Our host brought us here because we wanted a quick meal with a view and we got that and some. Good Fish Tacos for me and the view was really incredible with palm trees and beach. Heck our table was on the beach literally and it was absolutely gorgeous. They had those absolutely wonderful large rum drinks that you have to drink in the islands. All 3 of us drank a rum drink and really enjoyed our food. Service was even good although we heard it does not happen much in the islands. Out of our 5 nights in the Virgin Island I would say that this was probably the most appealing place we ate with good food and outstanding island ambiance.

Iggie’s is a solid institution here on island, definitely a decent place to grab a drink, get some fairly standard pub-fare food, and hang out next to the beach or play some volleyball or cornhole. I end up here on occasion, and its always a pretty-OK time. Nothing spectacular, but they do have a great venue with a nice beach and its a perfect place for the local Sport and Social league to have their games! Definitely a solid A-OK as far as ratings go. The times I have had their food, its been pretty good. I usually get appetizers here, like chicken tenders and fries, and I have to say they are always good. Their fries are especially good. My husband usually gets their spinach artichoke dip, and that is really tasty. Its served with chips, and I would definitely recommend it. They have a solid appetizer menu, and we have always had good food. One of the best things about Iggie’s is their grounds, which is perfect for volleyball courts beachside, cornhole, sitting around watching the water, listening to live music, and just chatting with friends. Its the perfect place to cater to large groups of people, as Iggie’s is very large and has ample parking which is a plus. Also next door is the Bolongo resort, so usually its a mix of people staying there, and locals. In summation, Iggie’s is a landmark here, and although I don’t come here regularly, when I do end up here I usually have a good time. Nothing spectacular, but it does deserve a visit if nothing else for some appetizers, relaxing in some chairs on the beach, and listening to music/playing some beach sports!

This place is great. The veggie burger is one of the best I’ve ever had. Amazing view, fun atmosphere. We left before the live band started but I could tell it would be a fun place to hang out at night. The service was a little on the slow side but everyone there was warm and welcoming.

Close your eyes and picture what you think a caribbean beach bar looks like. Now picture the place the locals hang out because the food is good and the price is right. Bam you’ve just pictured iggies. Right on the water with chairs almost in the water. Decent food with army that will please everyone. Kids and adults can find something to eat for sure. Prices are fair for what you get and you won’t leave feeling robbed. The service is always great and the staff is friendly and attentive. Great live music nightly with some really quality musicians entertaining you. Wanna try cornhole on the beach? Maybe a little beach volleyball? Well this place has it all and an awesome dive shop right next door. Come on Wednesday nights and see the Cruzan carnival night with moko jumbi’s performing and a fire show. Oh and that’s free! Get the sundae for dessert.

Doesn’t even deserve a star. No where it was displayed that the buffet was 38 per person for the buffet. We expected it to be no more than 20 – 25. For 2 drinks and 2 buffets it totaled 90. We were shocked and pissed off. We should have asked but a reasonable person would assume a lot less than 90 total. Server was sub par and the only benefit was the view and the music. If you come here and you aren’t prepared to pay a lot of money on the buffet only get drinks. Incredibly over priced for a pathetic excuse for a buffet. Not even good food.

Came for Cousin’s wedding, and this bar was the SPOT! Great reggae rock music(Rebelution /Iration etc) on speaker. Fun tree type ring toss game, and corn hole setup. We had no issues bringing our beverages onto the sand. A great time was had by all…

Great for the view and classic rum drinks. Don’t go for the food. Unless you’re drunk and need something to sop up the alcohol, then it’ll do.

One of the best outdoor bars in the world(and i am over 50). The service has been outstanding on every visit we have made there in our two years on island. Drink prices are inexpensive and the food(bar food) is reasonably priced(cheap if you compare to island establishments) The atmosphere is lively and fun. Volleyball being played every night, it seems they also have league nights for dodgeball and volleyball. Seems like there is always something going on, weddings, large events, Stoli bartender competition last weekend on the beach. Live music every night adds to the atmosphere. This is a really fun place. Reading the Unilocal reviews seem like they cater to complainers as opposed to Trip Advisor where it seems less complaining and more explaining. The difference between the two is very interesting to observe(not just for Iggie’s)

We had a fun vacation dinner here… not bad. The service was pleasant, but slow. Table was sticky when we sat down. It was cool to be outside, right near the beach – even considering the day’s rain that happened earlier. There was a live band playing country music, which provided a great vibe. Drinks were fine, food was fine – nothing stood out. If you’re going here, you’re probably here for the atmosphere and not the food… that being said – it’s a fun spot for a bar-type meal.

Average bar food. Not terrible, just not great. It’s right on the beach and there are lots of iguanas walking around. Cool. Bolongo Bay resort is right next to it. It seems to be full of 20 somethings getting drunk all day and playing cornhole. Not my scene but if you’re into that, then this would be fun for you. They have live music at night and a happy hour.

I’ve been here a few times. The music is fun and there’s usually a nice crowd. The food isn’t the greatest — it is generally salty and when I ordered a fish sandwich with mango salsa, I received the sandwich with no salsa. Also, I wouldn’t recommend getting a Bushwacker here. But it’s bar food, so not much was expected.

Love this place. Awesome beach atmosphere at night and the bartenders are pretty great. Love when love bands come and you can take your drink in hand and dance on the beach. Who doesn’t like that?!

Iggie’s Beach Bar and Grill is a fun spot in St. Thomas for drinks, games, and live music. My family and I stopped by Iggie’s for cocktails and beach games before dinner. Since we had dinner reservations elsewhere I cannot comment on the food, but our cocktails were great. We really enjoyed the laidback beach atmosphere on the water and had a blast challenging each other to corn toss and ring toss. I think we actually got better at the ring toss game after a few Coronas! Cruzan Carnival Night occurs every Wednesday from 6 to 10pm. The event includes a Caribbean buffet and entertainment(live Calypso music, fire walking, broken bottle dancing, and limbo). Local artisans sell their handmade crafts on the premises. The cost is $ 38 per adult and children under 12 are $ 15. TIP: The sand flies(aka: no-see-ems) were absolutely brutal. Cover yourself well in bug spray before you hit Iggie’s. Bug spray is also provided at the bar.

We stopped in after driving through Red Hook. It seems like many places are closed on Sundays and/or non-cruise liner days. The view is amazing. It looks like a really fun night spot. It’s part of the Bolongo Bay Beach resort. Service was good menu includes your standard frozen-then-cooked items such as chicken tenders or hamburgers. My husband had the French dip and said it was good. Overall, great spot where the breeze is incredible, the service is good, and the food really hits the spot. Try a Painkiller! They are SO delicious.
