I moved from Bronx NY to the state of Washington and had a 3 man crew help out with my move. They were professional, funny and reliable. I felt confident that my furniture would make it intact and it did. It arrive about 2 weeks later; which is expected given the distance– and everything was the same as when it left the Bronx. Very happy with the service. Would definitely use them again.

These guys are great. Ask for Eli’s team, which I used based on a friend’s recommendation. They were super friendly, professional, clean and paid attention to all the details. Not even my Ikea bookcases got a dent. I was super happy with their service. When in the new place they even made the bed. Would use them anytime. Ps. Domestically I moved five times, internationally three and used several other services and besides the Korean guys who packed/​unpacked my stuff in Seoul, which is still at the top of my list, they come a second.

These guys were great. We moved from Manhattan to Hoboken and it went very smooth. They were friendly and very fast. They wrapped everything up properly and nothing was damaged. Would definitely recommend them or use them for my next move.

The movers were on time and professional. They didn’t take a break for four hours, wrapped everything that needed to be protected. Ask for Herb. He’s very easy to work with and assisted me by providing a certificate of insurance on very short notice. I’d recommend the company to others.

–Arrived on time.
–Worked quickly and carefully.
–Dealt very well with small adversities like finding parking, a longer than expected haul from building to truck, rain storm.
–Moved things into new apartment in a reasonably thoughtful way, putting things in a helpful arrangement, placing wardrobe items into new closet, taking outdoor stuff outside, and setting up TV and furniture.
–They’ll provide a binding price estimate so that you are locked in.
Scott and team are thoughtful guys and could not have done much better.
Ohad is easy to work with as a coordinator/​estimator.

Great service! No complaints! The staff are highly professional — they will arrive with all of the tools/​supplies they need and will meticulously wrap all of your furniture and belongings. A great choice for a mover. Just do a quick price comparison with other comparable companies to see if you can get a lower quote in your area.

We really had a good experience today with Velocity! I used Velocity to relocate my mom’s furniture from the house she’s lived in for 56 years to an independent living apartment building. Fragile artwork, lamps, and antiques, fine old dark wood furniture all arrived without a scratch. The three movers were great, especially Eli, who handled the paperwork, and was very attentive and pleasant. The move was smooth and professional starting with the first phone call. The rate was reasonable and when I mentioned a coupon from Unilocal,they gave me 20 free boxes and a couple of rolls of tape. They even dropped the boxes off at my door, since they were in my neighborhood anyway. They were careful and really paid attention to I would definitely recommend them.

If my experience with Velocity is any indication of how the rest of my NJ experience, well, then I made a great choice! Quick, hard-​working and reasonably priced, I am so happy with how it worked out!
Stacy has been working with me since I have been planning this move in February. He has been extremely patient: I changed my move date three times and initially wanted to take a lot more items, but as I cleaned up, my inventory got a lot smaller. The final phone estimate, in person estimate and the total costs were all within the same range. Furthermore, he actually had some positive things to say about a competing company, but it was exactly that level of self confident professionalism which made me decide to go with Velocity.
Like the other Unilocalers have said, these guys are experts. Thanks to Scott, Derek and Gabi, everything arrived in perfect shape. I overheard the team when they were loading the truck, discussing how «worried» they were about the position of something and took the time to find the safest place for my standing mirror. Mirror mission accomplished! Spinet piano? No problem. Glassware? Nothing broken. They even taped and packed some loose items on moving day.
I cannot say enough good things about this company. I hope others give them the consideration that they deserve. I highly recommend them.

This is my 2nd time using Velocity Moving within less than 3 years, and I strongly and warmly recommend them.
On my first move I relocated from New York to North Carolina.
They sent an estimator over to survey the apartment, and made a move plan to accommodate needs, that included a full packing service and a specific pick up and delivery schedule.
The service was extremely professional and punctual, the team which was lead by Eli was very customer oriented, polite and efficient, like I have never experienced with movers before.
When it was time to move again, I knew i’m definitely going to use them again without hesitations.
On both both moves I received a Binding price from Oliver.
The price covered the entire cost of the move including packing, loading, unloading, assembly of furniture etc.
The price I was given was honored to the cent.
The movers Eli, Derek and Lawal, were very professional.
They packed up my entire house in one day, and came back on the 2nd day to load it onto the truck.
They worked very hard, yet were very careful handling the furniture that required dis– assembling.
I scheduled the delivery for 3 days later, and the trucks were right on time.
Everything was unloaded into the new house very quickly and all the furniture were re-​assembled back again.
I will absolutely continue to use them if I ever need to move again and of course recommended them to my friends and to anyone who needs a moving company which can be trusted with your property!

I hired Velocity to help me with my small move. I only had less than 20 boxes and no furniture, and Velocity had the most reasonable prices. I spoke to Sharon on the phone and she was courteous and very helpful, and also offered to send me 20 boxes for $ 10.
On the day of the move, Eli (the head mover) called me to tell me he had already arrived at 11am, but I was informed that they would only come at 12pm so I was still in the midst of packing. He patiently waited and later came up at 12 to help me finish sealing the boxes. The group of 3 movers were extremely efficient and cleared the apartment in less than 10 minutes. None of my items were damaged in the move. I’ll definitely be using Velocity when I move again.

I recently hired Velocity to assist me with my move from the West Village to the Upper East Side. I am extremely happy with my choice for two main reasons:
1: the price was very fair and actually better than competitors
2: the movers were very professional, hard working and friendly.
The movers showed up on time and packed up my apartment very quickly. Even though they packed quickly, they were very diligent and carefully wrapped all items. Importantly, no items were scratched or damaged during my move.
When the movers arrived at my new apartment, there was no parking in front of my building, so they had to park down the street. They proceeded in a professional manner without complaining or charging extra for this additional distance. To expedite the process, they even called for additional movers to assist them at no additional charge to me.
Elli ran the moving process. he was professional and easy to work with. I would recommend asking for him when working this company.
