If you live in the Yuma area or ever fly into the Yuma Airport, you need to come to Hapa’s! They validate parking at the airport, which is great, so you really have no excuse not to eat here. This place is incredible from the authentic food(so delicious/ono!) and service to the people who own and run this establishment. I only wish that there was a Hapa’s in my home city of Los Angeles. They brought some much needed ALOHA to my trip and I can’t wait to come back. Mahalo to Dennis and the entire crew for treating me and my crew like ohana/family!

Excellent food, service(Kiki) and ambience!!! We lived in Hawaii for about 6 years… read Unilocal reviews and decided to try. Hapa’s is located in the Yuma airport. It was great to watch the planes and people come and go while we ate. The parking was easy and our ticket was validated. The only downside was they only had one wine to choose from– a white. We highly recommend:):):)

Fantastic service with a genuine smile. All of the staff/owners made us feel super welcome and chatted with us about the food and drink options. The spam musubi is the real deal and so delicious I had to come back a second night for more. Their kahlúa pork is great — if you ask for a little bit of their house made sweet sauce(I forget the name) on the side, it takes it to a whole new level. The bar drinks were great — the waitress and I came up with a vanilla rum, coconut rum, orange juice, and lime mixed drink that might be my new favorite. Don’t be put off by their airport location. It’s outside security, feels like a restaurant, they do karaōke on Fridays and I hear they validate parking. I suspect this would be a great location to watch sportsball as well. Hours are 6am-8pm, every day. The long and short of it? Between the excellent, friendly service and the food, I almost forgot I wasn’t really on the island.

I wish I can give them a 6 stars! Best food in Yuma and great staff. Staff always treat you like family. All the owners always take time coming out to greet you. For the price, you’ll get a lot and tasty food. I haven’t host any party here yet but am looking forward to have one. This is a place you should come either for a visit or a resident here.

Literally, a taste of Hawaii in the middle of the dessert. Delicious food and an amazing friendly staff! You won’t be disappointed with anything on the menu. Don’t forget to try their Hawaiian punch, yum!

If you grew up eating fried eggs, steamed rice, spam and ketchup all over ever everything, you must be Filipino. And if you happen to happen to have a mad craving for such things, then HAPAS is your only salvation(other than going home and eating Mama or Lola’s cooking). I can’t tell much of a difference between the Hawaiian and the Filipino foods, so I am just calling the food essentially a hybrid of the two. After all, does it really matter, as long as you’re stomach is happy? Breakfast is served ALLDAY. Karaōke Night is on Fridays beginning at 6:00 pm. Full bar, and the Bloody Caesar is quite good(could be better if it had olives. You do get a single steamed peeled shrimp hanging onto the edge of the glass). The staff is friendly and accomodating. Our main guy I believe is the owner – he is kind and sweet, especially when he talks about his Mom(RIP). Docked a star for being not so convenient to get to. it is inside the International Yuma Airport.

STOPWHATYOUAREDOINGANDDRIVETOHAPA’S ANDORDERTHEWINGS!!! Ok, I got that off my chest. With great irony, I must say, «take everything I say with a grain of salt…» Isn’t that what we are all doing here, writing reviews based on our opinions? I’m blown away that anyone would give this gem anything less than a 5 star, and I’ve seen a 1 star here. «To each his own.» If the food doesn’t change your life, the service will keep you coming back. I pray that the owners/operator never lose their edge/passion/love for service and food. Between the food truck and the airport, I’ve eaten here 4 times. Great tasting food, high quality, great conversation with the folks, and unique. The wings are incredible, crispy and flavorful. The Kahlua pork was great, but the macaroni salad was off the hook — and what does anyone really expect from a side of mac salad? I get to Yuma a few times a year, and I can’t leave without stopping by and ordering something different on the menu. So the fact that it’s at the airport, makes it easy to have a quick bite before my flight out.

Awesome hawaii food and excellent service! Was there on work and arrived early at the airport. Was very pleasantly surprised on the excellent place this is. You know, I was expecting airport fare… they have a chicken dish that is just awesome, explodes in your mouth like jasmine says! If you find yourself in yuma, and at the airport, go there!

What a great little place tucked inside the tiny Yuma Airport! I stopped in for a few drinks before my flight and I was not disappointed. If you are into mixed drinks, ask for the hibiscus breeze, delicious! My bartender was April and not only did she make exceptional drinks, but she was very friendly as well!

My family and I really enjoyed our experience. Food was good and the staff was wonderful. They even give a military discount on food orders.

This is a gem of a spot for good food and its Hawaiian style food. The airport is not bustling so it’s still feels like a restaurant. The chicken guava was awesome. I was told they make the sauce here and you can taste it. A excellent dish with the chicken and the sauce on some fresh cabbage placed over rice. The breakfast I ordered was the big island. The eggs were cooked perfect. The pancakes are lite and fluffy with a cinnamon in them. Crisp bacon gives a salty bite. The spam on the side reminds me of Hawaii. The linguiça is a nice way to round out the dish. I’m coming back here for more of the menu or a lazy breakfast. Don’t forget to bring your parking in to validate it. They have free wifi. Service was awesome. Recommendations to refills to menu knowledge. I also like the décor. The Lanai poster on the wall is a original from the 80’s.

I travel for work and find myself eating food at airports a lot. When I was at the Yuma airport last week I stopped to get some food before my flight. I normally have very low expectations for airport food so I did not expect to get anything good here. I ordered the Combo Katsu Chicken and Mango Shrimp dinner plate and was totally blown away by the quality and taste of the food. Some of the BEST food I have ever had at an airport and the price is also great. Next time you are in Yuma make sure to stop at Hapa’s to get some great food before your flight. You won’t be sorry you did.

The first time trying this place and let me say that I felt a little awkward going to the air port just for food but I’ve been craving traditional Hawaiian food for a while now but can never find the perfect spot, or other places never seem to meet the expectations. I’ve found Hapas to be more than I could ask for of traditional Hawaiian food. I had the Kalua Pork and it did not disappoint it was everything I expected it to be. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I will be returning for sure. It was well worth it.

Just keep going. Yuma has other venues with a much better fare. There’s nothing I can say to even make this place sound like it’s worth the«free» parking.

Being a local from the Big Island I was so happy to find local grinds. The owner and his family are awesome! I so loved talking story for a while. I wish the food was more like I remember though. The Kalua pig with cabbage was really salty and the cabbage was cut into long pieces that didn’t cook down. The katsu sauce isn’t quiet right, it tastes more like a spicy BBQ than katsu. The rice was over cooked, almost mushy. The mac salad had pepper and some other favors that aren’t normally there. Don’t get me wrong, the food isn’t bad, it’s just not quite what you’ll remember from home. And there is plenty of Aloha to make you feel welcome.

It was strange to go to airport just for food but it was worth it to go! Their signature menu«guava chicken» was very good and server was working very hard. When we stop at Yuma next time, I would go back here again.

We had a great meal at Hapas — the staff is very friendly & food tasty! Our son is a Marine & his friend recommended Hapas. The rice bowl with guava chicken, tofu and stir fried veggies was great! You won’t be disappointed!!!
