Comfort Inn & Suites

The hostess was amazingly friendly and even baked us fresh cookies. The room was nice, quiet, and clean. Only complaint was it isn’t close enough to downtown. But will for sure stay again.

I recently stayed at this hotel while in town for a wedding. When we arrived back in our room we came back to our bathroom floor completely covered in water. The leak was so bad that it had even reached the carpet in the room and soaked it too. There was well over a gallon of water sitting on the ground. We went to the front desk (because there was not a phone connected anywhere in the room) and let them know about the situation in our room. She told us that she would call the manager and let us know what he said. We came back down to the front desk and because the hotel was completely booked, we weren’t able to switch rooms, she told us that the manager would discount our room and the only thing that she could do for us would be to give us towels to soak up the water. The manager was working the next morning and she said that he would take care of it. The water was leaking from the vent in the bathroom and had gotten so bad by morning that there was a 3-​inch wide water mark on the ceiling from the wall to the vent. We had the floor covered in towels along with our ice bucket under the leak to try and catch the water. We weren’t able to use the bathroom from 7:00 pm until we checked out the next morning because of how bad the leak was. When we went to check-​out in the morning and tell the manager about the situation in our room he told us «it’s just condensation from the pipes, but I will discount your room 20%» This lead me to believe that the hotel was aware of the issue and was still placing guests in the room anyways. I told him, it was not just a small leak, and it was ruining the drywall and emphasized the amount of water that was on the ground. His response was «well since you say there was so much water, I will discount you 30%»
I wrote an email to customer relations for choice hotels and didn’t get a response until 15 days later. They informed me that the manager from this hotel would be in contact with me within 72 hours. I never got a call. Customer relations is issuing me a check for HALF of our room rate. I am so unimpressed with the customer service surrounding choice hotels and the incompetence of the managerial staff at the Walla Walla location. I do not plan on ever booking with this company again and will make sure to inform friends and family of the poor customer service and lousy guest room conditions for Comfort Inn and Suites.

This hotel is awesome! Jonah is awesome too! They have a great bar with food options, pool, work out room. And he bent over backwards to make us happy. THANK YOU for an awesome stay!

Nobody gets a five but this particular Comfort Inn comes pretty darn close. Okay, I know what you’re saying,…, Comfort Inn? Here are the facts. The desk clerk I think her name was April was really great at check in. She quickly determined we were here buying wine and offered the use of the wine cellar to store out purchased wine while we are staying here. She then informed us it was out lucky day because they we having bacon at the complimentary breakfast the next day. The room was clean actually pretty large and though the sink had a crack in it, it was clean. This is not the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, but it wasn’t the noisiest either. I would say that it was middle of the road quiet. We woke up and they indeed had bacon along with the other usual choices of cereal, waffles, scrambled eggs, various fruit including plums. The breakfast area was not some sort of afterthought where they jam it in a closet like so many other places. It was spacious with plenty of room between tables. Was it restaurant worthy? No. Was it adequate? Yes. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on another wine buying trip to Walla Walla.

As a flight attendant, this is a favorite hotel! They provide warm cookies and a great room. The current manager went above and beyond for our crew when we came in after every close-​by restaurant had closed starving and cooked us up some burgers himself. Truly, 5 star hotel quality!

I can’t review the hotel as we didn’t stay there! I tried booking for the Spring Release weekend but they didn’t have exactly what I needed. I went ahead and booked a room with them and then found what I needed somewhere else (Marcus Whitman (which was great!)) and I called and cancelled the room at the Comfort Inn. A couple of days after the Spring Release weekend I received a survey asking me to rate my stay at the hotel. I immediately called them and told them that there had been a mix up and that I hadn’t stayed and that I had cancelled and I was told then that they would fix it, It’s now over a month later and several phone calls… and finally just today I was told I need to take it up with my bank as they will not be reimbursing me… I told the woman I spoke to that I would be taking it up the chain at Comfort Inn and that I would be writing a negative review… she didn’t seem too put out by it; very disappointing! We will never stay in a Comfort Inn again.

Comfortable enough room. We had twin queen beds. Beds are on the hard side. Nice fluffy pillows. Nice continental breakfast. Lots of diversity. Not the best tasting in the world, but very nice for a complimentary continental breakfast. Fairly quiet, though we could hear kids running in the halls. I consider that more a problem with the parents than the hotel, though.
Free wifi, it is about a 1.25 to 1.5 Mbps. Always appreciate free wifi, and while the speed isn’t amazing, it is very functional.

Just stayed here for the second time in a few years. We visit family in Walla Walla and this is our go to hotel. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.
It is great for kids with the indoor pool and fenced patios. For adults the bar at night is nice and quiet with a few TV’s. The breakfast is decent. Good options and pretty healthy.
The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. It is a very quiet hotel as we could not hear anything from surrounding rooms even though we had neighbors.
My only point of contention is that breakfast only goes until 9am. I understand it’s a free breakfast but at least go until 10. And bananas, they had no bananas. Those are my only complaints.
Would definitely recommend to everyone.

For the price, this place was perfect. Nice and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. And the pool and hot tub were just the right temperature. Free breakfast was kept fresh. Will be back. Good location for those of you checking out different wineries.

Nice enough hotel, but use it as a last resort, front desk staff are just… I tried to stay here last night, the elderly lady at the front desk refused my military ID because it didn’t have my address on it. This chain usually gives military discounts, but no big deal, I can live without it, she was training a young lady though, so now she’s passed on her ignorance. Then, since I had stayed here before using my mother’s address which is local, she refused to give me a room because i was a local. I showed her my current license with a Vancouver address, but she was unconvinced and handed back my DL and credit cards saying they weren’t allowed to let me stay there. They apparently have some sort of policy that allows them huge latitude if they suspect someone to be a local, no idea what they have against locals.

Everyone posting prior to me is correct. Great value, nice units, friendly service. Right off the highway, but not noisy.

I have become partial to Comfort Inns and Suites but this one was one of my favorites I have stayed in so far. I usually don’t sleep well my first night away from home but i slept like a baby. They had two waffle makers so there was no waiting for breakfast. They have snacks, wine and just really have a lot to offer for comfort. Very nice place to stay for long stay or short stay!

I always stay here when I come to Walla Walla on business. I have tried a few other hotels in town, with the exception of the Marcus Whitman because it is always out of my price range for work. The rooms are very nice, I like the view of the river. I enjoy the patio in the evenings. The staff is very friendly, the bar has a nice wine selection. I was hesitant to try this chain hotel but was pleasantly surprised. It is now my Walla Walla home.

Dog friendly, quiet, clean, comfy, felt safe, $ 98 + 15 for our dog at the end of August. Came with biscuits, a plastic biscuit shaped doggie bag holder that we promptly attached to our leash, and two rolls of bags. Sweet. Good continental breakfast as far as they go, eggs and sausage too. We jogged with the dog early along the irrigation canal next to it, technically not supposed to, but it sure was convenient to get a run in before the day heated up and we checked out.

Clean quiet, comfy and super family friendly. Lots of great options for breakfast and tasty hot coffee. The wine bar is outstanding – especially for a chain hotel. Pool and hot tub are a great way to unwind and/​or wear out a kid before bed time. Refrigerators and microwaves in the room, great water pressure in the shower.
What makes this hotel special, though, is the staff. They’re sincerely warm and friendly and go out of their way to make you welcome. I woke up at 3a.m. and the night clerk (David) offered me a snack.
This place is unpretentious but nice enough to bring your fussy in-​laws. Reserve your room in advance for wine tasting events – it fills fast!
You’ll want to bring a travel mug and refillable water bottle to cut down on plastic consumption, but the Comfort Inn has everything else you need.

Of all the places I’ve stayed in Walla Walla so far this one is by far the best and actually one of the best priced too!
The beds are comfy, the rooms clean and quiet. The breakfast is more substantial than most continental fares and the staff is super friendly (we made friends with several). The patio out back is a great place to delve into a book or enjoy a glass of your favorite beverage.
I could go on and on but the crux of it is, if you have reason to be in Walla Walla check this place out as I’m pretty sure you won’t be disappointed.

This place ROCKS… left some stuff there and they sent it to me right away. Very clean! Great breakfast and nice professional staff. I would recommend this place.

Nice new & Clean! Best of all we left my sons favorite stuff animal behind and they mailed it home. This is priceless to me and we will be back again & again.
