Awesome food especially patty melt fries burgers and coleslaw. All servers are great Amy is our favorite. So better than whitespot and prices are great. I never feel sick afterwards and thats a plus. The plain apple pie with no ice cream or caramel sauce is good too share. But we never have room left. Drink specials Sat night 3.99 for a margarita awesome awesome good size perfect taste.

Every sunday they have a brunch $ 20 the selection of foodd are awesome american food. decors are kinda vintage with dark color chairs and wooden color tables cool and calm on eyes… accept card and cash… wash room is immaculately clean… not a bad place to load lotza egg, toast, bacon, sausages, corned beef and fresh coffee… its my third time to this place and not a single regret… will visit again soon wanna try dinner…

Well, my first and maybe last time here. Ordered the all day breakfast, came with bacon that was very tough and a chore to chew, as well as an orange slice with a black hair on it.(not mine I’m bald).the food came out so fast that I had visions of a cook pumping it out so fast that he/she’s quality control was not a high priority? Plus for the higher price, it it just didn’t taste that good. :-( More along the lines of a cheap $ 5 greasy experience than the $ 12 they charge. This based on my one experience. On the plus side, they only ended up charging me for my coffee, so the waitress did actually care. She got a nice tip. :-)

OMG I love this place for all the wrong reasons I shouldn’t be loving this place. It is close to the studio, therefore, after long late set days when I am not in the mood for craft services I have come here since it is 24 hours. It’s a cross between diner and family dining but at the end of the day, it is a diner food. Trust me when I say that after the 2 am mark… you stop being picky about your options. I love to get the nachos to share. Prices are very decent for what they are and the place is laid out nicely. Needs un update though. Customer service has been hit and miss.

The steak(med rare) was prepared just right. The hash browns were so good. And my sunny side up eggs were done perfectly not slime and not rubbery. To top that off, menu said $ 14.99. But my bill came to me and the steak and eggs were on special $ 12.99. Friendly service. My hot chocolate was delicious. I wish it was bigger though. Odd thing was that I was hoping to get chicken and waffles. I can’t seem to find them anywhere. But when I got the menu, there was no waffles on the breakfast menu. Ok fast forward… I order my meal(see above). While I am waiting, I notice a sign on the table and its a picture of waffles. My only WTF moment because I would have added waffles to my order and had STEAKANDWAFFLES. Knight and day should really put everything they have on their menu

It’s pretty empty at 3am, but the staff are always working hard and have been providing great service to my friends and I the last few times we were there. Food portions and sizing is perfect. I don’t think I’ve ever left hungry. It gets pretty shady outside, though, and they get quite a few sex trade workers and obnoxious thugs coming in to eat that time of night, but that’s no fault of the restaurant. Just the area, I suppose.

Decent 24 hr restaurant. When there is nothing open, and you want some food, this is a good place to go. Clean and quite environment. Great for groups. Lots of parking spots. Also their servers are very friendly even its late at night.

Nothing special, but its a decent place to go when nothing else is open late at night/early morning.

So it’s Christmas Day and nothing is open. Luckily K&D is open(since 9am!) anyhow arriving at ten my boyfriend and I easily found one of maybe 10 parking spots remaining in the pretty full lot. Seated quickly, their staff is otherwise mostly absent unfortunately. I snagged two not yet used empty coffee cup & saucers seeing a staff member wander nearby with a coffee pot however unfortunately she about faced and wandered away before getting close enough to our table. No matter. So the choice given when you’re seated is whether you want buffet or a menu — we chose the menu while not yet knowing anything about the buffet. No one to ask and not seeing it posted anywhere I called the restaurant to ask and was told about $ 26 for the all-you-can-eat buffet. Yeah too much. A few minutes still later a blood red manicured waitress came by with two glasses of ice water. We ordered coffee and were given a bit more time to decide. I chose the double double(2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage) and my boyfriend chose the Truckers Breakfast(3 pancakes, sausage, bacon, toast, hash-browns). Food was the right temperature but the eggs(egg whites only due to yoke allergy) that came with my dish were one side overcooked and one side slimy. Yeah gross. Otherwise everything was fantastic. Pancakes fluffy but not quite as buttery as I’ve had elsewhere but certainly yummy. Yay

I expected a decent meal but I got a horrible meal. The coffee had spoiled milk in it and the eggs Benedict was way over cooked. Don’t go here if you want an enjoyable meal.

Never again. I used to go to the location on Kingsway and it was always good about ten years ago. This one though? Awful. It took close to an hour for us to get one bowl of soup and one burger. The soup was disgusting. It was supposed to be broccoli cheddar soup but it was more like a bowl of thick, scalding hot cheese sauce with a few chunks of broccoli. Now in theory that could be good but it wasn’t. It was thick and lumpy and gross. No more.

Ordered my fave breakfast, eggs Benedict, and was greatly disappointed. It was made with sandwich meat, hash browns were soggy and gross. Won’t be coming back. Also noticed people at the buffet making weird faces when they sipped the juice, as if it had gone bad. That’s just wrong!

I came to Knight & Day with low expectations, trying to seek out a fast and cheap breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of both the food and the service! I ordered your typical bacon & eggs — pretty hard to screw that up, I’ll admit. Fast friendly service, and the breakfast was just what I wanted. I came back a few days later for lunch, and was once again pleased. Ordered a patty melt, and it was delicious :) It’s your typical diner in terms of décor — circa mid-1980’s, you can tell people used to smoke in there. Even so, it’s very clean and tidy(the owners clearly care about the restaurant). For those of you that like lasagna at 9am or pancakes at midnight, I’ve got good news! They’re open 24 hours, and you can order anything off the menu at anytime of day. I’ve found my new go-to breakfast place!

As regular customers of Knight and Day, my boyfriend and I were really surprised to have the one of the worst meals I have ever had, today at your Boundary and Lougheed location in Vancouver. I regularly get the turkey dinner and he gets a chicken sandwich or lasagna. Today I was saddened to see that not only was my turkey dinner off the menu, it was on a «special» menu for an additional $ 10 in price. This included soup and pumpkin pie. I asked our server if i could just order the turkey dinner but her manager said no, as this was a head office decision. After much thought and considering where closeby we could eat otherwise, we decided to stay and pay the additional fee, despite the fact that I did not want the extra items. Huge mistake. The«harvest vegetable» soup was flavorless tomato with frozen bagged square carrots, peas, and beans in it… horribly bland. I had a few spoonfuls and didn’t eat the rest. Our cheese sticks arrived and were the hilight of our meal. Our dinners arrived, my turkey dinner and my boyfriends southwest chicken philly. His sandwich was extremely bland and dripping with grease, so much in fact that when he picked it up to bite it, many of the contents slipped out. He did not finish his meal. My normally delicious turkey dinner fell victim to the mass production of the holidays. My steamed veggies were cold and tasted like they were nearly rotten with a slimy feel to them… I left them on the plate. The mashed potatoes were fine but the gravy was lacking its normally great flavor. My turkey was mediocre and tough smothered in the bland gravy. The stuffing was the biggest disappointment of all… almost a bright yellow in color(clearly from the excessive number of chicken bouillon cubes used in making them) they were disgustingly salty and tasted like, surprise surprise, chicken bouillon cubes. No amount of salt, pepper, or cranberry sauce could have saved this meal. Finished with a slice of boring gelatinous pumpkin pie… the textural equivalent to pudding on a crust. Not our server nor the man we paid at the counter asked why we didn’t finish our food or how everything was. Not wanting to make a scene in the restaurant(it was busy), I asked the man at the counter for the managers number, he gave it to me, we paid and left. Within a few minutes I called and spoke to the manager. Guess what, he knew who we were, he is the one who gave me his number. I explained our situation and was handed a string of pretty unacceptable comments regarding my feedback… «Well I have been feeding people that turkey dinner all weekend and no one has complained» «The table of 6 behind you ordered the same thing and they took leftovers home so clearly they enjoyed it» «This is really something you should have brought up while you were here, there is very little I can do after you leave» To say I am disappointed is a gross understatement. I am currently awaiting a phone call from the store owner as he is the only one who can issue a refund after an order has been rung in. I have no idea if he will blow me off just like the manager has thus far. How is a customer supposed to give honest feedback when their meal is terrible if they just get told excuses for why my complaint would be invalid.

I was very pleasantly surprised with Knight and Day. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much — I had wanted to go to Bön’s Off Broadway but the line was too long, so craving my dirty breakfast, I pulled into the Knight and Day parking lot. The service was prompt and super friendly, the food came out fast and fresh tasting and the portions were huge. Not as cheap as Bön’s, but what is? Haha, I would definately go back.

Traditional diner food. For years my daughter and I have gone post, «Sun Run» for benny. Last year decided to go, «Upscale» at Milestones Yaletown. No lie it took over 90 minutes to get food, it arrived cold, the portions were small and there was a strange sauce on top of the potatoes(stick it on the side so people can decide if they want to use it!). This year my daughter begged to go back to Knight and Day. Food arrived fast, it was good and the waitress was great. End of story.

One of the better places for French Toast, at least comes with sprinkled powdered sugar, unlike white spot. Much thicker bread too. Pretty good selection of desserts too, similar to Dennys. It ain’t gourmet or right from the bakery, but late nite, who cares lol. parking is hit and miss even with its huge lot. definitely during brunch on sundays. Great place though to drop by with the boys after hockey late at night lol. Also a good buffet too.

Drunk, after clubbing, tired, smell like cigarettes, around 4:00am in the morning, and extremely hungry? Knight and Day will solve ALL of that. I live so close by to this place, me and my friends always come here post clubbing, due to the fact that we all live within the same area… The only thing about this place is that their food quality is not that great. I mean, people come here MOST of the time after having a night of adventure, and about to head home, not with an empty stomach and just want grub. I literally had to douse the soup with Tabasco sauce to make it even edible. I am happy as this place, you just walk in and sit, and then the lady comes ask, and then food arrives in less than 5 minutes and then you are out the door in less than 50 minutes. It’s even faster than a McDonalds across the street… LOL. What ever, pasta, and soup and salad. Goes in, comes out brown. Not going to care much especially if you are drunk, and just want food. Eat and go home and sleep. Quality is meh, service is fast, satisfies me in the middle of the night. Wow, I think I just stated what I want when I wanna hook-up LOL. Oh what ever. This place has the balls to open 24/7, I wouldn’t mind a place like that all the time. We need more of that.

Knight & Day is like NeverNever Land. Never have to wait for a seat. Never have to wait for friendly service. Never have to wait long for food — Holy Cow! talk about fast. Did I enter a time warp? Wait ! Thats’ Never Never Never Land. Food is plentiful and tasty — sure to find something here to fill your stomach. Or to overfill it. A-OK.
