Always goes above and beyond. I’ve been going here since I moved to Tracy 14 years ago. I take all my cars here to be smogged and will continue to do so
Identifies other things in his inspection that are outside of the scope of the smog that could turn into issues later that should be addressed, a broken clamp to the turbo intake hose or an over heating sensor.

This place is the best! The employees are very friendly. I brought both of my vehicles together with my wife and kids. They were able to test both vehicles simultaneously while we sat in the waiting room. They even turned on cartoons for the kids to watch, but we weren’t waiting long; completely done in about 15 minutes. I will always go here whenever I need a smog test… star-​certified, friendly, professional service… thank you!

Went here after reading the Unilocal reviews, and I’m so glad I did! The gentleman guided me right in, and was super nice! The whole thing was done in 10 minutes! I had another smog check business input my odometer reading incorrectly and he even offered to help me fix that! What a great experience! I couldn’t recommend them more highly! I’ll never go anywhere else for a smog check!!!

New to Tracy, after reading reviews decided to try Tracy Test Only. They Greeted me when I pulled in. Gave me a price and told me it would be 10 minutes (it was actually only 5). Very friendly! I will definitely take both my cars here in the future.

Staff is great! They took me in just before they closed and even took care of another person who came after me even though it was already past closing time. Service was fast as well.

Came here for a smog check. They don’t take appointments but don’t worry because they are super fast! We we’re in and out within 20 minutes that’s me pulling up and driving away. Very friendly as well. Definitely recommend.

a couple weeks back i went in for a smong with my 2001 corolla. normally the car passes with flying colors but before going there i decided to wash the engine and left some wires off and started the car. check engine light came on so being the smart guy that i am i disconnect the battery and walah light went off.
smog the car and it failed. the guy looked at me and said what did you do? i was shocked… how did he know i did something. i told him about the battery and he said to drive it around until the system reset itself and he would retest the car. after a few times going back he asked me another question. How fast are you driving? what does that have to do with it i asked? he said if you drive over 65 the sensor will not reset. i followed his advice to the T and sure enough i passed. i have worked with lots of mechanics and have never found a place that was this honest and helpful. secretly i cried knowing that this guy was looking out for me and not the dollar. i cant tell you how much i bugged them with my issues. he could have told me you need to change the sensor or something that would cost me an arm and a leg. he didn’t know that i was unemployed or dealing with an illness. he took care of me like family and i am grateful that there are people like this still around. very smart guys here who know their work. thank you for helping me.

I called and asked how much the smog would be he said 40 out the door. I came in they had me out of here in less than 10 minutes honored their quote over the phone. both guys who helped me were very polite and professional and the certificate is sent electronically so it’s very convenient. I highly recommend.

We brought our car to get smogged here last weekend. I was expecting a wait and I was in and out in 10 minutes!!! Fantastic service and very friendly.

Fast. Super fast. Lightning fast. I think it was less than 10 minutes total. Wow. Super friendly too.

This is the place to go when you need a smog test. Other place will not even test your car if all the computer system is not ready. My car battery was replaced a week ago so that reset the whole computer system and all other smog station says I need to run the car 100 miles so the computer system will be ready. I ran the car 500 miles but they told me it is still not ready.
The guy at this smog station looked at it and decide to give it a try. He smog test the car and it passed. I am sure it was going to pass it is a 2010 car. The other station would not even test the car. They keep telling me to keep driving the car until it is all ready. I don’t have time to keep coming back to the other smog station every 100 miles to see if it is ready. I need to get it pass so I can register the car and move on with life.
The guy there is really nice and friendly. He smog check my car in and out in 15 minutes. He does not give any BS, no runaround, just straight to the point.
Will be coming back each time I need a smog. Thanks bro.

I can totally see why this place has 5 starts on Unilocal,because the dude that works here is AWESOME!!!
I went to renew my vehicle registration & then they spring it on me that I need a smog. So I Unilocaled up some smog places real quick & picked the closest one with the most stars. And this was it!
I called at 4:30pm, asking if they had time for a smog & the guy was so cool. He said «Yeah I’ve got time. But I close at 5, so hurry up & get over here!!». I raced down there, gas light on & everything. It took a little over 10min to get down there, I pulled up & paid, he started the smog check immediately with 10min before closing. Usually businesses will have a cut-​off time so they don’t stay open late, but this guy took my desperate ass in MINUTES before closing. So awesome of him!
My vehicle passed the smog check, & I was so grateful that he took me in literally minutes before closing time… I tipped him & ran out the door, drove back to DMV before they close for the day to get my stickers. and I hope this review keeps this awesome place open & maybe gets that dude a pay raise!

Went to 3 places on this street all wanted to charge at least $ 80 with 30 min wait,. Stopped in here and he will have it done in 10 mins and for 50 $. He’s the real MVP

Friendly and quick service. I came first thing in the morning and was done in about 20 minutes. Right now they have a coupon in the penny saver for about $ 30 for a regular smog check.

Been coming here for years… this place and the people who oversee the test center know what they are doing and always have a reasonable prices and they honor Unilocal coupons! They are efficient, accommodating, and kind to all of their customers!

This place was great! I took my car in in the morning and I walked in without an appointment. The gentleman working was very kind and efficient, resulting in my only being there for 15 minutes at most. The price was great and I am truly thankful for this establishment.

After traveling for over 6 months with my fiancé I finally came home and was getting settled back into life at home when a late night hang out session turned into a «Hey! Your car’s tag are due this month!» Wwwuhhhh?! I knew the year before I didnt have my Tangerine Dream Machine smogged so this year it HAD to be done, and add on top of that my registration paper work went to our previous address. I IMMEDIATELY looked around on Unilocal for a place in Tracy and this place stuck out.
Came around 11ish on a Saturday and my car was immediately wisked away and the service was quick and the staff was friendly. All in all took about less than 20 min. I definitely will let people know about this place.
