9 to 5 Furniture

I first noticed this new kid on the block because I think 9 to 5 furniture has a pretty funny name. I mean out of all the names they could choose — why 9 to 5? Is it because the furniture is meant to be used between the hours of 9 to 5? I think not!
I decided to give this shop a chance and went inside. And just like its strange name, the store offers a somewhat strange product offering which ranges from cool indoor swings, round drawer units, patio furniture and table nests. In short, a store full of occasional pieces.
That being said, I have to admit that the indoor swings really did attract me.
Before moving to Melbourne, I used to have a more traditional indoor swing in the balcony and I would lose myself on lazy weekends just sitting on my swing with a good book.
Now that I’m more settled in Melbourne, I’m looking to get a new indoor swing and 9 to 5 have exactly what I want. The last time I was in here, the manager was nice and was very happy for me to test the swing, even though I spent considerable time in the store and eventually left. Perhaps he knew I’d be back soon.
