I bought a pair of beautiful prescription glasses this winter at Tom’s and had the exact experience I was hoping for. Staff, including Tom himself, were very friendly, professional, attentive but not overly attentive, gave honest feedback on look and fit of glasses. I have a very narrow face and have never ever found a pair of glasses that fit my face, or that I like, and finally, after two decades of wearing glasses, I have a pair that I love and wear a lot! I was so satisfied that I went back for a pair of sunglasses that I am now equally in love with. The products are very high quality, practical and fashionable, a range of brands, and a very good price point. I highly recommend Tom’s-it was the best experience I have ever had looking for glasses, and I went all over town before coming to Tom’s!

I’m a huge fan. Have been in and out of the store numerous times over the years and have always encountered helpful and knowledgeable staff and a wide variety of glasses and sunglasses, I always leave knowing I will not ever need another eyewear shop.

Small independent that knows his stuff. I’ve been in several times for various fixes and alway met with a smile by knowledgable staff. They always have what I’m looking for and repairs are very reasonable. I have never bought glasses from them but when I need my next pair I will for sure.

I have been buying glasses in Boulder for 40 years and over the years have visited numerous shops, several having retired and closed shop. I feel Tom is the most skilled I have found at fitting glasses to lens, with the nicest grinding and polishing for my –10 diopter lens to look decent in wire rim frames. And sometimes I think adjusting a pair of glasses is more art than science, he has the art part down pat. He’s always has been good about adjustments, new nose pieces for older frames, an earpiece re-​solder, and any other needs I have had. A local business with local excellent service from experienced people.

Plus if anything ever happens to your eyewear, Tom’s will stand by their product no questions, no hassles. They will fix em and clean em or get them fixed!

All I can say is Tom’s is awesome. I had pair of glasses with a missing screw. Brought them into Tom’s. Woman working took them put in new screw, tightened them, cleaned them then refused to accept any payment. She was genuinely happy that all was good with my glasses.
Once again reminding good people and good businesses still exist.

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable employees. I haven’t had eye exams there, but I have gone there to get new glasses, and I’ve always gotten great service.
The frames they carry are in a more reasonable price range than some of the places in downtown Boulder (they do have some high-​end stuff too).
