There are two fantastic reasons to come to Beaden. FIRST: If you make your own jewelry, this place has an incredible variety of wood, glass, metal and troll beads along with wire, chain and all kinds of materials to make your creation come to fruition. SECOND: Local artists sell their creations here as well, and they are stunningly fresh and awesome. You come here when you want to give or own something that qualifies as ART… something that no one else in the world has. And it’s still reasonably priced. For example: Today I bought my friend a necklace made from a real maple leaf. The genius behind this artwork takes REAL foliage, and dips them in metal. I don’t know how she does it exactly. I just know the end result is a shining metal leaf with all its original nature and form intact, like a fingerprint. And I think $ 45 was a fair price for it. Trust me on this. If you, or someone you know likes UNIQUE jewelry, this is the place to go. I ADORE it. If anyone is at a loss what to get ME for Christmas, just come here and buy me anything. Seriously.

I have some great memories of this place back when it was Garden of Beaden and not just Beaden of coming in to shop with my mother as a little girl and coming in with my cousin as a teen to pick out beads for a friendship bracelet. Today my cousin and I got together and decided to relive our happy memories and come in for another friendship bracelet and oh my goodness how this place has changed… for the better! There is an extensive range of beads in all different colors and materials including glass, wood, bone, and plastic just to name a few. They also offer many different types of chains and cords for you to string your creations on. Depending on your bead preference you can expect to pay anywhere from twenty five cents to ten dollars so be careful and read the stickers on the trays very carefully or your purchase can add up in a hurry! The ladies working there are lovely people and really know their craft. I needed help getting the clasps on at the ends and the lady got it on for me lightning fast and appeared to have no issues wrestling with the little metal loops. If jewellery making isn’t your thing but you still want to enjoy the beautiful wares of Beaden they also offer pre made pieces. Besides our friendship bracelets we also bought Harry Potter inspired bracelets with golden snitch charms on them. It was another great day to add to my collection of great memories and I hope that any of you who happen to stroll into Beaden get the opportunity to make some of your own.

Was in here to buy some chain for a few projects, and found an excellent selection. While the helpful clerk was cutting the chain out I looked around at what else there was and found a lot of stuff at standard prices. Overall I can see myself back here again but mostly for the chain selection

If you are into jewelry and if you are into crafts, this is the place for you. These guys sell beads out the yin yang! They have every kind of bead you could possibly want. I don’t usually shop for beads so I don’t much to compare it to but this definitely seems like the place to go. The staff obviously fit the profile. They know a lot about beads, jewelry, and crafts and they seem to enjoy it all, at least the ones I’ve met. Beads beads and more beads. If you need a bead, the Garden of Beaden is you best bet!

I can’t stay away from anything shiny, sparkly or fun, so the Garden of Beaden always draws me in. I’ve been doing crafts since I can remember and beading has been one of my favourite craft projects. The first time I went to Garden of Beaden was way back in college when hemp necklaces(yes, aging myself in the grunge days) were so in. Today I go for the unique beads and supplies I can’t find anywhere else. I’m kind of obsessed with Troll Beads now. They’re so interesting and yes, shiny and colourful and yes, they have a nice selection of them. They also carry your basic glass, wood, plastic and clay beads as well as the necessary stringing mediums(hemp, leather, plastic, fabric, wire, etc.) and everything you need to make jewelry. As well, they have pewter charms and other supplies you may need for whatever beading project you have. Their prices are a bit on the high side, but after all it’s a specialty shop. If you’re looking for better prices try the large craft supply box stores.

This is a really cute place if you like jewelry. You can find some really great and unique pieces or you can great your own great and unique pieces. If you like jewelry then you’ll love this place. I found some really nice sterling sliver pieces at a pretty decent price. I picked up a really great, plain looking sterling sliver bracelet with a single black bead or stone wrapped in another piece of sliver. It’s a really great piece that I haven’t seen at any other place. They also had some good-looking sterling sliver rings but they were a little more expensive than the $ 20 bracelet that I picked up. I’m on a budget, so that means I’ll have to wait to pick up some other pieces from their store. They have these really cute flower shaped rings that I really want to pick up next time I go in! They look very different and classy. Oh, if you are looking for some bone or wood carved earrings you can find them here; they also have stretchers. They have a pretty big selection to choose from, one of the bigger selections that I’ve seen so far. They have some unique looking designs. They also have some really great necklaces that have the carved bone or wood designs. I really liked a lot of them, stupid budget! There is a lot to look at in this store, so I suggest you take your time and find something that calls your name. The bracelet I found called my name and when I asked the really friendly and sweet girl behind the counter if I could take a closer look at it I didn’t think it would actually fit. She was nice enough to help me put it on and it was a perfect fit. She cut the tag off and I wore it out of the store, after paying for it of course. This is one of my new favorite places to come to when I desire some new pieces of unique jewelry at fits my style. This place is a piece of paradise.

Garden of Beaden is great if you are an arts and crafts type of person. They have everything you need beads related. Whether you want to make a necklace or bracelet they will have stuff that appeals to you. Depending on what you want to make it can cost anywhere from $ 5 to $ 30. Other than beads you can also find many different pendants here but none of them really interest me. it’s a great place for creative people.

In this bead-lovers’ oasis you can not only feast your eyes on beautiful jewelry but you can buy all of the elements for making your own. I have spent hours at Garden of Beaden sifting through beautiful beads made of glass, metal, femo, wood and even bone to later take home and design original pieces. You can look at what jewelry is on display to get some idea of what’s trendy now, and the sales people are very helpful with giving suggestions on bead combos and jewelry-making basics. I just wish this shop was a little bigger. You kind of have to hover over the dishes of beads. It would be great if there was a space for a table or stools so you could get comfortable while you get creative. If you’re not crafty, but to wear jewelry, there’s a great selection of wood and bone earrings, glass pendant and hemp necklaces, rings and other things to adorn yourself with.

I am an avid maker of jewelry, and Garden of Beaden is one of my favourite destinations for supplies and ideas. I purchase cords, loose beads, and findings such as clasps and hooks. Garden of Beaden also has an excellent selection of charms, from religious symbols to ones that are fun and quirky. I making necklaces yourself is not your thing, there is a pretty decent selection of pre-made pieces from which to choose. An average price for a choker is around $ 15. The beads here are made from glass, pewter, wood, fimo, and bone. If you are into hemp necklaces, you can find everything you need here as well. Findings for making bracelets and earrings are also carried at Garden of Beaden.

This is a unique shop of beads, pendants, hemp and other jewelery making mediums such as Fimo clay. This started out as a tiny little kiosk business in West Edmonton Mall and has since evolved into its own store near the Pirate Ship on the main level. Many of the pendants are made off-site out of pewter. They have a unique, diverse selection of items available. The store is a great resource for creating hemp jewelery or just a unique necklace.
