Postnet Print & Business Centre

I was thoroughly pleased with getting (Canadian) passport photos from PostNet. They were practised, efficient, fast, and at about $ 15 for the pair, quite reasonably priced. Also, I love the friendly, slightly cluttered feel of the place. A lovable dog behind the counter charms all visitors. From what I saw, they have a lot of packing, shipping, and mail box services on offer too.

Fantastic service. Did a last minute print job by email from my phone, followed instructions perfectly, delivered on time and at a fair price. I’ll be back.

Went there to print a design project, it was supposed to be a bleed brochure… The staff told me that my size was wrong so I told him the size is slightly bigger than letter size so it should be bleed out of page, but he kept telling me that the size of my project is too big…
The thing is that if my size is too big then why there are gaps around the page??? And even worse, the text around the edges were cut off as well… The print should be go off the page (cause the bleed.) I didn’t want to start an argument so I told him to switch to a bigger size paper, and just crop off the gaps, then he said” If you wanna do so, you have to come back tomorrow, all I can do is to shrink it down.“
I guess he just doesn’t understand what «bleed» means???
And it cost me more than $ 4 for 2 double sided prints on glossy paper… seriously?
I don’t think I will ever come back again.

I went here to get passport photos, which they advertised. I got there and they told me they couldn’t do ours because they weren’t «professionally trained» and only had a «standard camera». The woman then referred me to another place… that also didn’t take passport photos. Don’t advertise passport photos if you can’t take them.

This Purolator location is staffed by a bunch of brain dead monkeys who don’t know a thing about doing business or of customer service. If they didn’t have my warranty — returned tablet I would say forget it and have the package returned to the original company.
I have so far tried to get my package, but according to «policy» they won’t release it to me despite giving my drivers license care card home address birth date phone number Purolator slip name of the company sending the package…
Apparently I still haven’t proved myself yet.
Do you need me to provide a DNA sample too?
To Purolator: Figure out WHY you have policies in place, identify the various routes of getting to that purpose, and then provide some flexibility to your customers in getting there.

Good emergency quick stop if you’re in a bind to get something copied/​fax, or buy stamps/​envelopes, just the parking can be a hit and miss. Plus it’s preferable than the craziness at Staples at Royal Centre.
It’s rarely too busy so that’s why i like it.

I went to retreive my Iphone today at Purolator as shipped by Telus. There was no phone call due to Telus providing the wrong number, there was no notice left at my door informing me that purolator had been by to drop off my parcel. So not knowing that my parcel was in Vancouver ready for pick I looked online and was able to see that my package was available for pick up at 991 Hornby st. I went there and said my parcel is here for pick up. they looked at me and asked if they had called me, I said no. Well we always call, so you never got a call? I was like no. She asked for my last name, went to a computer, and came back to ask for my id, I gave it to her. She went looking around behind the desk, hopefully for my parcel while telling me that I should have gotten a phone call, and giving me the Impression that I am causing a hassle. The lady and the guy both asked how do you know that it’s even here because we usually call you? I said again, I did not receive a phone call and I know that it’s here because I traced it online, and then I called purolator who also told me over the phone that it’s here, and I seen online that the package was available for pickup at 4:30pm yesterday, so I know for sure that it’s here. They looked at me like I was an asshole, and the whole time I was polite, I smiled at them and treated them very respectfully. Then she found my package after she became un-​confused and said that they called me and couldn’t get ahold of me so it was ready to be sent back to Telus today. The whole time I was at purolator there was nothing but a hassle for me and confusion for them because of their disorganization and rudeness due to lack of customer service skills. This purolator/​fedex store was very hot, dirty and messy, smelled bad, and was disorganized, not to mention rude and difficult to have to deal with. Hey Purolator Peeps, if you don’t like your job, then go to University, earn a Masters Degree and get a job that you do like, and where you don’t have to deal with customers coming to pick up a parcel:)

Keith from Postnet on Hornby produced all of my marketing material for The Studio in such short notice and actually hand delivered them to me with a smile.
I’m getting brochures back tomorrow, I can’t wait to see them!

These guys (and girl!) always do such a great job when I need printing done. They are fast and efficient and are very reasonably priced. Good quality prints on good quality paper.
There is also an in-​house graphic designer Melissa who is very skilled and creative!
The only problem is that I live in Surrey and I can’t frequent there as much as I used to.

Great location, great service, great price. I needed to get colour copies done for my resume because I had an interview within the hour. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, and the quality of the paper and the printing for the price was great.
I would recommend them for any standard print job (I haven’t tried them for large custom orders as I have no need).
