Just had another awesome haircut by Mike Stout.
Always neat and clean and the best part is that my hair always looks great even a few weeks after the cut. It grows in perfect. I’ve had other barbers cut my hair and it always seems to flip out as it grows back but not when Mike cuts it. There’s magic in those hands !!!

Been Sitting with CONNOR O’BRIEN for 3 months. After his technique I will not trust another man to cut my hair.
Every time I am in Connor’s chair he gives me an above and beyond experience. Love the cuts, love the hot towel service and shampoo.
Strong Selection of «Indie» hair products.
Low Key shop that is not all about flash. Straight to the point.

Mike Stout at this place gives a kickass haircut. I got a cut based on a picture from another dude in Hermosa, and he was pretty far off the mark. Mike fixed it right up for me. You can tell he’s a great barber because he did the cut, then wet it and dried it and reworked it, it wasn’t just a quick and blind cut. Friendly guy, great cut, and well-​worth the extra $ 10 over the usual (haircut was $ 35). I’ll be back for sure as my alternate barber!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Neil for about four years now and it’s always the same personal experience. I sit down in the chair, he grabs me a cold beer, I tell him that I want the usual, and he starts cutting away as we just talk about work, life, family, and just general nonsense. I refuse to go to any other barber at this point and Neil always is willing and able to get me in on short notice if need be. I highly recommend not only Neil but every barber at Double Edge as it is absolutely going to be the best barbershop in the Conejo Valley. Neil cares about each and every guest that walks through his doors and makes a lasting impression that you will never want to stray away from.

Neil was my old barber and I lost touch with him for a while when he went off to open his new shop. Found out where he was and decided to head in for a cut. I know for a fact Neil can cut my hair perfect every time so I decided to try out one of his team members, Gabriel. Gabriel surprised me, I gave him pretty minimal instructions and the man cut it perfectly! I wanna say it was just as good as Neil’s cut but I mean you can’t get better than the head honcho!
The service was also great they greet you and ask if you would like a drink. All the staff is very friendly as well. Can’t wait for the shop to expand with more team members. Hopefully it prospers because I’ll be sticking around!

There is a reason why I drive 30 minutes to see Neil for a great cut, this is the best barbershop in the area! The guys are all super friendly and professional and the shop is always immaculate. Neil’s skill and quality are the best I’ve found in any barber and I won’t go anywhere else. If you’re looking for a great traditional barbershop with skillful craftsmen at the helm, this is the shop.

Best Barbershop in town hands down. Neil and his crew are perfectionists. They use the best hair care products and tools. I’ve been going to Neil for years and had never had a haircut I didn’t like. Shop has a cool vibe, lots of sports memorabilia on the walls, high definition flat screens, and cold beer. What more could you ask for?

I started going to Neil about two years ago when he was at The Handlebar in Thousand Oaks. I don’t live near Thousand Oaks or Oak Par but his haircut is definitely worth the drive. Outstanding attention to detail and always makes sure you are satisfied with the end product.
Recently I wasn’t too happy after I had left the shop, came back and he managed to squeeze me into his schedule and fix me up right away. There is a good reason you have to book an appointment 3 to 4 weeks in advance.
Upstanding individual, great attention to detail, awesome shop vibe.

Neil is absolutely fantastic and his new Double Edge Studio is awesome. Neil is highly skilled, meticulous, and a top notch professional. On top of that, he is polite and genuine — a true down to earth neighborhood barber. And his shop is great, too. Double Edge is clean, intimate, and welcoming — Neil provides great tunes and conversation and you can enjoy some sports on the flatscreen and a refreshing beverage while receiving a haircut, shave and/​or beard trim of the highest quality.

My son has been going to Neil for over a year now. He used to work at The Handlebar Shop on TO Blvd. Neil transformed my son’s hair from shaggy surfer to slick city boy. Couldn’t have been more impressed with his skill as a barber. Neil is a perfectionist with hair. My boy always looks so good and gets tons of compliments on his hair. Super content with his services.
Absolutely worth the $ 30 for the gentleman’s cut. New studio is clean, roomy and well lit with natural light. I suggest you make an appt well in advance, Neil is very popular for obvious reasons, and is quite often booked weeks in advance. 5 stars
