Love their sausage rolls & pies… meaty, moist, wrapped in flaky pastry. Good coffee. Only tried a few of their sweets, also tasty. Friendly & accommodating staff.

Best café in Sydney! The bacon butties… The Reuben… The Nutella brioche. Even just a croissant will make it worth your time. Friendly staff, incredibly nice food

This place will probably be the death of me because I try to swear off sweets and this place keeps me hooked. Afghans are my favourite, but try everything. I’m a vego so can’t speak for the meat pies(although I’m sure they are amazing), the ratatouille pie is fantastic. Coffee is pretty decent. And the staff are always super friendly and helpful(hard to find in the east), and they seem to have stuck around since the opening so I gather management are pretty nice and deserve the business ! Aesthetically pleasing display cabinet and communal table, complete with cookbooks and floral arrangement.

This is a GREAT bakery. Pies are superb– make sure you ask for the homemade chutney. Staff are super friendly and you could go here every day for a month and get a different thing every day. 4.5 stars

Great coffee. AMAZING baked goods. Their cauliflower cheese tart might be the best thing I’ve eaten in the last year. Lots of healthier/gluten free options too.

Really good selection of cakes and treats! They even have a sugar free selection and to top it all off the milkshakes have 4 scoops of ice-cream! Yummy :)

Fabulous olde school. A Kiwi twist Sydney style… basic looking operation ie no indoor tables allows a large kitchen to produce nay craft delicious food –brilliant coffee, brilliant sandwiches [home made chicken with salad and mayo better than Grans] and brilliant cakes… Afghans, ginger crunch… the list goes on and on. This is our new favourite to grab a healthy [sometimes] bite on the run. It’s the new Crave. Tastier, more delicious and served with a smile. Long may she reign.

Opposite the Waverley bus depot, this small bakery/café does stunningly good cakes, slices and pastries, with a New Zealand twist(!). Ginger cakes, pastry scrolls, wonderful fruit slices and lots of savoury goodies, plus excellent coffee at the table on the footpath. We need lots more places like this!
