The décor of the restaurant is very girly(pink chairs, hello kitty cups and bowls, etc). The service was really good, the waitresses are super friendly! There’s a good amount of options for food and drinks. The portion is also huge. Overall I liked my experience here. The menu can be redesigned but that’s a personal opinion. But nonetheless I will be back!

The other reviewers aren’t kidding about the portion sizes. Some of the biggest bowls and servings I’ve seen in Vancouver/Richmond for a while. All at reasonable prices. Quality-wise, I thought it was just ok. Meat was too salty, soup was too sweet, noodles were alright. Veggies were done well. They have a lot of specials during happy hour and late night. Probably best to go with those. OMG, I hated the music. They were playing taiwanese oldies and the senior on the next table was warbling off tune and happily to the songs. At least he enjoyed it.

This is my new place that has opened up and the tradable restaurant scene in Richmond. It is definitely targeted for the youth and young adults base upon the Decour and the lighting style in the restaurant. It is not overly large but the food is good and the prices are reasonable. The service however is rather mediocre one of their better faxes that they do know how to speak English as well as Mandren so it is not limited to who can come there. My biggest complaint for this location would be the portion sizes. Now usually when people mention that say it is because the portions are too small for the price you’re paying but this time it is the exact opposite you actually get really too much food especially if you get the hotplate skillet option. So if you want something like that make sure you come here when you are very hungry.

Came here for a late night snack with some friends. Don’t know what the obsession is with hello kitty and pink, but all our tea cups were hello kitty. After 9pm, half price drinks(bubble tea, slush, smoothies) and $ 3 snack menu on appies. Decided to order their Taiwanese beef noodle soup. It was huge! For $ 8.75, it was a great deal. Flavor of the soup was good as well as the beef chunks. Would come back again.

Another new BBT shop in Richmond, it located on No.3 Road and Cook Rd. When we walked in to Chamonix on Friday noon, they only had 2 tables customer. After we got tea served and ordered, we checking around the interior. It’s quite modern and stylish. The menu selection was great, they serve a wide variety of Taiwanese food — hot pot, noodles soup, fried rice, other set dishes and etc. Double cooked spicy pork combo set — It’s good and spicy. Perfect combo set! Beef brisket noodles — 2 – 3 big pieces of beef brisket in huge bowl of noodle soup. Good to share for small eater. Chili Wonton — Big bowl of wontons and tasty. Chicken Nuggets — It’s not juicy but size good for 4 people. Overall, the foods were ok. Quantity over quality, so probably they can survive in Richmond.
