I tried to clean the pool myself but didn’t have the time and knowledge to do it properly. I called up Quan’s Pool and he came over right away. He gave me some options for cleaning and worked with me with the price. He initially shocked and cleaned my pool throughly, and now maintains it weekly for me. He explained to me everything in detail and even laid out the year schedule so I knew what I was paying for.

It was the day before Forth of July, we were getting ready to have all our family over for our forth of July pool party and our pool was turning green with Algae. We had a pool guy who supposedly «serviced» our pool every Wednesday. I was so upset to think that our pool guy was so cruel to overlook that our pool was turning green just days before our big party. Needless to say he was immediately fired. I jumped on Unilocal in the hopes that I could find someone who was good enough and willing to come out last minute to fix our problem and be ready to swim in just 24 hours. I found John on Unilocal with so many 5 stars so of course I had to give him a call. From the second I called him he said to send him some pics of my pool so he can see how bad it was. Thank goodness he said it wasn’t bad but if not treated it would only get worse obviously. I explained to him I was desperate and needed service like –now! He was super busy that day but he did send out one of his pool guys within 2 hours. The guy was great. He took so much time pointing out all the problems that my old pool guy was neglecting. Wow, what great customer service! It took him an hour to clean my pool, and within 4 hours my pool was crystal clear! Thank goodness for Unilocal,customer reviews and of course John’s expertise and great customer service! John just gained a new customer. I’m looking forward to having John as my pool guy! Thanks John, I appreciate the huge favor u did for me with such a last minute request!

He is an honest guy and straight forward. He tells you exactly what he is doing and keeps you abreast with the job.

Great experience! My initial call was returned quickly. What I thought was a broken pump turned out to be a corroded pipe. John was able to fix it a few days later and his price was very reasonable. He communicated very efficiently via text messages. I’m a very satisfied customer!

Johns and his crew are AWESOME
They have been servicing out rental in Orange for over two years and the pool is always in GREAT condition.

Pump has really weak suction, and pool starting to have algea. Texted John asking for help. He replied and came over to take a look. It turned out couple valves were on the wrong locations. He also pointed out how to shock and turn the pool pack to crystal clear. Bum! in and out in 5 minutes. Pump is running good, pool is clean and ready for the hot days…
Best of all: Free of charge consulting!
Definitely will have Quan’s Pool back if pool needed service later.

John is the man! After my pool went to crap during after a business trip, I gave up and had to call for help. John spent many days immediately returning calls and texts and definitely went out of his way to help me out and offer great advice. He even took the time to walk me through how to use various pieces of equipment and gave me instructions on next steps so that I could do them on my own and save money vs hiring him! Who provides free advice to help others out at their expense of their own business!?! Quan’s Pool, that’s who! Talk about an honest and helpful guy! Thanks to John’s help the pool is blue and can see the bottom again. Quan’s Pool should be your first stop for any kind of pool service around here. Highly recommended.

Great job in getting our pool crystal clear again after our pump died. Was very efficient in coming over and giving a reasonable estimate for the job. Would definitely call him back when we need pool service again.

This guy is very cool… I maintain my own pool and have called him for estimates on work. On multiple occasions he has offered guidance to me free of charge! Any other pool service I have called simply quote a price and are not willing to offer advice. I will probably hire them for routine service in the future when I get tired of servicing myself b/​c I feel they are honest.

The good, the bad and the ugly.
The good: John is a nice guy and he probalby can do a good job at some things.
The bad: John had a truck down but he didn’t tell me that he stopped servicing my pool until I saw the pool turning green.
The ugly: After I had to replace John (after he stopped showing up), it turned out that the filter set-​up wasn’t good, the gilter did not have a basktet, and he ran my filter at 30 lbs. which is too much pressure. Because of that, I have a part that I need to replace now. Not to mention that I spent a lot of money to put chemicals in and brush it myself so it doesn’t stay green.

Im a new pool owner and shopped around for pool services but as soon as met quan he was cool honest about his work. Good customer service

John just left a few minutes ago, and I am a happy customer!
I needed to replace my pool pump motor, and John came in with a great price. He got here on the time he said, and did a great job! He brought original equipment pump, not some cut rate motor to increase his profit margin.
I find John as honest and professional as all the other Unilocalers claim, plus, give him a chance and he’s has a great sense of humor!
Yeah, I’m happy I picked him for the repair… great guy, great job!

My old pool guy was pretty bad, so I fired him, and tried to take over the responsibilities myself. After my pool went green TWICE in about a year, I decided to look for a professional (I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve had a pool most of my life, but when I was growing up I only swam in it… not clean it)
Found Quan’s Pool via Unilocal,and am very pleased. John is very knowledgeable; and he and his assistant have kept the pool in great shape. Bonus: both speak English fluently (unlike my old pool guy)

Called on a Sunday afternoon & he answered rt away (so nice that I didn’t get a machine!), he took the time to listen & allow me to explain my situation. I was given estimates & plenty of great advice! It was very kind of him to take the time to explain what I could do & what I may need for my pool. I truly appreciate how he took the time to help me!

Contacted them for quote and they came by that night. Very knowledgable about what they are doing and all at a great price. They started service the very next day. Very reliable and I feel my pool is in great hands. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a sparkling pool!

My pal Jeff recommended me to use them for being honest and good in pricing. Very helpful and knowledgeable for servicing our pool keeping it sparkling. When I called him he was able to assit over the phone and not charge me this time. Problem resolved and Will probably call them for bigger jobs in the future… for now, KEEP IT UP!

Called Friday at 4:30PM…we finally got our keys after our 7 month short sale! Surprise surprise the listing agent who had the pool cleaned for the appraisal to get the house sold just let it go which resulted in a green mosquito sespool!!! Quan’s to the rescue!
John determined the pump had burned up and the filter needed some work… he totally worked with us offering new, refurbished or DIY under his direction! I appreciate options! beware of the guy who wants to just replace everything instead of repair! The filter had seen better days but he agreed to do his best and got the job done!
So now within 48 hours our mosquito sespool has been transformed into a beautiful blue oasis!!! We couldn’t be happier! We also hired him on for the monthly service where he comes out EVERY WEEK! Love it! Can’t wait to take a dip!
