Terrible business. I was trying to get rid of my salvage ’01 Honda accord 2dr. They quoted me $ 300 through online chat, and said a dispatch will call me asap. 1 hour later… nothing. I called them and they kept pushing my calls to Peddle. Peddle told me they are not part of WeBuyCars. Called WeBuyCars again and got forwarded to Peddle. Later they finally gave me answer that they only buy certain type of cars, others they will push/​transfer it to Peddle. I went back to Online chat again, and then they offered me $ 50, saying my earlier quote was a mistake. They thought I was selling a clean title car. WTF. SERIOUSLY??? Who the f**k would sell you a working/​clean car at 174k mileage (v6 engine) for $ 300. chump change for a working car. I even made it clear my car would start but can’t drive because 1 of the while is at 45 degrees.
TR;DL– Don’t waste your time with them. They’ll offer you $hit for your car.

Rodger came out the same day I called and was great.
Negotiation was painless, I gave them my lowest price and they met it (about 1k more than the dealer offers I got). I could have gotten a few grand more selling it myself, but the ease of this process was worth it.
Follow up has been great, they were patient as I paid off my loan balance to the price we agreed on.

Well where to start with this one? I had no idea what I was doing at first. Did some research on Google. This company came out. Was I going to sell my car? How much is it worth? That’s why I made the call and have someone come out. I guess there was a lack of communication at first. then we figured it out.

Let’s be honest… Your car is done. You don’t know what to do with it and salvage yards want to give you $ 500. Your engine is worth more than that!
I decided to google– buy wrecked cars and these guys came up. They spend money on marketing and have a good website. Felt safe.
Called up and the same day they had someone appraise my car for more than a salvage yard and sent someone over to handle the paperwork. I dealt with Jose Gonzalez — nice guy, knows cars and helped me get what my wrecked car was worth.
My process was a little different since I was waiting for the insurance company to send me a check to pay off the car yet it had to get out of the body shop — WeBuy towed it and stored it for over a week while I was waiting for the money and when I did finally pay off the bank for the title THAT day they sent someone over to pay me. To my house!
Great company. Hope I never see them again.

Okay, this is a good service but it’s definitely not for everyone. If your car is in pretty good shape you’re going to get a much better deal elsewhere. This should be obvious — the customer is sacrificing money in exchange for convenience.
But if you’re like me and your car is old, uninsured, unregistered, and was banged up in an accident, this is the company you call so that you never have to look at the thing again.
They come to you. They issue a check on the spot. They tow the car away. It’s all pretty painless. The appraiser they sent, Jose Gonzalez, was very courteous and upfront about the whole process, too.
Their call center could stand a little improvement, however. I called twice, and after taking my information I was redirected to a voicemail service without any warning or explanation.
Still, overall pretty solid.

Made a call one day and then they were at my door the next. My first experience was a few weeks ago when I had to pleasure of meeting Roman Alvarado. He came right on time in his wrapped «We Buy Cars» cool car. This transaction took place at my home so I had my father around for support. As a polished professional gentlemen he shook my father’s hand first then mine. Sad to see my dream car go I felt I was in great hands. Roman monitored my car. Carefully looking at it inside and out. He then took a few pics and consulted with his manager. After a nice test drive he came back with an offer. With another formal hand shake a deal was done then my ride was sold. Check right in hand with the tow truck to follow. This was a huge hassle free experience.
Overall the whole process with We Buy Cars is an easy. I may not have gotten my full value of my ride but it beat having to deal with all the work of trying to sell it on my own. I also felt like my vehicle representative cared. He explained every process each step of the way. You can tell Roman has been doing this for a while and is knowledgeable about his company along with the process. He was a great face for the brand due to his demeanor and professionalism.
