Popped into this place before going into Community Foods next door. It a tiny bakery, and since we went in on a Saturday afternoon, a lot of the goods were snatched up. My friend bought a shiny hot dog bun looking pastry with peanut butter buttercream filling. It was slightly sweeter than a regular hot dog bun, and I found the buttercream only slightly tasted like PB. Not my favourite, and the shiny outside threw me off a bit. The cinnamon twists more than made up for it. They arent your average cinnamon twists. They were more like a Stampede MiniDonut, formed into a twist shape. DELICIOUS… greasy like Chinese food, with a hint of cinnamon&sugar. Almost more savoury than sweet in fact. My friend didnt want his $ 1 in change, so in exchange the man at the counter gave him a round bun. Had no idea what it was but it was also delicious; I like how the few items we tried here werent overly sweet. I cant say Im a fan of more traditional items that include red or mung beans, or their buttercream, but I’ll definately try this place again to see what baked goods they offer.

Great little find! Korean Bakery has lots of Asian baked goods — beautiful decorated cakes of different sizes and types, bread, sweet buns like green bean, red bean, custard and one other that I really, really like is the croquette, a savoury bun. The sweet buns aren’t really sweet and I like it like that! Accepts credit cards with purchases over $ 10. Also sells Foothills Creamery Icecream.
