The Crate Escape exclusively services the Adams Morgan neighborhood, providing its furry, four legged residents with mid-​day dog walks. Our company utilizes a smart phone app that allows owners to track the progress of their pet’s walk in real time. An email summary is sent at the end of each walk which includes a start and finish time, a GPS map of the route taken, and a personal note from the walker.

History

Established in 2013.

The Crate Escape was founded in December of 2013 by Emily R, an Adams Morgan resident and pet lover! The company has been constantly expanding and now includes three walkers who also live in the neighborhood and work night jobs in the restaurant industry in the area.

Business Owner

Emily R is a Southern California native who found herself living out on the East Coast after graduating college. She is a life long pet owner and dog lover who prefers being on her feet to sitting at a desk. She founded the company The Crate Escape in December of 2013 and has fallen head over heels for all the neighborhood pups she’s had the pleasure of walking thus far!
