These guys are sooooooo awesome!!! They installed new a/​c and heater for us a few months ago. It was a difficult install due to circumstances beyond their control but they did an amazing job. Everything worked perfectly until a bird somehow dropped a piece of fruit into our vent and it jacked up our heater. These guys came out on one hours notice and fixed it for free. Highly recommended recommend them!!! Amazing service!!!

Replaced furnace and AC. Moved thermostat and installed all new vents. Worked with us on financing, gave us a thorough and professional bid, installers were on time, friendly, worked hard, and made sure everything was in order before they left.

Heat wave has arrived in S. CA and I am sitting in my home relishing my new AC. Dominic was the salesman who took the time to help me make decisions regarding what system I would like. It was low pressure. They did not require my husband to take a day off work for the sales pitch. Adam G. led the crew who installed the new Furnace, ducts, and AC. They worked their tails off and finished the job in one day in order to accommodate my schedule. They cleaned up after themselves. I am very happy with my AC and hope to be just as happy with the furnace when the weather turns cold.

My A/​C is blowing warm air. The technician arrived and determined that we must have a freon leak but couldn’t determine where it is… he never bothered to check the coil in the attic which was very odd. He then recommended that I replace my entire system… a system that is 2.5 years old and still under warranty! If the leak is in the walls replacing the system will do nothing. I had another company come out and they determined the entire system is working but there is a leak. Once they determine where the leak is parts will be replaced under warranty. I would stay away from Associated Heating.

Our 18^th-​century AC unit finally started to die, so we contracted with this business through Costco. We couldn’t be more pleased. Shane and Mark went above and beyond simply installing by helping us improve the airflow around the house, relocating an electric plug, and so forth. They were knowledgeable, polite, and worked really hard. Being disabled by chronic illness, I have severe problems with the heat, so air-​conditioning isn’t just a comfort, it’s a necessity for me to function. Everything they did, including having the install go so smoothly despite taking longer than anticipated, was a huge benefit for me personally as well as the household.

Adam and Eric replaced our old HVAC system. They were clean, efficient and very trustworthy. Adam’s knowledge of systems is very apparent, and I would not hesitate to recommend him and Associated.

Just had a new A/​C system installed. Truly can’t say enough good things about the level of service and work ethic these gentlemen displayed. They arrived on time every day, worked non-​stop into the evening and the system is amazing. I highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed.

These guys were great! We needed a completely new system (A/​C, furnace, ducts, and relocation of furnace to attic) and were referred to them through costco. They did a stand up job really making sure I was very happy with everything along the way. I am a realtor and will definitely recommend these guys to my clients whenever there is a need.

Called these guys to inspect my HVA and give it a tune up (recently bought the place and the HVAC was original). They were able to come out the day I called to inspect and service it. The man who came was very knowledgable and was ok to work with my at home work schedule (conferencing with clients). He pointed out some of the same things the home inspector pointed out but he also opened up the units and showed where the years of damage had shown. He tuned it up but told me the system was on its final leg (30+ years old).
After some thing king I decided to replace my HVAC before it died. I called 5 places for estimates. 2 could not get out for 1.5+ weeks, one was going to charge, and one scheduled but canceled on me 10 minutes before my appointment. This company sent someone out the same day. Dominic was very knowledgable and expand the system I would need to best suit my unit. I had done my research and already knew what I was looking for. He did not try to upsell me and even found me a more reasonable unit with a better warranty than what I was originally looking at. There was no high pressure and I did not feel uncomfortable having him in my house. After the next estimate canceled and I did more research, I found that this was the standard price a little less than other places. Could I have gotten a better deal with other places, possibly; but the small places could not offer the warranty or the qualifications this place comes with. The next day I called back and Dominic was out to place my order.
Within 6 days my unit was ready to be installed. The team came out right on time and started the installation. They were very friendly and again, I did not feel creeped out having them in my house. They worked fast, it took them about 4ish hours to complete the installation. Once they were finished they took their time to show me the specs of my new unit. Before the left, I heard a strange noise and ran after them. They found that one of the vents was a little loose and due to the power of the new fan, it rattled. They tightened it and all was good.
So very happy with my purchase.

Adam and his team were terrific! They installed an HVAC and they did an outstanding Job. There were a few problems with the Unit but he acted very professional and returned the day they said they would. They corrected all the issues and went beyond their «call of duty». Everyone at Associated was great! I highly recommend them, especially Adam and his team (Shane and Mark).

Our a/​c went out the day after Memorial Day. The first placed I called could not get someone out until Friday. Then looking at the SCE website for rebates in case we needed a new a/​c, I found Asoociated was an authorized installer and therefore I could get an installation rebate if I used them.
I called Associated at about 5:00 that night. They apologized that they could not send someone that night but could the next day.
Thankfully we did not need a new a/​c unit but we did need a blower motor which would probably have to be special ordered and it would take at least a week. However they said that they would call around to try to find one. That was on Wednesday.
By Thursday afternoon they had found the part in Ontario.
The installation was done on Friday.
It turns out this was a very good thing because friends were throwing me a surprise party on Saturday which I did not know about.

I’ve only had good experiences with Associated Heating & Air. I’ve used them periodically for over 8 years for both my home and small business. From running new HVAC vents for a home addition, later upgrading our home HVAC system, to routine maintenance and repairs on a commercial unit, I’ve never had any problems. Always on time, professional and reasonably priced for us.

My experience was a good one.

My review is along the lines of those prior. We had two service calls – the first to diagnose a broken forced air heater, to which they installed a transformer but after installing it and putting on the thermostat it doesn’t work and only blows cold air. We asked a second time to come out to fix, and they proceeded to only charge us another $ 150 to diagnose but not to fix unless we called out for another service visit! Outrageous and poor, poor follow through on customer service. Buyer beware and get everything in writing.

Note to self… Read Unilocal reviews BEFORE choosing a company. We were referred to this company by neighbors who had a good experience and another who works for them. The guy who answered the phone was very nice and got us a tech out same day to fix our heater. I was informed that there would be a $ 90 minimum diagnostic fee. The tech arrived at 4:30 and was done by 6:30. Not super friendly, but was able to fix the heater. We hope it stays fixed after reading about the sub standard parts they install for people. He tried to sell us on the yearly maintenance program for $ 212 a year, they come out twice year etc. We told him not interested. So then he charged us $ 519 to replace a gas valve! The valve only costs $ 90. So if labor was charged at $ 80 an hour or even $ 125 an hour, and they marked up the valve 100%, it shouldn’t have cost us more than $ 340. He said if we paid up front for the yearly maintenance service he could give us 15% off the current order. He also wanted $ 98 to install a battery operated carbon monoxide detector. I truly felt taken advantage of. When I asked him why he was charging so much, he explained to me that the $ 90 diagnostic fee was added to the bill. Most companies waive that fee if they actually do work. This company is unethical and we will not use them again! RIP OFF!
Sooo… A few days later, I was so upset about the cost that I called them and told them. The service manager returned my call and come to find out he was the tech that worked on our home. I told him that I thought we were overcharged and that my husband did research online and saw that the cost to consumer should be around $ 380. I told him that it was unfair to charge a diagnosis fee on top of parts and labor. He said that the company decided years ago to do that. He asked me if I wanted him to come back to my house and take out the valve and have someone else do the work??? Would that make me happy? What? I said no. Having the $ 90 diagnostic fee removed would make me happy and that I would not put an additional bad review on Unilocal. He said he would check with his boss.
A woman called me and argued her cost and again asked if I would like the part taken out so that I could have someone else install it for less money. I said, NO. I have 3 small children one of which is 9 months old and I do not want to go without heat when it is 37 degrees outside. She said that they add the $ 90 diagnostic fee to the bill because they work with a lot of property management companies for whom they diagnose issues and the prop mgmt co hires their own handyman to do the work. So, Associated decided to charge a seperate diagnosis fee. I explained I was homeowner not a property management company. She then offered to take the valve out and I could have someone else put it in. I said that is the 4^th time someone from your comapny has offered that and I am not interested in having more work down on my home and being without heat, etc. She said she just wants to make me happy. I was then so upset that I told her the best way to make me happy was to stop calling me. She didn’t understand that her prices are extremely high and they are taking advantage of consumers by tacking on a diagnosis fee to a bill that already includes parts and labor!

This company did a decent job with the installation of the new HVAC system. However during the annual maintenance job, they had a substandard part installed. It was a filter that I found later after the installation to be not the correct manufacturer’s specified part. It was actually smaller in size which would have let unfiltered air through and could have contaminated the system over time. Also the cost of the incorrect filter was 45% more than what I had found on-​line for the correct part. In addition, they weren’t prepared to service the other components of my system; which were actually fairly easy do-​it yourself tasks.

I noticed the ONLY Unilocal review is horrible. NOT GOOD! I must say, I haven’t been real impressed with them either and I have no idea why I’ve hung on for so long… the length of time it took to get a call back from John was completely unacceptable and then when he did show up, he was NOT prepared AT ALL. He couldn’t even remember why he was there.
In this day and time, one can’t afford to supply this type of customer service or lack thereof. I have stuck with you guys for years but I think those days are numbered and many of my friends go to me for referrals for many things and when I refer, I like that extra attention given which you didn’t do that either.
BTW I wasn’t real happy with referring you to my friend in SJC… you charged her but really did nothing as far as offering her any advice or suggestions. She had to call in another company.

ASSSOCIATED HEATING COMPLAINT! Be wary of this company. They broke a water pipe in my attic.
DON’T TRUST THE PEOPLE WITH LESS THAN 10 REVIEWS!
The company overcharged for freon (check around to get a good price, as the cost varies widely). They also put in a sub-​standard part in my attic which led to $ 5,000 in water damage. They only re-​reimbursed me after I filed a small claims law suit and WON. Not a company I would do business with. I repeat: I WON A JUDGEMENT IN SMALL CLAIMS AGAINST THEM for an inadequate condensation line splice.
