5 n’ Go Express Wash

Come here all the time. Nice car wash when you’re too lazy to get out and wash it yourself lol workers are pretty chill easy going. Vacuums work well. Cheap prices and my wax and wash lasts AT LEAST 2 weeks.

I have been coming to this car wash since it first opened. I have 3 vehicles with memberships. The wash works really good and the bay’s are nice and wide. Vacuums are very powerful. Best of all the customer service is excellent. Especially, Destiny she’s always helpful.

Nice employees, vacuum included, quick wash. The wash wasn’t as deep clean as I’d have liked, but the employees, simplicity, and vacuums will probably bring me back.

Great place to come and get a quick car wash! The wash won’t get every single spot on your car, but it does the job. Their prices have increased recently and I paid $ 8 for the gold wash (medium option). I really like that it’s quick, easy, and they have free self-​service vacuums afterwards! The vacuums are strong and will suck everything up real quick. I once wasn’t paying attention to the direction of the vacuum spout when I was holding it and it sucked up all my tissues from my tissue box in one second! LOL oops!

This place is average. The price went to $ 6 from $ 5 so you shouldn’t expect much anyways. But they have vacuums, which is really nice. The only downside is that my truck isn’t that much cleaner afterwards and sometimes the staff is lackluster when scrubbing before you go in the wash. Careful if you have an antenna. Mine broke the first time through. My bug deflector was also damaged because the air dry pressure is so strong. Overall, it’s a decent place to wash your car for cheap. Nothing spectacular, nothing terrible.

This used to be a great place to get a quick wash!
Now, it’s just a place to wash your car (kinda) and then spend an extra 5 or 10 minutes drying your car to get that advertised «spot free wash»…
One would think that the quality of the wash would increase since they increased their prices, but it did not. It got worse.
If you still end up going, remember to take some rags so you can you dry your car after they’ve «dried» your car.

This place is fantastic. The staff is super nice, the area is super clean, and most of the crud came off my ridiculously dirty car. I came on a Saturday afternoon, and the wait wasn’t terrible, and I got right in to use the vacuum. I paid for the diamond wash, and it came with a towel, wipes, and a little tree air freshener. Also there are dinosaurs.

This place is super cool! Just what I was looking for! Wanted to get my car washed without getting out (and waking up a baby) but wanted a little more than a gas station drive thru… Also I never have cash for a tip so this place is the perfect solution! The washes are inexpensive and you get access to a vacuum to finish off your car. I came here bc I have a lot of bugs on the front of my car and they even prepped my car with a spray for bugs! As a bonus it’s colorful and fun! I’ll def be back.
PS– PLUS POINTS for honesty!!! I bought the diamond wash but the machine accidentally gave me a lesser wash. I was at the vacuum station and the manager came running over to offer me a pass for a free wash when I come back or to go thru again. I would have never known so I appreciate that a lot!

The dryers at the very end do not do their job very well. The vacuums are excellent, strong and they have a thin one for those hard to reach places such as in between the seats. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quick wash.

Wash is not spot free as stated!
Car was fully wet and still dirty… As some of these other reviews state you should not have to go through the car wash twice to get your car cleaned. Especially for a place called five and go. Are they talking about five times through the machine or five minutes?
Vacuums are super super powerful…
Save your cash and go to the wash on Rosecrans before Carmenita! That is the best one around town.

Let me tell you a story, a saga of my own forgetfulness and the amazing costumer service that rescued me. This place is exceptional. I had never been here and wanted to try – the facility is super clean and the gentleman who helped me steer in to the wash tunnel had the most pleasant smile and was just so sincerely friendly.
When my car finished the wash, I pulled in to the free vacuum stations and used my free towel to wipe down the water spots. My car was gleaming! The vacuums are super efficient. My car had been exceptionally dirty before I got here, so there was a couple of streaks on my window and my towel had gotten too wet to do much good. I decided to go to the bathroom (also very clean!) to grab some paper towels to finish up my windows. As soon as I closed my car door, I realized I locked my keys, wallet, and phone inside!!! It was about 8pm and I live nowhere near this facility so all of a sudden I was stranded.
But both the young men working were extremely sympathetic and helpful! They let me sit in their office and use their business phone. When I couldn’t get a hold of anyone, the young man working the wash tunnel looked up the AAA roadside number on his phone and kept checking in on me to make sure I was OK. When AAA got there to open my car, he noticed before I did and flagged them down for me.
During the time I was waiting for AAA, I also noticed how quickly and courteously the other employee was working.
The two men working there that night exemplify hard work and seem to go above and beyond in costumer service.
In all this experience, it was so amazing to encounter such helpfulness. Again, the facility itself it awesome and amazingly clean, but it’s the employees there that really make it a exceptional experience! Thank you so much 5 n Go!

I got the $ 10 premium wash & I wouldn’t say it was entirely worth it. Still a lot of bug spots on my Windows & car I had to scrub off with the cloth. Vacuums were awesome!

The 5 & go on leffingwell is awesome.. Im not sure why that negative review which was intended for the carwash on Mulberry & la mirada blvd. so crazy. I love the one on leffingwell

This is my go to place to wash my car. It’s fast, the vacuums work great and they are obviously cost effective. I will say that I didnt give them a full 5 stars because the last few times it seems as though the spot free rinse hasn’t been working the best and there always seems to be spots/​streaks that are left on the hood of my car. Nonetheless I will be returning.

The $ 5 wash is probably the only option that’s worth getting. I got the $ 8 option but the only difference was that they gave me two wipes to wash my dashboard -.-.

Past review: I loved this place and even had a membership… until my car came out scratched.
I can’t prove it, but I immediately cancelled my membership and I think it’s shady that the manager who was off site never called me to confirm he processed my cancel. We will see if they try to charge me for December. I don’t think he wanted to deal with the scratch accusation. I didn’t even ask them to refund my two weeks left of membership– I just walked away
The scratch is totally directional like a brush.
Update: I was contacted by another Unilocal member who said he had the same thing happen to his car… I did contact the regional manager to share this information. I told him via message I didn’t want to argue it try to be convinced to take this review down but did share that someone else on Unilocal had the same issue. I never heard a response which was just fine.

Due to the California rain, the dirt spread all around my car. A car was a must. I’m usually really hesitant with running my car through a machine especially with my new paint job. This place has a nice clean look to it. The drive through touch screen selections make it very easy to use. You get a coupon for your next wash with 60 days too! They have friendly workers to help guide you through.
I had a premium wash, 2 free wipes and mircofiber towels (comes with the premium wash and checking in on Unilocal), and self vacuum service for only $ 10. I think that’s a knock out!
My car was covered in bird dookie and has not been washed in 3 months. The wash cleaned about 95% leaving a little left over stubborn poop. It’s okay, I had the microfiber towels to do some spot cleaning. :)
Very worth it. I would definitely stroll through there again.

You go through Jurassic Park while getting your car washed… can you say dope as f**?
It’s pretty elementary: you drive up, choose your wash ($ 5, $ 8, and $ 10) you pay (cash or credit) and you drive up to the wash. For someone as slow as I am, I appreciate the user-​friendliness of this place. I usually get the $ 10 wash and the first time I got a coupon for a dollar off the next one. Sold. I believe you can become a member by purchasing a couple of washes at once. Can’t think of the price at the top of my head but I’ll check next time.
There is an attendant that guides you into the carwash and hands you a microfiber drying towel and a wipe for your interior (not sure if everyone gets one or just the platinum washes but HINT: If you check in on Unilocal they’ll give you one with any wash… you are welcome) I bring my own as well but I recycle them drying towels. They have a large area with vacuums and trash cans where you can handle the interior. I’ve taken my car to hand wash places but they never vacuum my car right which is why I rather just do it myself. I never feel rushed and I get my car up to my picky standards.
Bonus points for coming here: You get a workout from all the DIY detailing (well if you are extra like me) and there are a lot of chicks that come here. Like a lot. Just letting my single friends on here know…
I dig this place because it has everything I enjoy: it’s ABC, it has dinosaurs, it’s inexpensive and I get a free towel and workout! Can I get a Hallelujah from the audience!?!

Such a cool car wash! I can tell from the outside that they put a lot of thought into how they wanted their car wash to be represented. I’m now a huge fan of this car wash and will come here more often.
It’s not located in the nicest area. This place is really nice and everything around it is beat down. When you pull up there are 3 spots you can pay and there is a girl directing everyone to which one to go to. They have a little kiosk type thing where you can choose from 3 options. The regular wash for $ 5…then an $ 8 one that goes a little more in depth and the last option which is platinum for $ 10. It includes the wash on top and under the car, a wax, and comes with a Terry towel and wipes. I went with that one. It allows you to pay with card or cash. Once paid it directs you to pull forward.
Once you pull up to the tunnel a guy gives you the towel and wipes and directs you onto the little ramp thing. It’s really cool because off to the right it has a light up sign that says «This vehicle is getting» then lights up whichever wash option you chose. They also have dinasour figures at the front and end of the wash. Super cute for the kids. At the end it also has a sign that tells you to wait and then when the car is done to put it back into park and go.
When I pulled up to the vacuum area and looked at my car it was so clean already. I didn’t have to scrub hard to get anything out. Their vacuums work amazing. So much stronger than any other car wash like this that I’ve been to.

The one thing I wish they had like others do would be a car scent to give to me. That’s the final touch all cars need after a good wash!
