Busy and noisy but in a good way. Lots of families and today Christmas celebrations. Food and coffee really tasty snd well priced. Nice to be able to sit outside amongst the birds and wildlife.

$ 16 for a focaccia, not in this economy! Furthermore, the focaccia brought out was chicken, which was not what i ordered, so had to give them a spray regarding that(eventually came out ~10 minutes later). Tried to negotiate on the price of the focaccia but they did not have a bar of it unfortunately. Basically lost a good 1 hours pay on a dry focaccia. Thought I atleast might be copping some beluga caviar and a whole lobster, but that was not the case.

This café has deceiving looks. It looks like a posh function venue situated in synergy parklands on top of a hill with a nice view but is visited by patrons in gym gear(even form hugging cycling outfitted men, badly worn legginged females) families and couples. You queue to pay. You get a buzzer(well hello mess dining), pick up your own order, cutlery, water and condiments. There is no table service. It is pricey too. I went here on a Saturday morning at 9am after an hour long walk with intermittent bursts of heavy rain and my first attempt at jacobs ladder(woohoo) and it was completely booked. I managed to secure a table for two for 9.30. I ordered the quinoa brekkie bowl with rocket, goat’s cheese and poached eggs. My friend ordered the zucchini gruyère fritters with smoked salmon. The serving sizes are good. The coffee is dimmatina coffee but 5.30 for a large is ummm way too much. The quinoa brekkie bowl was bland but the goat’s cheese was delish. My friend enjoyed her zucchini fritters. I though they were average. Could have been slightly crispy. :) The cake display looks amazing. Have to go back for coffee and cake. Mmmm.

You know what, you live in an amazing city and spend your whole life going past a wildlife sanctuary with big parkland and then all of a sudden, someone that hasn’t lived in Perth says, «Let’s go to Zamia Café». And you have an epiphany. Amazing place, sweeping green vistas. fun and wholesome food, massive walks, DIY service, a swath of yuppies saying nothing but sucking up atmosphere with no other mission but to enjoy life and be a part of it. Great breakfast choices and I loved the freshly squeezed juice. Staff were brilliant from the kitchen though to floor staff. Well done Zamia, you scored a goal. I’ll be back for sure.

An early breakfast visit proved to be a good call this sunny Saturday autumn morning. The expansive(and a tad expensive) breakfast menu and decent kids menu provided enough choice for everyone. My fave was the quinoa salad topped with perfectly poached eggs and asparagus. Kids pancakes were picture perfect, but got very tough when cool. Bacon was standard quality(not the deliciousness that is Elmar’s bacon at Architects and Heroes) but well cooked. By 9am tables were nearly full and the line to order was long. Lesson: book a table and get there early!

From the other reviews I was looking forward to trying out this place while down at kings park. The café has a nice set up and lovely views of Snergy park but the prices were so expensive! I didn’t want to spend a lot on lunch and felt very restricted here as even the rolls were expensive. It was also REALLY busy so I had a hard time finding a table. But in saying that I ordered a muffin and a fresh juice and they were both delicious!

Zamia café located at Synergy Parklands has amazing views, good food, great coffee and juices. I really enjoy the freshly made fruit juices and the variety on their menu. From healthy muesli to fish and chips they are pretty consistent with the quality of the food and always something new on the ‘special of the day’. Although not a cheap place to eat but if the food is good with great views and friendly staff I have no complains.

Yes, I couldn’t agree more. This is a top-notch restaurant with friendly and helpful waiters and chefs and a barista who are on top of their game. It is not cheap but is very reasonably priced and excellent value. My wife and I often have lunch there and, usually, settle for the quiche of the day with salad. The guy who said«real men don’t eat quiche» should give this a try and if that isn’t enough there is a mouthwatering display of cakes and pastries to top up with.

I haven’t been to Kings Park for years, but was really impressed with the new layout and road improvements. What better place to spend a beautiful Spring day, lunching at Zamia Café. Great menu choice and excellent staff. Can’t wait to go back.

I’ve been missing out the past five months! Being a short walk from my house, pram friendly, and located in the beautiful King’s Park, Zamia has it all for me! Plus, their menu provides a great variety in choice of food and everything I have tried has been 100% fantastic! No complaints.

I’m a BIG fan of cafes in Parklands at the best of times– but Zamia goes above and beyond the pop up ice cream shop. Situated in the beautiful Kings Park(where I would recommend to anyone who is up for getting lost for a day), Zamia is an absolute delight. It’s vibrant yellow walls are a good indication of the good vibes and healthy(as well as wealthy) treats inside.(I am refering to their rich selection of cakes, tarts, chocloates and other rich temptations!) This café overlooks the gardens, with interactive sculptures and a pond w a small water feature too!(Hooray for conveniently places bathroom facilities) While it’s close enough to the fun, it’s also far enough away from the squeals of excitement– thus making it the perfect«look out» for parents who want to regain a slice of tranquility on a family outing! With a range of convenient snacks and usual café goodies, the culinary highlight for me was the creative selection of healthy options– the fruit slushies were my personal favourite! As ths café has well and truly stepped up to the gormet side of things you can expect to pay anywhere around the $ 10-$ 25 mark for a meal.(brekky is served until 11:30am) There is a kids menu(for those of us who enjoy a tasteful bargain) and the ploughmans sandwiches are top notch! From a family picnic to a semi formal luncheon Zamia caters for all. Opening hours are Mon-Fri 8: am-4:30pm and Sat and Sunday(when the park comes alive as the hot spot for families) 8: am-5:pm. Hours are dependant on weather so a good idea to call ahead if you’re unsure and you’re heart is set on a rainy day café experience.
