My partner and I go here from time to time, only because it’s so close to home, and the staff are awesome(Personally never had an issue with any of them). They’re always smiling and happy to help, although the service is a bit on the slower side, even when it’s not too busy. It’s priced a bit higher than I’d like, but there’s a good selection of items to choose from. The food is decent, and the décor is quite nice.

Had a great experience with my family dining here. Everything we tried was very well cooked. The All day breakfast bowl was great with buttery Sourdough bread yumm! Only thing is that the strawberries margarita was way too sweet… but nothing to complain.

This is one of the newer Ricky’s on Lougheed highway, a long block away from IKEA. Had the grilled salmon plate and it took over 40 minutes. The staff were inattentive and the waitress we had didn’t seem To want to be at work Today. After we got our meals, she left us unattended from what appeared to be a long«smoke break». The salmon was fine but the rice was stale. It was nothing memorable to return to in the sea of ABC’s, White Spots, Cactus Club and tons of other lunch spots in Coquitlam. We were eager to get out of there the minute we finished.

Ricky’s all day grill is a casual breakfast themed family restaurant, they are well known for their breakfasts and comfortable atmosphere. But this Ricky’s is trying way too hard. The restaurant has been remodeled to look like a Moxies/Earls/Cactus Club lounge and so has the menu. Their menu no longer has silly items, its sleek and sexy which is not what I remember Ricky’s being. They have since stopped serving their entire breakfast menu past breakfast hours and its name betrays the customer. They had Four breakfast items purchasable at dinner time which greatly disappointed me as I went there hoping for waffles. I decided I would order chicken strips as they’re my ‘go to no one can screw this up’ dish of choice, man was I wrong. The strips were overcooked and somewhat chewy and the fries were very crunchy, like they had been left in for a few extra minutes. Our server was very pleasant but her English wasn’t top notch. I asked what kind of pop they had and she told me Soda-Cranberry and the ‘coke line’ while making a box shaped gesture with her hands. After rephrasing the question a few times, she managed to list the pop choices. TLDR: They are no longer an all day breakfast restaurant, they have reinvented themselves to compete with Moxies/Earls/Cactus Club/Any lounge restaurant.

We went to this place just because we always passed it whenever we go to Ikea, and we just decided hey why not try this place out. The ambience is more like casual. The décor is more like formal. We ordered their Salt & Pepper Calamari for starter for $ 9.99 The portion wasn’t that big, and we weren’t impressed by that. For a starter, it should’ve been more, especially everyone has to share it. Their Atomic Onion Ring Burger was really good. It doesn’t have any vegetables in it, though. It only has bbq sauce some sautéed onions and one friend onion rings. I think it should at least have some cheese or something to make it complete. Overall, it was a fun experience. They have lots of grilled food, pastas, salads, starters to choose from. Will definitely come back here again.

My business partner and I go here all the time. The food is always great and the service is good. The owner always makes an effort to come and say hello which goes a long way. The establishment is new and is well looked after. Always lots of parking but it is a little tricky to get into. I’ve never been a big Ricky’s fan but this location has turned that around 180 degrees. I will continue to visit !

So, I stumbled into Ricky’s because I wasn’t feeling like Ikea food. It’s a new location is very bright, clean, and spacious. There are tv screens everywhere so I could catch the Olympics. The dining room was organized really well, making your dining experience feel more intimate. The hostess seemed a bit hesitant but the servers were excellent. The service was efficient, friendly, and accommodating. The food was also pretty good as well. The burgers are fairly big and comes with a choice side salad or fries. Cesar salad, soup, or yam fries are extra. If you don’t want to splurge, the side salad isn’t bad at all. Instead of your standard iceburg lettuce with chunks of tomato, it was a nice mixture of field greens, radishes, carrots and cucumbers. It’s super refreshing. The fries were pretty delicious too. There is a lot of variety of breakfast, lunch, and diner. The meals were cooked and presented well. It was a solid experience. :) Tip: Very children friendly. Kids were running all over the place(but controlled, thank goodness!). There’s a special children’s menu and a «treasure chest» where kids can pick out a treat at the end. They also get crayons and a colouring book.
