What a horrible «business», and I use that term loosely. Do you like getting the straight-​to-​voice-​mail, red-​carpet experience? Do you enjoy never having a call returned from a company that you’ve already paid money to for the ONE AND ONLY SERVICE that they offer? Well then,
is the company for you!
I’ve been trying to book a service through my BuyWithMe (GiltCity) voucher for months and have been unable to. I submitted 3 online quotes, called about 100 times and left probably 5 voice mails, and even replied to their automated quoting system twice. I once even received an amazing deal from their quoting tool: «We are pleased to offer you a price of $ 0 (Web discount price of $ 0.0). …Please use the following confirmation link to hold your pickup by paying a $ 25 deposit or by paying in full»
WOW. What. A. Steal.

Just writing to update that I did make a complaint to the BBB about QuickLivery and I just received word back from the BBB that QL has declined to respond to my complaint, just as they have for the other complaints made through the bureau. Unilocal has not responded in any real way to my complaint that they were offering a Unilocal deal for this business, either. (Should Unilocal be helping to market 1-​star businesses?) Dealfind claims they’re giving me a credit back but their customer service is very slow and I haven’t heard from them in over a week.

Horrible horrible company. I agree with everything that has been said– my parents purchased a voucher from Deal Find and Quick Livery said they wouldn’t honor it, their reason being because too many people were using their vouchers and they weren’t making anymoney. What!!! They could pick them up at full price though… The car that picked them up was a piece of… Ah… Junk. Barely any room for two pieces of luggage.
They claimed they would honor the voucher upon the return trip… But guess what? They never showed. Yours truly answered the parents home phone when they called to say they would not be coming– at the exact moment that my parents flight landed. I could hear the surprise in this Sean’s voice when he heard a live human being, expecting to get voice mail and wussy out. Sean claimed that he didn’t have my parents cell phone… Sean claimed his car broke down. Sean also said that all the «other drivers» we’re on vacation. Sean said to call his boss «Warren». And why didn’t Sean call Warren when said car broke down, to let clients know in a timely manner? Pssst– here’s a secre Sherlock: there probably is no Warren. Ah, Nope, thank you.
Totally fakery. Boo on Quick Livery. Call Hub Limo– they rock and are completely professional.

What kind of company makes you call to reserve, then when you call tells you to go online to reserve, then call back, then when you call they say «Call back Monday»? etc, etc. Don’t even get me started on the extra charges. Don’t buy any voucher, listen to the other reviewers. This place is a sham. Zero stars.

Wish I could give less than one star! What a mistake to use this service! Run away! Similar to other reviews, they were late in picking me up. When the car arrived no way was it a «…clean, well maintained, high quality vehicle… Driven by a trained, educated and trustworthy Chauffeur»! The return trip was a disaster — after a long wait they sent a craptastic car — the trunk had to be opened with a screwdriver and it was filthy, broken-​down and smelled like cigarette smoke. I declined and ended up getting a cab from the stand.
Also, I want to state that this is basically the same review that I wrote a while ago in another, shorter thread. Glad that people have been writing about this here.

I should have also read these reviews before purchasing a dealfind deal for $ 29 for service from home to Logan Airport within a 30 mile radius. There is NO mention of any fees other than for tax, gratuity and outside the service area. After purchasing the dealfind, I called for my pickup (3 weeks away) from Framingham to Logan (under 30 miles). After going through the process, I confirmed with the driver, and he said «by the way, there is a $ 35 fuel assesment fee». I told him that the deal doesn’t mention any fuel fees. He tried to tell me that its the same if I took a taxi or rented a car. He also told me that the owner was going to change the wording of the deal. But that doesn’t count what was already in it and those who purchased on those terms. Before I called the main office back to complain, I investigated and on their website, the ONLY mentions of fees are for 1) service area 2) extra stops and 3) outside of the 8am-​8pm window. (my pickup was for 11:30am). SO when I spoke to the main office, he continued to tell me about the fuel fee. When I told him that it was not mentioned ANYWHERE, he said «its still a good deal and if you want return it». I started to tell him that its not good business practice to not disclose fees before someone buys something. He also told me that if I had called before purchasing the deal, he would have told me. And he HUNG UP on me. Completely unprofessional. I called dealfind and requested a refund on my deal. I will never ever use this company.

Wow, I should have read Unilocal before purchasing. What a disaster. I don’t think there is ANY legitimate business on Unilocal with one star over multiple ratings. Such is deserved here though.
Like everyone else, I purchased the BuyWithMe deal from December. I called up near the end of January and asked to setup a ride to the airport. I get told that they «weren’t redeeming vouchers ‘yet’» (even though the voucher says «Cannot be redeemed before Friday, December 23, 2011» right on it and it’s a full month later), and of course offers to do a «cash» pickup. Sensing shady behavior afoot, I decline, and find other transportation.
Fast forward to a minute ago. I’m coming back from Turkey on business tomorrow, with nothing set in stone until recently. I call up to setup a ride for tomorrow, he says «can’t do it with the voucher, would you like to do a ‘cash’ pickup instead?» Again with this shit? I say to him «why not?» he says «go read the voucher, those are the rules.» in fairness, it does say that on the voucher, but I believe it deserves more of an explanation — clearly they aren’t booked up since they are offering all these «cash» pickups. When I press him for one, he says «those are just the rules, okay??? If you don’t like it, call up and get a refund!!!» and begins to raise his voice at me. Immediately sensing a lack of professionalism (in addition to the shady behavior of trying to get a «cash pickup» every time I call to redeem a voucher), I ask him for his name. His response? He hangs up the phone. Nice. I call back and I get the company voicemail.
BuyWithMe (or GiltCity, or whatever you call yourselves), be prepared — you are in for a lot of refunding here.
QuickLivery (or whatever you’ll be called next month when this PR nightmare comes to a head and you have to change your name and offer new «specials» just to stay in business for a few more months), it was a pleasure doing business with you. Best of luck.

I used my first voucher, purchased through
, for one way ride from West Roxbury to Logan airport this am. When I made reservation, it was made clear that driver expected 20% tip, based on actual ride to Logan. Fine, that I get. When driver arrived he acted like he had never seen coupon like this. Value of coupon was 105 $, so 20 $ tip was called for. When handed voucher and 20 $, he stated he usually gets 60 $ tip and «you are riding in a 56,000 $ car». Who cares what your car costs! Once he made it to airport, he expected to be re imbursed for return tolls. That should have been factored into the beginning costs. How do companies, such as this, stay in business. Quick livery deserves look into by Better Business Bureau. Next time I’ll take a taxi

I would give zero stars if I could. I bought vouchers from BuyWithMe (now GiltCity Boston if you did the same and are seeking a refund). I made the reservation, received a confirmation and flew from Chicago home to Boston, expecting to be met by a car upon landing at 9:30 p.m. My flight was delayed for two hours, and landed at 11:20. Upon landing, I had a voicemail from the driver essentially yelling at me because I wasn’t at Logan on time. What kind of livery service doesn’t check its clients’ flight information?
I called the driver and told him we’d landed and that I needed to collect my luggage and would likely be ready in 20 minutes or so. He was incredibly rude, yelled at me for being late (literally — he YELLED at me!!) but did ultimately say he would be there. So I collected my luggage. No driver. I called and got voicemail. I left a message. I called again and got voicemail again. I left another message. I played this game three times (three strikes, you’re out), at which point I left a detailed message for the driver letting him know I was taking a cab and would be filing a complaint with his company, the BBB and BuyWithMe. I did all of those things and received a refund from BuyWithMe.
In short? There’s a reason why this company continues to show up on the deal sites. It’s because they can’t get business any other way. The word is out. They’re horrific. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use them.

As every other (real) reviewer on here has said, ZERO stars.
I usually only review restaurants on Unilocal,but I noticed that there are so many reviews that are being filtered because people are creating Unilocal accounts just to post 0-​star reviews of this «business». And damn right they should.
This «business» is atrocious. The driver’s personal car. With a sound system that physically takes up half the trunk. How the f*** do you expect to shuttle people to and from airports with no trunk space? And texting while driving. Don’t think I can’t see you ducking your head down into your lap for split seconds. That’s illegal.
This «business» is the epitome of unprofessional. We used a deal. Not worth a cent.

Zero stars would be much more appropriate for this sad excuse for a business.
Reservations for a driver were made almost a month in advance to take me and my family to South Station from the North Shore. The driver called and confirmed last night for an 8:15 am pickup time. 8:20 we called the driver. 8:30 we called the company. 8:45 we were forced to load up our personal car and drive in– never received a call back from the driver or company. This is inexcusable for a company whose job it is to drive you somewhere. Epic fail!
