For me this store is a no-go zone. I find that everything in here is highly overpriced and I can imagine a wealthy house wife wearing most of it. Now thats not to say the clothes aren’t nice, they are. They have quite a wide range, but all a little too classy for me. Nothing is particularly ‘cool’ more just timeless, sophisticated clothing. I am way to poor to even think about shopping here!

Hmmm… Ok, I’ll admit it. I don’t really keep up to date on all the latest fashions, new season styles, what have you. I know what I like and that’s about it. It’s not that I don’t appreciate fashion or anything, I’m just not one for spending money on designer brands and such. So Saba really wasn’t for me. I felt slightly grubby walking in there, like I was somehow silently radiating the fact that I don’t belong: an op shop loving student with only $ 20 in her purse is not really who Saba is targeting as clientele. But is you are a bit of a fashion guru, and don’t mind spending $ 100+ on good quality clothing, then Saba has something for you.

For those who like to maintain their wardrobe with clean, modern staples that are as versatile as they are elegant, Melbourne brand Saba is the label of choice for the snappily dressed man or woman. If quality clothing that endures fashion trends is what you’re after, Saba’s outlet store in Subiaco stocks a selection of timeless basics for a fraction of the retail price. Think basic black skirts, grey marle t-shirts, cotton button ups for the guys and 100% leather hand bags. Last time I was there I picked up a denim shirt for $ 50(down from $ 150). Although technically last season’s styles, Saba’s range really just does a contemporary twist on wardrobe staples. A great place to stop by once you’ve loaded up on funkier finds in the Colonnade’s neighboring stores!
