The best pizza in the South Bay hands down! Jack has been making the same style pizza in the same location for over 25 years! The sandwiches are great and the jacks special is cheap cheap cheap!

This was my first time being a Torrance resident and this is my new Pizza place. It’s clean, the food is excellent, and I just love it. Something as simple as Pepperoni pizza can be messed up but not by Jacks!!! They take care of how they produce there food with the best Ingredients. Trust me they are the real deal !!

Very good place for pizza! I found out about this place from searching on Unilocal for pizza places in the area. This is a local place, and has that feel. ** CASHONLY ** FYI. But my meal was great and I’m ordering again this weekend!

Fresh pizza and subs. I mean really really fresh. The Large sub is big enough for two but tastes so good it’s hard to share… friendly family owned small pizzaria… remember cash only.

Ordered the meatball sandwich. The meatballs were either cut into little pieces or extremely small. Either way the sandwich is engineered to use as little meat as possible. The actual meat is dry and flavorless, which is a clear sign that they are mostly made with breadcrumbs and little meat. So, they short you on meat twice! If you’ve ever lived east of the Mississippi and ate at a meatball sandwich, you will want to throw this sandwich out unless you want to a eat bread with meat as the condiment.

Really good pizza but its really greasy. I have to blot it down with paper towels every time. It is worth it though!

I like Jacks. The pizza is really all that I have had here… but I have had it many times! The old man makes the pies himself and his experience shines thru. Quality ingredients in good quantities at a fair price. Delivery available… but it typically ads 30 minutes.

Local family owned business. I had a meatball, pepperoni & Mushroom pie. Pizza is medium thickness, not quite Costco style and not NY style. Pizza had a high moisture content and the toppings struggled to stay on the pie. Crust was spongy, sauce did not have much flavor. Meatballs had and unexpected bite. Service was great. Overall the pizza was just ok, but I don’t live near the location and I would not drive out of my way to dine here.

Small family owned business. Cozy spot. Great pizza. Awesome prices. I have yet to try the subs etc. But the pie crust is light and flaky. My favorite.

It doesn’t get much better or basic than Jack’s Pizza. Like most South High grads, I’ve been going to Jack’s since I was 13(so, like, 13 years). I have never had a bad experience ordering or eating here. For 13 years, the food has been consistent and delicious. Even on their busiest nights, I am always happy to wait it out, and they are always so humble when there is a wait. Mama and Papa Jack are so genuine in their preparation of food. Jack is always there, bent over a pizza and carefully placing the toppings with care. Mama Jack(I think her name is Mary) is always making delicious sandwiches and salads. Their sons are so incredibly kind, and everyone there is so hardworking. They are the epitome of the American Dream, and their food is fantastic. While everything there is delicious, my favorites include the TUNASALAD(omg, the homemade creamy Italian dressing) and the VEGGIESANDWICH. But even the plain cheese pizza is a love song. The Jack’s Special(2 slices of pizza + a drink) has only increased $.50 in the last 10 years — that really tells you something about the type of people that run the restaurant. The only«downside» to this place is that they are cash only, but that honestly keeps me from going here every day, because I don’t always have cash on me. I love you, Jack’s.

I like the pizza here. It tastes good and the price is also good. That being said. I have issues here. I have been here 4 times in the past year and have only eaten here once. The first time I came here I didn’t bring cash. They are CASHONLY, no credit or debit cards etc… so I went over to the atm next door where the machine proceeded to try to charge me $ 4.00 service charge for using that machine. I cancelled the transaction and moved on. I was only going to order a slice and a soda so it was nt worth spending $ 4.00 for a $ 4.00 combo. I don’t know, I was kinda put off by that from the start. The second time, me and the fambam were at that mall again. I had cash on hand, the kids were hungry. The wife gave the nod. All the stars aligned properly in the sky and we ATEPIZZA!!! The wait(for the pizza) was pretty long eventhough we were 1 of 2 other familes there. I thought the pizza was good, my wife and kids liked it too. The price was very reasonable. I was kinda psyched. So, last month I had a break and ran over to get a couple slices and there was a bunch of people ahead of me. I only had about 20 minutes so I had to bail. Just wanted a quick slice and run but apparently thats not possible here. There used to be this place in Venice Beach(forgot the name) but you would walk up to the counter and hand the guy $ 2 and he would hand you a slice of pizza. That business model would work well here. So we get to today. Where I write the review. I drive over there to get some stuff at the little outdoor mall. I get my stuff and see Jacks. I put my stuff in the car and walk over. Thinking I have time today to finally sit down and enjoy a couple slices of pizza and a soda before the season really kicks in. NO, denied again. With only 4 tables in the place it can only serve so many. Just never works out. I don’t know what to tell you guys,. You sell slices. You should have more spaces for people to be served. I understand the delivery and pick up but you are missing out on many custumers. Maybe put in a bar or something. Its like the major things are good here(the pizza and the price) but its just so inconvenient to eat here sometimes.

Ugh… Truthfully, I wanted to give this place a 1 star rating just to bring down the absurdly high score this place has received. That being said, I cannot in good conscience give it below 2 stars because there was a glimmer of hope within the service of this establishment. Now I ordered a meatball sub, and while many rave over its quality and quantity, I was hardly impressed. The meat was super bland, the sauce had no special kick(it was basically just tomato paste with a hint of basil), and the bread was toasted, but mildly stale. The cheese was probably among the blandest mozzarella ever conjured, and did nothing to compliment the meat/sauce. Furthermore, much like the other lower reviews will tell you, the meat was used sparingly, so I feel like I was gypped a little bit. It’s not that the meat wasn’t in ball form, it was just that the amount used could have been more substantial. The single redeeming factor in this place would have to be its price. Since it is right next to a high school, I’m glad to see that the owner is kind enough to keep prices low, which welcomes local youths over for an after school snack. But aside from it’s affordable nature despite being a mom and pop shop, I could probably find a better meat ball sandwich at a subway…

Wanted to give this place a couple of tries first before reviewing, just to be sure it was not a one time thing, and it definitely wasn’t. The delivery, the service, the quality of food, and the prices, top notch and I love it. First time ordering was when we received a Hawaiian pizza with an Italian sub. I’m not the biggest fan of mayo but just a pinch works for me. The zinger here is the sauce in the pizza. With so much pizza competition out there, it’s what you taste in the sauce which makes it unique from a subpar pizza joint. It’s actually pretty good. From the second visit, we ordered a half n half pizza with Italian sausage on one side, pepperoni on the other, and jalapeños on both sides. This is NOT typical pizza jalapeños. These jalapeños are actually spicy! NEVER have I had to remove some jalapeños from each slice. This stuff is fantastic! Overall, at least for our location, this is our go-to location for affordable pizza with some amazing quality. Will I order more in the future? Without a doubt.

If I could eat here every day I would. Everything I’ve tried from their menu is amazing. The pizza is mouth watering. From pepperoni pizza to their bbq pizza… it’s all so good! When I want to take a break from pizza, I have their delicious sandwiches or their spaghetti. You can tell everything is made fresh with every bite you take. And to top it off the service is consistantly impeccable. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Look for the starbucks and it’s right next to it.
