom set and which base set would be best. We were so impressed that we went back the next day to purchase a queen bed for our guest bedroom! The delivery was timely and quick. They use a moving service and they were polite, professional, and quick. We could not be more impressed and pleased with our experience!

Pam was wonderful. I recently moved to the Conejo Valley and wanted/​needed to have a new bed upon arrival. Being the princess and the pea type, and coming from out of town, I imagined it would take a while to figure out what I wanted. It was easy though. In talking over the phone and emailing with Pam about my needs and concerns, I was able to make a decision and get the bed ordered a week or so in advance. Actually, I ended up placing the order with Barbara, since Pam was off that day. I sent a note to Pam letting her know, and she followed up to insure everything was on track. Very reassuring! If all that wasn’t enough, on move day, a Saturday, I was running later than anticipated, and the young man in charge of delivery stayed in touch with me to coordinate the timing. He was as professional, friendly, and supportive as Pam, and delivered my new bed in time for a much needed good night of sleep the day I arrived. I’ve been sleeping well on the bed for a month now! What a pleasure to find good people, good service, good quality, and good prices, all in one place!

My husband and I recently visited Conejo Valley Mattress as we were in need of a new bed. When we went in, there was only one person there and after a minute or two she had acknowledged us. We took a look around and worked with her (I wish I could remember her name) to pick out a mattress and then a bed set. She was very kind and had good intentions, although on occasion she kept trying to direct us to styles we stated we weren’t interested in.
After about half an hour there, we got everything picked out and on order for the bed. We were told it would take about a week, but it may come in earlier and they would arrange to have it delivered then. The day before we were scheduled for delivery, I called to see if it had by any chance come in earlier. The person who I spoke to on the phone was not the same woman that helped us and was a bit short with me and almost sounded irritated that I was calling. When I told her I was checking to see if our order was on track or possibly coming in early, she told me they didn’t do deliveries outside of the weekend and it would come on whatever day I was told and then promptly hung up.
The next day I got in touch with the original woman that helped us and she worked with the delivery guys (they use a college moving company) to have everything delivered and set up. It was discussed previously that they would dispose of our existing mattress for us, but the movers had no idea they were supposed to take anything. These guys use their own trucks, so they don’t have a lot of room to work with. The guys who delivered our stuff were just a college kid and an older gentlemen in a small pickup. They thankfully made it work and were very nice about everything. They were in an out quickly and I was pleased with the set up.
Overall we were happy with the purchase. The mattress is very comfortable, but I was a disappointed with the quality of the bed set we got. She kept mentioning how wonderful and well built the wood set ups were. The headboard and footboard appear to be made of some type of plastic and not wood. You can’t put any sort of pressure on it. When I leaned over the edge to make the bed up, there was concern that I might break something. I guess we’ll just have to be conscious of that. The setup does look nice though, even if it is a bit «cheaper» than we were led to believe.
If you are in need of a new mattress/​bed set and don’t want to spend an outrageous fortune, I would suggest checking them out. The prices weren’t terrible and so far everything seems to be pretty decent.

I’m buying my second mattress from Pam, the store owner. I was very impressed with both Barbara and Pam’s customer service skills, professionalism, and fantastic friendly character. I was greeted and treated like one of the family from the first time I went in. I was able to go over each of the beds, and finalize my selection. I got my bed in August 2012 and it was very comfortable.
I came back to purchase my second mattress and sure enough it was the same great service as before. I feel like I’m interacting with a loved family member who cares about my well being and my comfort. I selected a mattress for me and I’ll have it delivered soon.
I’d continue purchasing from this person because the customer service is excellent, the friendliness is unmatched, both Pam and Barbara are honest, they put your needs and concerns first, and I’m not only supporting a small business but also a woman owned business. I make every effort to support small minority and/​or women owned businesses in my community. I’m fortunate to have found a flawless gem!

I was in desperate need of a mattress but due to my size it is very difficult to find something accommodating. I was able to call, get exactly what I needed and get my new bed the same day. The manager was very nice and courteous which only made things better. The price was also very good for the whole set.

We were looking to buy a mattress for our RV. I just happened to stop in Conejo Valley Mattress and worked with Pam. One of the requirements was that it had to be less than10″ tall to fit the RV. Second one was that my wife has a bad back and It had to feel as close to our home mattress as possible.
We found a taller pillow top we liked and Pam said No Problem, I can have it made up for you in a Week to fit the RV. Wow. Never heard of that. We decided to go for it. They delivered as promised. We went on our first trip an the mattress ended up being firmer than we had hoped. We understood that since it was a custom piece that it would naturally be a bit different than the one we tried in the store and new mattress had to break in a bit. After coming back from a 10 day trip it was not working out for my wife so I asked Pam what we could do. Pam checked it out and said they could have it reworked fo us. I gave it back to them on a Saturday and she had it back to us on the following Wednesday. 4 days. Amazing. Mattress is now exactly the feel and size we needed!
What’s even more amazing is that after trying to buy our origional home mattress and going through two sets at Macy’s we ended up having to spend over $ 3000 on that mattress. We got the one for our RV for under $ 900. And it’s just as good.
I see no need to ever go anywhere else and I am already telling everyone I know that is even thinking about a mattress purchase about CVM.

The customer service at Conejo Valley Mattress is outstanding! The lady was so knowledgeable and personable with me when I had questions. To the reviewer below me, when I went into the store, it was a busy day so I can see how he might miss someone walking in… I noticed her going out of her way to help everyone though. She really listened to me to ensure that I would be completely happy with my purchase. Her delivery team was very friendly and flexible with my schedule, and when they arrived they help me set up my new bed free of charge. I was so happy to get both a comfy, quality mattress and wonderful service for such a great price. I will definitely be buying again and recommending this cute store to my friends and family!

Went mattress shopping with my wife this weekend and thought we would give Conejo Mattress a shot. We tried calling the store 3 times and no one ever answered the phone. We figured they were just busy and drove over anyway. Upon entering the store, we noticed the salesperson was busy helping a customer. We had to push a mattress out of the aisle to get a closer look at the inventory. Not once did the salesperson even acknowledge our presence, with a smile or simple hello. After 5 minutes of being completely ignored, we headed for the door :(

The customer service is excellent! I ordered over the phone and she was patient with me while I asked a bunch of questions (I needed 3 mattresses). I ordered the «Luxery Pillowtop I» mattress for myself and am so happy I did! Feels amazing to sleep on. They delivered to my apartment in Simi Valley, and put everything together. I will for sure recommend to any friends who ever ask where to get a good quality mattress for a good price!
