Its an op shop, that means you never know what kind of treasures you’ll find in there. On this visit I got a nifty jug and pewter ware for use in medeval reenactment. There were a few bigger things I’d have got if I lived local but I don’t so I left them for some other treasure hunter to find.

The Sacred Heart Mission Op Shops are always really good. I like to shop here for odds and ends, sometimes clothes. They have events on where they bring in a band or have a fashion show fundraiser to bring in more money for the Mission. This money goes to feeding 400+ homeless people a day which I think is awesome.

They’ve done it again! I have found some great items at this Op Shop where similar to the Glenhuntly Sacred Heart shop, it seems to filter out all the junk and be a good quality store. There’s a really good section of kitchenware where I’ve also found microwaves, CD players, heaters and speakers that all work perfectly.
They also have a good clothing section where you can be very lucky and find some big brands for extremely cheap where I always walk out feeling like I’ve stolen something. It’s constantly busy and some of the items can be such «hot property» that it gets a little competitive where if you like it, you grab it, otherwise it’s gone!
In amongst a few other Op Shops close by, the Sacred Heart store always seems to stand out in my mind. You never know what you might find!
