Got the wrong order completely and now the line has been busy for 30 mins! But I must say the young lady who took my order went over it before she put it in With a smile. The back end dropped the ball packing my order and it wasn’t even a lot of other customers.

I frequent this Popeye’s and don’t usually have a problem but this time I was here on a lunch break and they completely forgot my order! They let me stand at the counter for 15 min while everyone else after me got their food. I’m not one to complain which is why I figured my food would be out shortly and maybe I had ordered something that needed took a little more time. Finally the kid came and asked me what I was waiting for. Made me walk out to my car for the receipt and then said oh I’ll start making it. Not a single apology or offer to fix it. Then I was served medeocre semi warm overcooked chicken. At this point I was late to work so I had no time to talk to the manager. Tried to call but of course they don’t answer the phone. I’m over this place.

I used to go to this Popeye’s for years when it was owned by someone else. At that time, the biscuits were bigger and more buttery. The chicken was fresher and spicier and the service was good. Since then, the quality on all fronts has gone down. The chicken breasts still seem large, but the legs and wings seem to be a bit smaller… maybe it was just today’s delivery??? I wanted to try their new Pepper Barrel Chicken Tenders and that was a huge mistake and waste of money! The tenders were not even tenders. They were barely bigger than my thumb and they were as skinny(See my picture) as my finger! I was beyond pissed that this meal was regular priced at $ 6.99! I got it without the drink, so I paid $ 4.99, but regardless, it was worse than a kids meal and that’s saying quite a bit! The tenders were not hot, so they must have been at the bottom of the bunch that was ready early on in the day and sitting in a basket waiting for a sucka like me to come along! The first clue as to their freshness should have been how quickly my order was ready. I could tell that they had not just come out of the fire and when I took a bite, I took it carefully thinking that it was going to be hot and was surprised that it wasn’t even lukewarm! At that point, I didn’t even want it anymore. I was super mad that they called it a «tender» when it was barely a «nugget» and even then, it was barely warm and I think the hot mashed potatoes in the box is what gave it the heat that it did have. I also ordered 3 spicy wings on the side with a biscuit. I only ate one and gave the rest, including the tenders away. They were not spicy in the least bit and they were rather skinny, frail looking things. Just pathetic… the entire meal! To top it off, you get one free sauce with the tenders and you have to pay for 15 cents plus tax(laugh!) for an extra sauce. I got their sweet heat, which was okay and a buffalo. The buffalo was not like anything that I’ve experienced before. It was seriously greasy in there… no kidding; like grease sitting on top of the sauce, which was in the bottom. It also tasted very weird, not like traditional buffalo sauce, but something else. One bite and I chucked it in the trash. I should have went with my first thought and gone to Albertson’s for their chicken! Cheaper, always hot and fresh, and never disappoints! This is a sad establishment touting«Southern» fast food… ain’t nothing southern about it!

Don’t ever going back!!! I saw a roach and told the cashier to see it. She saw it and didn’t say anything. Didn’t even care. She gave other orders first who ordered them after me and my order was placed at the stand for long time.

Place is ghetto, but it’s Popeyes. Depending on the day the workers may be just as bad. Doesn’t have restrooms. Food has never been an issue though.

The workers seemed very confused and kept messing up everyone’s order while I was there. They also bagged ever order including the dine in orders which seemed pretty wasteful. The dinning area also needed a good spring cleaning. As I sat eating food I looked at a picture on the wall that was next to me that had partials of what looked like bits of chicken, dried spit and ketchup that someone sneezed and splattered on the wall. Very disgusting! If I didn’t have a strong stomach I might had added on to it. If you don’t want to see it do not sit on the bench seating and look at the pictures on the wall.

This is the best Popeyes I’ve ever been to. I come here all the time, at least once a week. The food is ALWAYS hot and fresh. This is a plus because we all know fried chicken usually sits under a heat lamp until u purchase. The biscuits are ALWAYS so good and steaming hot! There’s another location closer but this location is so consistent and on point I would rather drive further because I know it’s going to be a good experience. Shrimp is pretty decent, if you read it says it’s fried in hush puppy batter(which we know is a little thicker than norm batter). For the person complaining about tails on shrimp, since when is Popeyes responsible for advising a grown person to be careful there’s a tail. Anyhow! Read the menu peeps and ask questions. I’ve even seen someone ask for a sample and they happily gave this to the customer.

People complaining about Popeye’s is confusing. You come here for well priced fried chicken. That’s it! Its not supposed to be a white table cloth type of establishment. Its pretty good southern style dishes, if you don’t like it, go to KFC.

Stopped in after a great round of golf. I love me some chicken & biscuits. It has been years since I’ve had Popeye’s but after a good 3mi run to start the day and walking/carrying 18 holes of golf, Popeye’s chicken it is… It’s a really small location. Ordered the 12 piece family meal. Comes with six biscuits and two large sides. They were out of cole slaw(what?! Really…) So had Cajun Rice and Rice and Beans. Had the Mild dark meat only option. Delicious fried chicken goodness. Crispy well seasoned fried chicken skin w/moist interior. Perfect. The sides on the other hand. In a word, salty. Wow, I think I drank six glasses of water. Even the biscuits were salty. How does that happen? Will be back but for chicken only…

Hey. Can you make sure your staff can add, subtract, and not come to work high? Thanks.

I ordered mashed potatoes with my meal and they forgot to give it to me. Seeing many cooks and employees in the back I would expect they can get my order right but I guess I was wrong. I went back a second time and when I ordered I told them they forgot my mashed potatoes last time, I checked the bag before I left. Again they messed up my order. Sometimes slow service with only one cashier. Hopefully they can get employees that actually make the correct meal.

Love the chicken, HATETHEWAIT! Every time I come to this Popeyes I have to wait 20 minutes for chicken. Every time !!! Seriously, I could see if it was the shrimp or another item that is not their main business. It’s Ridiculous! Food is good but place is mismanaged. Try the Popeyes on Carson St. They are better stocked.

When in and ordered butterfly shrimp. All i can say about it is CRAP/CRAPOLA. The whole thing is covered in batter with TAILON. They don’t tell you that. And i didn’t get my dipping sauce. I was ahead of 5⁄7 people who ordered TOGO they got there order before i got mine. I was dining in when i finally got my order it was for TOGO. NOOoo you idiot i’m dining IN. NOSTARS for this lousy place.

Small, but well kept Popeyes location. Staff is fine, menu the usual, chicken is great. I think the prices are pretty high for fast food, every few years I get a hankering for some chicken and then Popeyes 5 strip combo fits the bill every time, half naked, half mild, love their fries and dirty rice is ok, too. The rest of the menu items I am not a fan of, but those strips are worth coming back every so often.

Popeye’s Chicken left me wondering when I would taste it again! I am anxiously waiting to devour more of this chicken in the near future, maybe next week!!! Tuesday, when they have their 2 pieces of dark meat for 99cents specials would be a good day to try. All I can say is that their Fried Chicken is absolutely THEBOMB! I had a leg and a thigh. The outside is golden and so crispy & crunchy and the meat is super moist. The coating is perfect, not at all over-salty & greasy, as it is at the Colonel’s establishment! Did I say that? Well, it is true. Their mashed potatoes & gravy is unique … in a good way! There are teeny tiny bits of some type of meat in the taters or gravy and the cajun gravy complements it very nicely! I also had the Cole Slaw, which was quite tasty! The biscuit was good, it was fresh and even better with honey. I will get the Spicy chicken next time, hopefully it tastes just as delicious, only with a bit of heat. Unfortunately, they were out of Macaroni & Cheese today, but hopefully we can try it on another visit. Yes, there will be another visit to make sure that what I tasted today is consistent! Yes, that’s my reasoning! I will update this review when I’ve tested it out again, hoping it will indeed be next week!

Liz is the manager, so I imagine it’s her fault it’s run so very badly. She hired very young children who play grab ass instead of working. They should be schooled in the art of restaurant skills«I’m so sorry your order will be up in a moment» instead they gather and talk and talk and talk. Try cleaning a table, or sweep a floor. Go into the kitchen and figure out what’s happening? Why is the standard wait time 30/minutes no mater what is ordered. I would fire all the kids and hire some responsible adults.
