Kind of like Subway but you’re actually eating fresh. This place offers sandwiches, rolls, wraps, and salads. You take your tray around the buffet of ingredients and pack whatever you like into your salad bowl or bread. With the level of choice it is easy to go away with a fulfilling and diverse lunch. This place holds promise as a go-to for people on lunch break from work.

I love Eden’s for the wide and fresh variety in the salad bar. You can choose one of three sized containers and build your own salad — I love to see how much I can stuff into the small containers to get the most bang for my buck! Great selection of fresh and marinated veggies, beans, nuts, dressings, pretty much everything you could want to put in a salad. Reasonably priced considering how much you can get if you stuff your containers right. If you get a pre-made salad somewhere else it will usually cost you much more and it won’t have everything in it that you want. I haven’t had one of their sandwiches yet but will definitely be back to try!

I always get the small vegan salad takeaway when I go here. It’s only $ 5.95 so it’s the cheapest healthy lunch I’ve been able to find in Subiaco. The trick is to not cram every salad on offer into your container but to do only 2 – 4 plus add things like spinach, seeds, pumpkin and mushroom pieces. Then you can have a different combination every day without getting bored. The smoothies here look great and my friend has the green one every day. Also, if you go back to your office and empty your container into a bowl you’ll be surprised to see how much food you actually got. It’s a lot. The only thing is the service is pretty slow at the till and sometimes they get quite confused.

Options, options, options! If you read my reviews, you’ll know I like options! Variety is the spice of life people! And there’s *plenty* to love about Eden’s: — An array of made up salads AND a large selection of salad *ingredients*. — A choice of breads, rolls or wraps — gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options — Choice of dressings, spreads, tepenades and other seasonings. — A range of sizes — sml, lge and X-lge — DIY *plus* a la carte menu Keywords: ‘Array’, ‘selection’, ‘choice’, ‘range’, ‘plus’. They just keep popping up! A few more brilliant things: — It’s affordable! — It’s fast! — They do breakfast too! 5 stars well-earnt.

Perched conveniently at the top of Rokeby Road, Eden’s pays homage to the garden where it all began, many, many moons ago. Unlike Adam you will not be punished for filling your sandwich with whatever delicious filling takes your fancy. The idea is an extension of the make your own model, only the produce you have to choose from is much better — in my humble opinion. To begin with the bread on offer is more of the gourmet variety. The ciabatta roll I often grab is amazing and provides the texture and crunch needed to get you through. The proteins are amazing and all cooked on site and replenished as soon as they run out. What really set the sambos apart here, is the sauces on offer. They are homemade and add an extra element to the sandwich experience. Eden’s is also great if you want to make a salad and it is reasonably priced considering the quality and variety.

Yummo, I love being the master of my own lunch-destiny! Unfortunately, my indecisive nature and a wide selection of delicious choices makes for a very long and painful decision making process. If I could, I would just put every ingredient into my salad and every dressing at that too. Fresh ingredients, clean place, friendly service, and free reign over the contents of your next meal; what more could you want?

As the world’s most pickiest eater, Eden’s Salad Bar is somewhat of a heavenly experience for me. As a control freak, it’s the ultimate place where I can go and orchestrate a meal fit for my difficult eating requirements, that doesn’t cost a fortune. Eden’s is a self-serve salad and sandwich bar and the perfect lunch-time spot for those appreciative on 100% natural and healthy ingredients. You grab a bowl or a plate, a roll or a wrap, head over to the salad bar and go nuts. With over 50 ingredients, dressings and extras to tantalize your taste buds, there’s something here for everyone. Fancy a burger? A chicken and avocado roll on rye? A gluten free wrap? An epic salad? Eden’s can hook you up with quality nosh for super dooper prices. I always get an extra-large vegan salad($ 10.45. You pay more for cheese and meat). You’ll want to get in early though, this place is popular and last time I went there my favorite chick pea salad was all gone by 2pm. Sad trombone.

I feel the need to spell out to first timers that this is a self-serve salad and sandwich bar. Whenever I seem to bring new people here for lunch they get themselves in a good fluster and end up at the other end with one piece of bread, some sprouts and a big fat blog of mayonnaise. You need to be calm and considered in the self-serve process, you need to plan in your head exactly how you want that sandwich to come together otherwise you’re just going to be disappointed. This is tear-inducing stuff. Edens is well laid out with your rolls, wraps, breads and salad containers at the entrance, a bar of pre-prepared salads(potato, beetroot, coleslaw among others) on one side, and a range of meats, cheeses and vegetable fillings along another. The ingredients are totes fresh and there’s a good assortment of dressings and chutneys so you can give that sandwich plenty of love. Edens also specialises in freshly made juices(they do this great spinach, apple and celery juice) and healthy muffins and slices(I was addicted to the yoghurt-topped muesli slab for ages). Some of the pre-prepared salads are a little uninspiring, but for a quick, healthy, reasonably priced lunch-time fix, it does the trick.
