The place was dead and we sat unnoticed for almost 5 minutes, it began to be a game of how long we would wait. Finally the waitress took our order. Banana pancakes and corned beef hash. 6 minutes later the cook comes over and said«banana pancakes» «we dont have any left», and stood there with an annoyed look on his face. We switched to blueberry and he walked away without a word. 18 minutes later the food finally arrives. The one pancake was large with 3 small strips of bacon. The home fries were covered in burnt spices and were disgusting. The toast was good. One of the over easy eggs were broken and the other was firm. I ate one egg and a piece of toast. The hash looking and smelled disgusting. It was as if they ran out of hash and cut up canadian bacon into little bits and grilled them until they were burnt. The hash had no potato, no onions, just littles crumbled bits of burnt stuff. I sat there while the waitress came back to check on is and she was oblivious to the horrid plate of horrible looking food. She finally came over again and have us our check and walked away without asking anything else. We paid and left.

I love the smell of the grill as you walk in the door and the crackling noises it makes as you watch yours and others food being cooked, and big Tom always willing to shoot the breeze, a great place to eat breakfast or lunch if your going to the flea market or not.

Very good food and friendly staff. The smoked chicken salad was great as was the french toast, and the ribs that came to the table next to us looked pretty phenomenal. The flea market in the adjacent parking lot makes it a fun Saturday morning destination. I only wish they had some real maple syrup…
