Popped in to this salon when I was in Georgetown. Service was sooooo slow. Arrived at 2pm and had to hurry out at 4pm to move my car for rush hour. Pedicure was sloppy. And the polish on my finger nails started peeling after one day. And they had the Home Shopping Network on the tv.

Tiffany was super nice and friendly. I like the fact that she offered additional services but did not push too much. Great customer! Would definitely visit again!

I went here to get my eyebrows waxed today, and I left very pleased. My brows look beautifully shaped, and it was only $ 10. Ms. Kim really took her time, and was very thorough. I usually get my eyebrows threaded, but it’s so expensive in DC, so I tried waxing instead. I’m glad I went to Kim’s. It’s not a fancy place, but they do a great job.

Yes, this place is barebones but they are very nice and do a good job. $ 30 for a gel manicure and a parrafin treatment is more than reasonable. They definitely do a better job than the place I’ve been going to in Herndon. Two thumbs up!

Kim & her daughter are very sweet. A manicure and pedicure cost about $ 33(with the discount they usually give you), so I find it to be very affordable for Georgetown. Also, they just got new massage chairs to replace their old, non-working ones. They do a very good job and make you feel at home. It is a very bare bones place but I don’t think nail salons really need to be all that fancy anyway.

I love Kims Nails. The pricing is right, the employees are so caring for your needs, and Ms. Kim is AMAZING at eyebrow waxing. Every time I go into her salon, she has a good amount of customers for brazilian waxes. She’s definitely known for her painless experience because they always seem to come out happy! I’m going to get one for the first time in a week so I’m excited/nervous to see how that experience goes. As for manicures/pedicures, they do a good job… its the cheapest prices in the Georgetown area so don’t expect some high class salon that does the best job in the metro area. I’m more than happy here; Its definitely worth a try!

Had a horrible experience! The worst pedicure I have ever had… the woman didn’t even have a clean pair of those throw away flip flops. Sanitation was minimal at best. Please, if you can avoid this salon, it is a waste of your time and money.

Family business. $ 26 for a pedicure, with 10% student discount. Barebones place, but they did a decent job. My pedicure has lasted for a really long time. To be honest though, I could get 6 falafels from Amsterdam Falafelshop for a pedicure. I’d rather paint my own toenails, but that’s just me. However, if you love pedicures and manicures and all that stuff, this would be the place to go if you’re strapped for cash and just want the job done.

I walked in when Polished couldn’t take me as a walk-in. It started out nice. Previous reviewers are right – it is barebones, but I figured it would get the job done. They even did a paraffin treatment, which left my hands nice and smooth. But, the polish job was terrible. It looked like I did it myself. It was way to thick, had bubbles and cracks. Awful.

Used to be the best place in town to get a bikini wax, but now it’s under new ownership that is less experienced. Tammy moved about two blocks north, right by Wisconsin & P, and her new place is 10x better!
