I came with my mom, sister, aunt & cousin to pick my dress. I never thought i was actually going to get a dress here. I absolutely love my dress! It was the last dress that i tried on at the store. They were so nice & easy to work with. Easy & simple. They had lots of dresses.

I would give a 0 star review if it were an option.
This place is horrible. The man who runs the place is the rudest person I have ever met in my life. I originally called and spoke to a really nice lady, who promised me she would beat a price we found on bridesmaid dresses. She said she would beat it by 10% and would allow my girls, who live far from the store, to call in their measurements and pay by credit card over the phone. She said she would call me back the next day and took my phone number down. I never heard from her again. A week or so later, I tried calling again, and this man answered the phone. I told him about my previous conversation (with who seemed like the owner or manager) and he raised his voice at me and told me they would never allow that price, they don’t take credit card, and all the girls needed to go into the store to give measurements. Exactly the opposite of what the lady previously said. I asked if I could speak to her and he rudely said no, and they would never honor the price. My maid of honor then called to try to talk to him since he was so rude to me, and he was just as rude to her. We should have just taken our business elsewhere at this point. I called several times after and asked to talk to the owner. Each time he told me no, or that she wasn’t available. I asked to leave a message to have her call me back, and of course, I never got a call.
The man finally agreed to the price to my maid of honor. However, he charged us a ridiculous amount of money for shipping, which equaled out to be MORE than the first store we found the dress at. So much for beating the price. The man just ripped us off and he ended up getting more than what the dress was worth. Again, we should have left.
He was incredibly rude to my maid of honor the few times she was in there. He then demanded she pay for the dresses in cash, when she wanted to pay with a debit card. He raised his voice at her once again and told her she needed to pay cash, period.
When the dresses finally came in, the very nice lady called my maid of honor to tell her they were ready for pick up anytime. She went in to pick them up, and while waiting for the lady who was on the phone to help her, she thought she’d just look around. The man came out from the back, and asked her why she was there. She told him she was just picking up dresses, and he told her she couldn’t look at the dresses, or pick our dresses up without an appointment. She told him the lady called her and said anytime. He went in the back and came back out and told my maid of honor that the dresses were never ordered. He then asked her again why she was there and told her to leave. My maid of honor waited for the lady to get off the phone and told her what was going on. The lady then went in the back and came out with our dresses.
The point of this whole, long nightmare is that I have no idea why this store is still in business with the quality of service it offers. I have never been spoken to, lied to, and ripped off the way the man at this store has done to us. I am so disappointed in everything. All we wanted to do was keep our money local and support the business, but that was the worst decision I have made. I honestly can’t believe how rude he was EVERY SINGLE TIME I and my maid of honor spoke to him, and how much he ripped us off.
Just a word of advise to the future brides and bridesmaids out there– do not go here. It will be a nightmare like it was with us.

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND UNKNOWLEDGEABLE!!! ZERO STARS!!!
I visited The Bridal Collection this past weekend with my bridesmaids. I have 12 bridesmaids for my upcoming wedding in October of this year. I have an amazing group of women of all shapes, colors and sizes. We went to the Bridal Collection specifically because they carry the Jasmine Bridal line, which is the line I wanted for the bridesmaids. Upon arrival, we were quickly dismissed by the owner and handed off to an employee. At that time I said we were looking for Jasmine dresses only. She said they were mixed in with all of the other dresses. I then asked if she could help us pull ONLY the Jasmine dresses, as to avoid trying on a different designer’s dress. She said yes, we waited, she never pulled anything for us. The girls took it upon themselves to start pulling dresses.
As far as assistance in the dressing room… terrible! One of the girls had the dress clipped to her actual back skin and was left with a welt. (See her review with pictures!) The other girls pretty much put themselves in their dresses and came out with open backs. We found a few dresses that we liked, but then found out they weren’t actually Jasmine dresses. And then when we did find Jasmine dresses we liked, I asked if they came in a specific fabric. She said, «I don’t know.» I asked if there was any way we could find out which dresses came in the «Tiffany Chiffon». She said, «I don’t know, Google it!» She then went on to say, «Go online, find the dresses you like, come back and we’ll order them for you.» Uhhhh, how are we supposed to know if they fit and flatter everyone?
As I waited for the girls to change, the owner asks who the brides was. That’s something not only as an owner, but someone in the bridal industry that should be asked as soon as we entered the building. Once I identified myself as the bride, he started interrogating me about why I hadn’t purchased my dress with them and who was the designer I ended up going with. I wasn’t there for me, I was there for my bridesmaids.
As we discussed fabrics and colors, another party showed up with a bride looking for her dress. We were then asked if we were done. Some of the girls were still walking around in gowns! One bridal gown vs TWELVE bridesmaids dresses?! Hmmmmm… I think you would have made a good chunk of money on us considering the average Jasmine dress is $ 265! I said, «I guess we are! Let them change into their clothes!» As they changed, I called Camarillo Bridal in front of both the owner and employee. Camarillo Bridal was willing to take us within the hour.
We began to walk out and nobody said anything to us. Not a «thanks for shopping us», «Is there anything else we can help you with?»…NOTHING! Instead as soon as the last girl exited the building a women, the owner’s wife I’m assuming, followed behind us, gave us a dirty look and slammed the front door!
I was very disappointed! Not only did I have a terrible experience, but my girls were left feeling disrespected, frustrated and super upset!
One of the bridesmaids left feedback here on Unilocal right after we left. She received a response from someone who not only berated her, but went on to make excuses for such horrific service. She went on to comment about her English, spelling, etc. How about this??? Focus on stepping up your customer service! You mentioned being in the service industry and how thankless it is. I agree, it is a thankless job, but only when you suck at it. And if you wanted concern yourself with grammatical errors and spelling, you should have went down the path of Education instead!

From the moment we walked into this shop, we all felt we were being judged and possibly stereotyped. We had a bridesmaid dress fitting at 2pm today, and we happen to be women of all races, Asian, Black, Samoan, Latin, etc. When we walked in, we were not greeted, as a matter of fact, the owners looked at us like we didn’t belong there.
We came in for a specific brand of bridesmaid dresses to try on, and clearly the workers didn’t have a clue where they were, and wanted US to look for them since they were «mixed in» with the other dresses.
Now why would I have to look for the dresses if YOU «work» here?! Then, when we asked for what type of dress this was, her response, «we don’t know, we have a coding system here so we don’t know what type they are unless you order it. So I asked, «can you look it up? Does the owner know?» Her response, «he doesn’t know either.» She then told us to «Google» it. I’ll give you something to google!
BEWARE! THEY’LL INJURE YOU TRYING TO FIT YOU IN A DRESS! MY BACK ISN’T BLUE SO WHY WOULD YOU CLIP MY SKIN?! MY BACK STILL STINGS BEING CLIPPED!
We were not even done with trying on the dresses (mind you, this was a SCHEDULED appointment), and as soon as a party for a bride came in, the girl who supposedly was «helping» us rudely says, «you guys done?» That’s when we had enough! Never once did we raise our voices, or being disrespectful in any way!
Customer service is non existent here!
Little do they know, they could’ve made more money off of us (bridal party of 12) compared to what they would’ve made from the bride who came in during our scheduled appointment.
DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! There’s plenty of other businesses that will give you the care and time you deserve!

No joke, I tried on about 100 dresses, looked throughout the country, from David’s Bridal to Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills, then finally found my dress here! They had designs from the collections before the other places in LA did and was well priced. The owner is obviously a personality, but you have to just embrace it and it makes fun. And of course, the dresses are beautiful.

I don’t like giving negative feed back, but I was asked repeatedly to write a review on Unilocal.
I’m very frustrated with my experience! The owner is Very pushy and I ended up getting my dress out of pressure because I didn’t have much time before my wedding day comes and we weren’t sure how long it would take before the dress would come in. Sometimes it could take months to arrive.
I ended up with a dress way too big because he over measured me, after I insisted on having him order a size or 2 smaller because I’m eating right & working out. This was even after his employee Alyssa measured me and agreed that at least a size smaller should work for me. But, I think she was afraid of him because she started questioning herself as well. I have a smaller waist and fuller hips, but the dress I got is a flowy sheath styled dress that is not tight fitted below the natural waist, and he should have concentrated on the fit of my upper body more. Because of their No exchange or No return policy, my dress needs to be cut up to fit me properly and not from the sides, but down the middle. A lot of the detail is going to be compromised. I’m hoping that my seamstress can work a miracle to get it to still look the way it’s supposed to. My seamstress also asked why did he order it 2 sizes too big? I regret giving him my business especially after my dress came in 2 weeks after he ordered it. The way he made it sound, I thought it was going to take 1 – 2 months with expedited shipping. I felt like he took advantage of me and my situation. I wish I would have stuck to my gut and walked out instead of being scared because of the short amount of time left before my wedding comes up. It’s too expensive to get another dress & too risky for getting it in on time now.
I’m only giving 2 stars because Alyssa was the original person helping me out, before the owner came in, and she was pleasant person.
Good customer service should be a priority especially for such an important event & the cost that’s put into it.

This is the most wonderful and whimsical bridal shop! Their dresses are absolutely stunning and very reasonably priced.
I shopped around all over the valley and finally ended up here where I found my perfect dress.
They were helpful, tentative, super nice and it’s such a lovely spacious showroom!
Everyone there is very knowledgable. They owner even helped me make the decision on which dress to pick for our rustic wedding (so thankful for him)
My dress arrived within 4 months, so we have plenty of time for alterations.
Thank you for everything, I couldn’t be happier with my dress!!!

Super rude unprofessional staff. Never coming back here again and would warn others to stay away.

This was my first bridal dress experience and it was great up until the point the owner came into the picture. Meghan was helping me try on the dresses and she was excellent! I was moments away from saying yes to the dress when the owner barged in the room yelling at my sister for taking pictures of me in the dress. He wouldn’t stop harassing her until he saw her delete the picture in front of him! It was such a turn off, he ruined the whole experience with his rude behavior. This isn’t the first I’ve heard of this owner being rude to the bride and the families. Even though I loved Meghan and the dress, I didn’t want to give my money to HIM so I moved on to a different place. I don’t recommend this place and I would NEVER recommend to any bride to be!

I will start off to say this place looks so cute and neat from the outside. The minute you enter and talk to the owner the entire dynamic changes. He was rude from the second we got there and kept on making inappropriate comments. He even asked to take a photo of me from behind and backed off after I told him NO 3 times! He even got too close trying to alter an area to close to the boobs! Ugh back off perv! Sorry unacceptable!
ALYSSA — — - was awesome helping my niece and I try on dresses. She was extremely helpful, she tightened the gowns perfectly so you can get a great idea of how they’d look in your size. She saw our visions right away and was knowledgable of the gowns in the store. I really appreciate her making our first experience great. I hate to see her working with such an ass**** and she deserves to be working for someone who appreciates her hard work and positive element she brings to help the brides to be.

First off I had an appointment with my aunt who is also a bride to be, and it took about 45 mins for us to get a room and start our adventure. The owner was extremely rude! He pretty much almost sent us away because of the budget we gave him. Finally when we were helped by a very nice girl named Alyssa, she was incredible! Very helpful, very nice, and treated us like princesses! But as we continued our trying on of dresses the owner kept making rude comments and interrupting our memorable time. I also do wish there was more of a selection of dresses. Over all the only person that made our time enjoyable was Alyssa! Other than that the place is not worth going to!

Loved going here for wedding-​dress shopping! The staff was attentive, knowledgable, and friendly, and we found the PERFECT dress for well under our budget. The assistant knew what to add, remove, or adjust on each dress to best fit the bride’s style and figure. Would definitely recommend this place!

I bought my dress today at Bridal Collection! I got my dream dress for a reasonable price. The sweet associate Alyssa was very nice and made my experience fun! Would absolutely recommend this place above all in Ventura county. There was so many pretty choices.

I came in here when I was shopping for a wedding dress. Yes, I didn’t make an appointment. There was no one in the store. It was just mother and I. This lady talking on the phone comes out and stares at us. And the first thing she asked, «do you have an appointment» I felt not welcomed. I said no I don’t. So she then said that there was a lady coming in 15 minutes who did make an appointment, and that there was no one there to help me. So, I left and never returned. It’s cheap quality dresses anyway. I don’t recommend them. One star because it’s my only option.

I found the most perfect dress here and got it for a great price! It’s unique, and they offer a tailor that fixes everything you need and offers a complementary cleaning. Alyssa was amazing, and so helpful. She helped me find the dress of my dreams! Highly recommend this store.

Oh. My. Gosh. YES. This place is INCREDIBLE. It’s like a bridal wonderland. As soon as I stepped into this place, I knew I’d find the perfect gown. Their selection is unbelievable. I worked with Alyssa (who is amazing !!!) and she made me feel so comfortable. She was professional, kind, focused and most importantly, she was honest. She’s about my age so I felt comfortable asking her opinion. The first dress I tried on was the one. I tried on about 7 overall.
Bottom line, if you’re looking for a wedding gown. this is your place. The prices are great, staff is awesome and the selection is huge.
Most of these other people commenting negative reviews are probably bridezillas so I’d disregard them. Just have an idea as to what you like and don’t like and set a budget. I also came today (a friday) and I basically had the place to myself. I heard Saturday’s are fairly busy so I’d steer clear of the weekend for an appointment.
This place gets an A+ ! Hands down.

I went there with my girlfriend today (the bride). She lives in Sherman Oaks and I insisted that we drive to Thousand Oaks because I’ve seen some good looking dress shops down the blvd. She originally tried to make an appointment with Wisteria Bridal but was unable to as they stated they were dealing with a «private matter» and not doing business at the moment.
We walked in and were asked if we had an appointment. We said we did not. For some reason we explained to him about not being able to make an appt at the other place. Meanwhile, he did let my girlfriend pick out 5 dresses. Maybe it seemed like she was going to pick out 6 because he called the lovely blonde girl (the reason for at least 2 stars) into his office. She came out and told us only 5. So my girlfriend proceeds to try on her first dress. We are in the moment, she looks beautiful… the owner comes over and only wants to gossip about the other store and how they are going down and what else did we hear as my girlfriend looks at herself in the mirror. What the?
The second dress she tried is pretty much «the one»!
Please note, he will not allow photos, know the designer or anything else about the dress. She discovers it’s $ 1675. More then she planned but has relatives willing to buy. They happen to live far and weren’t with us on this day. She called them, they are still willing to buy if she’s in love with it-​but they have to see it even in a photo. Owner will not budge. I said I understand his policy but the people willing to shell out the big bucks want a picture and are willing to pay now. All he had to say was you pay now-​$ 200 off, next week, nothing. I hate these games. So we saw the next bride face-​timing her in her dress with relatives, we didn’t think that was an option, we asked if we could put the dress back on and do the same. He looked at my friend and said «you don’t even have the money». I responded again saying it’s NOT HER that’s paying for the dress!
We left feeling crappy, went straight to Kay Bridal in Simi Valley. They were all too familiar with receiving very unhappy brides from The Bridal Collection. They treated us wonderfully.
Again, the owner cuts all the tags out of the floor dresses, and will give ZERO info on anything about the dress including the designer until you pay! It’s almost like paying for a car before knowing who makes it. Except this is for the biggest day if your life.
We were ready and willing to purchase the dress THAT day, at THIS store. had he only let us share what the dress looked like with the two paying relatives. SO, there’s this new thing called «Google».alas I just used my smart phone, found the dress, found it being sold at several other locations. No problem. I was going to post a screen shot with the designer name and style number but I won’t be that mean.

This was my worst bridal shopping experience. Here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
— Large selection of gowns
— Good for people who don’t have time to order a bridal gown because the store prefers to sell their used sample gowns than to place orders.
Cons:
— They will not tell you the designer or style number/​name of any dresses. They also lie and pretend they don’t know them instead of just being honest and saying it’s against their policy to share that information.
— They don’t allow pictures and will stop you if you try.
— They will only let you try on 5 dresses.
— The male owner gets way too involved and aggressively tries to sell you the sample gowns. He also walked over and adjusted the clips on the bust area of one gown I was trying, which really creeped me out. My wedding was over a year out and I said I wanted to purchase a new gown, but he still kept trying to pressure me to buy a used sample that was many sizes too big.
— The consultant was not friendly. She also didn’t want to clip me in the dress in the fitting room and kept wanting me to walk through the store holding the gown in place when there are multiple male employees and then she’d clip it in front of the store mirror. It was awkward and uncomfortable. She also didn’t give me any privacy in the fitting room, while some of the other salons let you step in and out of the gowns in privacy before they come in to lace them up and clip them.
— I find it hypocritical that they won’t share the designer or style number of gowns because they don’t want you to shop around for a better deal, but when I said I liked a different gown better I had tried on at a different store, the owner said he would sell it to me instead and that whatever final price the other store would quote me, he would sell it to me for less if I order from him.

I LOVED this bridal store. My brother is getting married and his fiancé is the best sister I could wish for. We were about 11 people who came in for just one bride. They were so nice and accommodated all of us. Jenny was so nice and warm, offered us tea and snacks to munch on while we were there.
The bride wanted a princess ball gown with the poof but we just weren’t satisfied until we came here. My sister in law said what she wanted and that’s exactly what Jenny delivered. The second gown she tried on was it. They made us feel so welcome and brought out champagne after the decision was made.
Come out to this store and check out their stuff. It was worth the drive for us and we couldn’t have been happier. It will make your big day decision all the more easier. Thank you Jenny!

This store definitely doesn’t deserve the negative reviews it’s getting.
I found this store online through a website for a dress collection I was interested in. The owner was friendly and extremely attentive. When we got to our appointment, one of the employees went down the street to Starbuck’s to get us coffee, which was very nice. Every time I tried on a dress, the owner came over to pin me and explain how the dress is made as well as the price (i.e. more expensive because of crystal’s in the bodice). He was also able to find some of the dresses I saw online and really wanted to try.
I left with my dress the very same day and couldn’t be happier with it and my experience.
