I’ve been coming here for years for waxing and facials. I’m very happy with both services. The ladies are always friendly and attentive and do a great job. Prices are reasonable and the location can’t be beat!

I visited this salon after viewing the previous Unilocal review, and as a university girl I am always looking for good service at an affordable price. I am very used to visiting high priced salons and after explaining what I want, ending up with a haircut & colour that I am only slightly satisfied with for sometimes upwards of $ 200.
This salon is definitely a hidden gem! The location downtown is very easy to get to by train and although the parking isn’t free it is well worth it for the service and quality at this salon.
I received exactly what I asked for with amazingly friendly service in a unique environment at a very reasonable price. Additionally, they suggested I get my eyebrows waxed and tinted to match the dark colour of my hair. I have never done either of these things (I was always a tweezer/​brow pencil girl) but now I can’t go without it!
I have been back to this salon at least 5 times and plan on continuing to come here for my hair needs indefinitely!

I had been thru many reviews on hair salons in calgary and decided to go to ginger group but couldnt get the time slot i needed. So decided to visit amici hair studio which is near to my place. This is my 4^th salon that I visited in calgary for a hair cut and I can say it was the best of those I have visited till now. The hair stylist was Geri. He was very good at hair cut. He asks what you want and explains how he gonna do it. And the price was pretty reasonable: 25 $ for hair cut + hair wash. But the only annoying thing was I had to phone this place a couple of times to get answered and fix an appointment. But the hair cut was worth ringing a couple of times.
I had been to salons where I was charged $ 35 to $ 50 but this salon was cheaper with a good output.
