Godiva’s Secret Wigs

I got my first wig today at Godiva’s Secret. When I first walked in I was greeted by Joanne who was already with a customer. Joanne was very helpful by allowing me to look around and try on Wigs and she even helped me pick out a few. She was great! She even trimmed the bangs a little for me on the wig I purchased. I will definitely be back for another wig in the future. Wigs are a great way to change your look without permanently making a commitment to a short cut or color then decide it wasn’t for you and then have to wait for it to grow out. Thanks Joanne!

I started wearing toppers three years ago after being diagnosed with alopecia. I absolutely love Godiva’s mono base toppers. They come in a wide variety of colors and the quality is amazing. The ladies always greet me as if I’m an old friend every time I come in the shop.
Since finding out the damage is permanent despite treatment, I’ve decided to purchase a very expensive human hair topper from another company (Godiva’s wigs are all synthetic), but I will continue to purchase all my wig supplies at this wonderful shop.

I wrote a review few days ago stating I drove from far they ended up being closed when I showed up. there msg said they were supose to open.
I couldn’t figure out how to delete this Unilocal only update. I just want to say Danielle reached out to me on here I called the store the woman I spoke with was totally apologetic. The next day corperate called me same thing apologized spoke few minutes. Answered any questions i had. They were both super nice. Awesome customer service!

But, Instead of continuing to complain about this crappy place, I’ve filed complaints with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, the FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATIONS, the INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE and CONSUMER AFFAIRS. Don’t worry, I’ve also copied all cancer societies within the USA. Your business ethics are questionable and I’m glad they will be investigated. 1 star is way way too good for you. Also reporting your attorney to the State Bar for HARASSMENT.

I’m a hairstylist who owns a salon. One of my best friends is going through chemo and i was going to have to shave her head the next day, so we went wig shopping. This store is amazing! They had everything she needed and so much information that we didn’t know. The wigs are fantastic, but what impressed me the most was the girl who helped me. This review is months overdue, but i think her name was Cassie. So warm, friendly, knowledgeable and just a lovely woman. Made my friend feel so comfortable about this horrible experience. I feel blessed to have found this place, and the wigs look so pretty too…

Godiva’s Secret Wigs is a wonderful store with wide variety, friendly and helpful staff and a personal touch. My mom and I had come here around 3 years ago, after she was receiving Chemotherapy treatments and was beginning to lose her hair. The staff was very patient and understanding. They addressed all of our questions and helped my mom try on many wigs without any rush. We ended up purchasing three separate wigs from the store.
Less than a month ago, my mom started Chemo again and has been experiencing hair loss. We knew we had to go back to Godiva’s Wigs. The experience we had was beyond satisfaction! We were helped by Courtney, a friendly and kind sales attendant at the store. She let us pick out several styles and explained that the store could order any of the wigs in a variety of color options. My mom chose a beautiful mocha/​blonde wig that had the appearance and texture of beautiful real hair — which made my mom feel comfortable. We plan to go back this month and order another style in the same color.
I strongly recommend this store for anyone who is looking for a personal experience with the help of a great, well informed and thoughtful staff. They have numerous products and accessories, for those undergoing chemotherapy treatment or for someone looking for a fun knew look. Each time I’ve gone with my mom, I have tried on several playful wigs and loved them!
Godiva’s Secret Wigs offers washing services for the wigs and other services to keep your hair looking great! They also spend as much time as you need to explain how to maintain and best take care of your new products. This place is fantastic! The prices are very reasonable for the excellent quality wigs and the experience is very enjoyable!

Amazing place for wigs. I had to get a party wig and they had so many options – I couldn’t decide because every wig was gorgeous and I wanted them all. They also have nice wigs for everyday. This is a great wig shop. I’m going back for more wigs! The service was amazing too and the parking is easy and free. Go here!!!

I am a hairstylist that specializes in non surgical hair replacement. I work with human hair as well as synthetic hair. I found Godiva’s Secret Wigs exactly a year ago and am totally thrilled with the styles, color options but more importantly, the quality of hair in these wigs. The styles are trendy and extremely lightweight which is a huge plus to a full time wig wearer! I have recently even made toppers out of a few of them which is a great option for someone that doesn’t require or desire a full wig but does desire lift and/​or teased hair on top. And to top it all off, I have clients complimenting my wig display daily and request that I cut their hair like the wig they are admiring (these are regular hair clients, not wig wearers!!)

I’m a huge fan of Godiva’s Secret Wigs.
Of all of my wigs Godiva’s «Sabrina» in Dark Chocolate is the wig I by far wear the most. I’m sure many people think it’s my real hair, and that all my OTHER styles are wigs. It’s my default. And no matter how long I’ve worn it, and how many times I’ve worn it, it has never stretched out of shape. It’s like brand new. While I know some of my other wigs may need some love and attention before they look nice, I know that Sabrina will always be there for me ready to go.
Yes, the wigs are very pricey. I think that’s worth pointing out. But as an avid wig collector (I have two shelves full of them, probably over a grand worth of wigs) I can say that you get what you pay for. Do you want to wear a wig every day, have it look fabulous with minimal effort, and have no one know you’re wearing a wig? Shop Godiva’s.
Also, the customer service is amazing and they make you feel like family when you walk in the door.

I am going through chemo for breast cancer. The ladies at godivas are amazing. They made me feel very comfortable. I came with a group of friends and we had a great time trying on wigs and hair pieces. The quality is amazing. I bought a hat with hair piece and plan on going back this week for a halo hair piece too. I highly recommend godivas for anyone going through hair loss. They are very knowledgable, helpful, and kind!

My natural hair is so thin you can see my scalp through it, and fixing it to look decent was taking more and more time. About a year and a half ago I felt it was time for a wig so people would actually look at my face instead of my balding head. I tried ordering online, and looked like a chia pet. Then I got up the nerve to go into a wig shop and was horrified at how they treated me. I was pressured and felt they were only out to make a sale, didn’t care how I looked or felt about this, which was pretty hard for me. I was about to give up when thank goodness I found Godivas Secret Wigs, I was living in CA at the time. It’s wonderful that their consultants will come to your home, and all that pressure is gone. They are SO warm and caring, and will answer every question you have. I’ve been wearing a Godivas Secret wig for at least 9 months now and get compliments every day on how cute my cut is, or the highlights look so great etc. Nobody EVER knows it’s a wig. Even my dental hygienist, who is about five inches from my face can’t tell. I will never shop anywhere else. The quality is outstanding, and I just don’t bother my natural hair so no more salon visits for lots of money. Love them!

godivas secret wigs are by far the best wash and wear wigs money can buy. As a full time wig wearer I can tell you nobody knows i am wearing a wig and I get compliments all the time. You can find a local consultant to help you with all your needs.

After having worn a number of wigs from different companies my list of things I want in a wig is pretty specific. It of course need to be cute and make me look great. But there is also the fit and finish of the wig that has become pivotal in my buying decision. I decided to give Godiva’s a look and met Melinda who listened to my requirements and managed to help me work through them I ended up purchasing my first lace front wig and am experimenting with a longer look. And I can have it shortened anytime if this is not what I end up liking. She gave me a great makeup idea as well. I was very pleased with my look and her help. I was a bit scared when my husband and I came to the shop. I have Lupus and other auto-​immune conditions that just haven’t been kind to my hair. I was wearing hats, scarves, but not feeling comfortable about my own sense. Janet had me walk around the store and pick different styles and colors of the wigs I liked. The first few, were «eh». Then Janet found another to try, it was Perfect! I felt whole again, I felt real! I had Hair! I was crying, my husband had tears in his eyes, and Janet was beaming. I haven’t felt like myself, not wanted to look at my hair, and now — Amazing! My wig n I are very happy, as are my husband and son. My one regret is that I waited so long to take this step, to stay on denial. Your family loves you, they aren’t going to tell you, hey you know, you are looking pretty bad, and at times it’s embarrassing when people think you are our grandmother! I’m so glad I took the step, and Janet was so caring, loving, understanding. Janet also taught me the ins n out of care n storage, answered all our questions. And made me feel so right! I will defiantly go back, and I encourage any woman who needs a wig, or wants a wig for a great new look, to to shop here. The prices are reasonable, the help incredible! Came in to grab a wig for a costume. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. Found just what I needed and they even trimmed it for me!

Came here with my Mother-​in-​Law to find a wig before her chemo treatment. Sheila was working & was so informative, loving and warm. She was ready with tissues when all of us needed them. She listened to my MIL’s needs and what she wanted. As far as an unpleasant situation being made good, this is the place to go.
There is a 10% discount on hair piece items for chemo patients.
Once she starts to lose her hair, the shop will shave her head for free and adjust the wig (and cut the bangs for her) to fit.

Wanting to represent for my Los Angeles team the Varsity Brawlers of the Derby Dolls league, I desparately needed something purple. Feeling a little Julia Roberts/​Pretty Woman, I decided on a purple wig.
Trolling around the neighborhood, shouted «Wigs» into my IPhone and wouldn’t you know, Godiva’s Secret was two blocks away. I popped in right before closing. The ladies were incredibly friendly and had exactly what I needed.
They have a great variety of what I can only call «hair». Adding hair, has become quite popular. No longer are wigs, falls, etc. the brand of the geriatric or chemo crowd. Thanks Brittany… They could do some sprucing up of the place. It feels quite large and spread out which gives the perception of emptiness.
Gosh, until now, I was always a little afraid of walking into a wig shop… don’t ask me why. I can only surmise, I was scarred as a child by witnessing my grandma rip her scalp off her head after work… WTF? How the hell was I supposed to know it was a wig… I was only six.
