Scott with Trees for Life was great. He was at my home within a day to examine my trees. I received a clear, itemized, proposal later that day. Once the go-​ahead was given they were at my home in a convenient time. The work was as promised, They cleaned up all debris. It could not have been a better experience. Thank you.

They cleaned up a number of large and small fruit trees for us. They are courteous, responsive and easy to work with. The crew did a good job cleaning the leftover debris and our yard was left clean.

I’ve used Trees For Life for over a decade now, for large jobs like the on-​going, occasional care of a stand of large Big Leaf maple, to periodic pruning of other mid-​size trees, and small jobs, like large hedge trimming. I am very pleased with their professionalism, their arborist’s advice, their crew’s training, and the work they do. I recommend Trees For Life without reservation.

Recently Trees for Life did work on my trees — trimming both my 30 foot japanese maple and a douglas fir tree. I has very satisfied with their knowledge of tree maintenance and health and they were very friendly in teaching my about the tree and what they suggest work be done to help maintain the tree’s ascetics and make it more safe during a storm. This information was different then an estimate I got a from a different company a year prior, clearly the staff at Trees for Life were experts. It made me realize the importance of getting multiple estimates when having work done. I felt very comfortable in their knowledge of trees and very importantly their focus on what was would be healthy for the tree. The crew was very professional and pleasant to work with. During their work I had to leave my house a few times and the crew clearly communicated when all is clear and I can walk under them/​tree to leave with my daughter. I very much appreciated their focus on safety. Lastly, the crew also had me review the work while they were still there and in working mode. They were happy to do a little more thinning on one sections of the maple tree when I asked if more could be taken out. In the end very satisfied and will definitely use them again.

We recently moved onto a property that’s a bit over an acre and covered in giant, wonderful Douglas Firs. During escrow, our realtor had a company out to assess what needed to be done to/​for these trees, and their estimate was many thousands of dollars. We decided to wait until we closed escrow and then get a second opinion. I’m glad I did!
I had Scott Selby come out and he was fantastic. He is extremely knowledgeable, very helpful in explaining what’s going on with the trees, what to look for, when to be concerned, etc. And at no time did Scott try to «upsell» me into doing unnecessary work (like the other company did). We ended up hiring Trees for Life to come and do some limbing and dead-​wood removal on several trees closest to the home.
The crew that arrived was equally fantastic. Professional, friendly — people you’re happy to have in your space. Their work was perfect and they left the place looking great.
We are 100% satisfied and will definitely be using Trees for Life for all our arborist needs while we live here.

I was definitely very satisfied with my whole experience! The first nice thing was that there is a person at the office who answers the phone (no wait for call-​backs), was professional, could set the appointment, and remained very accessible and responsive to any communications.
When Scott Selby came to assess our situation, I was extremely impressed by his professional attitude, expertise, careful questions about what I wanted to achieve, careful really listening to my answers, the time he spent and the information he imparted (plus his love and care for trees and plants shines through!)
Starting with the crew arriving at the time promised, the work and clean up was done efficiently and with much care. We had another walk-​around prior to their starting to be sure we were all in agreement about what was to be done and how and a walk around after clean up to confirm everything agreed upon had been done and I was satisfied. Everyone on the crew was informative, open to questions, and very pleasant to have around.
Everyone I interacted with was not only professional, knowledgeable, expert, proficient and accessible but also nice people to work with who care about what they are doing and cared about OUR trees! I would highly recommend Trees for Life!
