My business specializes in one on one tutoring for elementary students. I will come to your home or you can come to mine. This is negotiable. I teach reading comprehension, vocabulary, phonemic awareness. I also teach math, history and science. I also teach guitar, singing and beginning piano.

History

Established in 2005.

Lynda puts a lot of effort into assembling the right curriculum for each pupil that she tutors. There’s a lot of information available online, and it has to be sorted through to find out what will work for a specific child. I’m impressed by how well Lynda can do this sorting and constructing.
My impression is that she can do this well because she cares about what she’s doing. She has a lot of motivation when it concerns her pupils. Children’s welfare has always been important to her, whether it was her own children, or the ones she’s taught and tutored. I’m her friend, but I’ve also done teaching of various kinds, and I think I can recognize good teaching methods. Lynda is a good teacher, in my opinion.
