Never in my life have I ever experienced such ghastly customer service and treatment. The man that finally responded to me after I addresses him numerous times was quite possibly the most miserable and unkind human I have been in contact with. He was rough, rude, wouldn’t listen and hurt me. I was so tense that o couldn’t relax. He kept slapping my hands telling me to relax. He was taking my skin off while filing my nails and the Dremel tool was too hot and burning my nail. I tensed up and the next thing he is grabbing my wrists and grips them really hard. I pulled back and told him to let go and he starts screaming at me in Vietnamese. I sat for a few more seconds and paid him and left with my nails undone which really screwed up my day as it was my birthday. I had to go elsewhere to get them fixed which made be run 90 minutes behind for dinner. Nobody should ever have a person do that to them. Also the place looks not very clean. Stay far away from this place. Bad, Bad, Bad place.

They haggle you too much to buy extra packages on pedicure treatments.

I was looking for a quick place for me and my mom to get a mani & pedi. My mom was visiting and it was an idea while at the mall. The nice thing is they took us right away. The gentleman that did my nails was nice, but the overall environment was bad. The lady that did my mom’s talked on her cell phone while doing my mom’s nails. One employee was sitting in the pedicure chair texting. Another employee was doing another employees nails. When a walk-in/person approached and asked if she could have her nails done they said they didn’t have time. Yet, the whole time I was there they«played.» Also, I noticed the place was dirty. They don’t seem to use their down time to clean up. I wouldn’t go back even if my nails looked like Freddy Krueger!

Fashion Nails is a small slot located near the Macy’s in Park Place Mall, nestled between a massage parlor & a cell phone store. Horrible service. A friend and I went walked in for fills(a seemingly simple procedure). We were barely greeted at the door by the two employees, only one of which was servicing a client. My friend was seated first, and while I was waiting with her, her technician just left. She just up and bounced, no explanation. I was then seated with the newly free second technician, and only after we asked her what was going on, did we get the explanation of another technician coming in for my friend. My friend is a very gracious person, but her technician was rude and did shoddy work on her nails. My friend pointed out a few nails that had been filed crooked, and her tech sighed heavily and threw her file down, before composing herself and doing her job correctly. My tech wasn’t much better. Neither of them made any attempt to small talk us, they barely even asked what we wanted to have done. She was rough with my hands, and filed skin as well as nail. Service aside, there is nothing else to make this place even remotely attractive. The space is small & very very cramped. While not filthy dirty, it’s not clean either. Sketchy Item #1: Sketchiest thing I have ever seen was that the sterilizer and the microwave occupied the same shelf. This is a nightmare to me. Sketchy Item #2: When asked to sign in, most people assume they are simply notifying the staff as to what service they would like, and this information can be used by the establishment for research purposes. But here, you are signing a LEGAL document, assigning yourself as the responsible party and forfeiting any rights in case of screw up on their part. Signing in allows this place to forfeit any responsibility to operate a clean & healthy establishment. The fact that such a document is printed for you upfront, tells me that some sort of slip up has already happened, and who knows what happened to that poor girl. I believe that Fashion Nails is a sister store to Creative Nails, located in the same mall but by the movie theater & food court. Creative Nails looks like a better space, but if it’s operated by the same schmucks, I’m not feeling that joint either. Do not waste your money or time here. Their mark-up is higher(since it’s in a mall), the service is horrible, the end result isn’t all that great, the space is a mess, and it’s a legal & health hazard.
