I had a good experience with Annie. My boyfriend and I did not want to pay a broker fee when we were looking for apartments, but Annie was showing a place that was so cute that we couldn’t help but look. We loved the apartment, and Annie was super helpful without ever being pushy or salesman-​y. We left to think about it and decided a few hours later that we needed to see it again — Annie met us there (after already having left herself), introduced us to the landlord, took time to answer our huge list of questions, and agreed to meet us again the next morning for our final decision. We decided to go for it because even though it had a broker fee, it was reasonable compared to other brokers (1 month rent vs 15% of the yearly rent) and the place was too great to pass up. Annie also assisted us after the lease was signed, to resolve a misunderstanding with the landlord about painting the apartment (Annie had assured us that the apartment would be painted white before moving in, and the landlord thought that we would be keeping the dark grey color from the previous tenants).

My boyfriend and I spent a lot of time searching for an apartment that fit within our budget and we were very disappointed with many of the options we found on our own and through other brokers. When the listing popped up for our current apartment; we were both a little skeptical. We called Annie and she waited to show us the space. She was very patient with our questions and concerns about renting. She talked us through the rental process and introduced us to the landlord.
While the landlord was drawing up the lease, she stayed in communication with us and expedited the process.
The apartment is fantastic, less than our budget cap, and in the neighborhood we wanted to be in. It was well worth it to pay the broker’s fee.
Annie is a great broker with excellent listings. I would recommend her to all of my friends looking for an apartment.

Annie is an incredible real estate broker. My girlfriend and I had been on the search for a 1 bedroom apartment in the Williamsburg area with a budget that I thought would find us something decent. Little did I know that it’s not so easy in this area. We visited many places through brokers, apartment owners, listings online, mostly disappointed with what was out there. Sometimes the ‘brokers’ hadn’t even seen the apartment they were showing us or would put up false pictures or were late or couldn’t find a halfway decent listing within 2 miles of where we wanted to live. Annie was a completely different story. We fell by chance on a listing she had posted, Thank God, on Craigslist. A lot of people recommended to not even bother with a broker and say that it’s never worth it. Let me be the first to tell you that is absolutely not true. The fee we payed Annie for the apartment she found us was beyond worth it. (We still owe her a nice dinner date, which I’ve promised and will definitely go through with.) She was always on time, answered all of my paranoid and crazy questions with care, because I honestly thought her listing was too good to be true, showed us her real estate license upon first meeting her (which she recommended to always ask for as to not be scammed) and really gave us a lot of time to look at the place and ask questions and find out exactly what situation we would have. I can happily say that my girlfriend I, after now having lived in the apartment she found us, are thrilled with our new home. It’s everything Annie told us it would be, and incredibly affordable, both of which is our dream. Thank you Annie!

There’s nothing more nerve-​wracking and stressful than apartment hunting in New York, a process made all the worse by impatient or greedy or straight up rude brokers. Thankfully, there’s no need to lose faith in humanity or give up the search for that perfect apartment, because there’s Annie. I absolutely loved working with Annie. She helped us secure a dream apartment at the last minute, negotiating with the owners on our behalf and going well above and beyond anything I would’ve expected from a broker– she even drove me to the subway after our lease signing! When the process was over and we’d moved in, a large part of me wanted to move again just so I could keep working with Annie. Seriously.
I’m incredibly grateful that I got to work with Annie. Her honesty, professionalism, responsiveness, helpfulness, dedication, ease, and enthusiasm are a huge relief in a city full of angry people who spend the bare minimum amount of time and effort on you just so they can grab your money. With any other broker, our experience (trying to find an apartment one week before the start of the month) would have been hell. With Annie, it was a vacation. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the neighborhood (because she lives there too), very quick to respond to messages, and remarkably good at moving the process forward without being a pushy saleswoman, and– throughout it all– was so warm, friendly, and cheerful, she was more like a best friend than a broker.
Annie is entirely in a field of her own. I can’t express my happiness with her enough without using tons of exclamation points and overly-​excited all-​caps, but I’ll throw this out there instead: Annie is, quite simply, the best in the business.

Annie is a professional broker who works for you and knows the neighborhoods she works in. A long story, short (long one below) — I had been apartment searching for months on end in the Williamsburg area (I was looking for a one bedroom to share with my boyfriend on a modest budget). Within 2 weeks of working with Annie as my broker, I had a two bedroom apartment close to the Lorimer stop on the L train, an amazing landlord and a backyard to boot. The entire experience could not have been more professional and stress-​free. I have recommended her to every single one of my friends who are looking for brokers in the area. There is absolutely no reason to run around for months trying to find an apartment when there is a broker out there like Annie.
The longer version: After 2 months of apartment searching in the Greenpoint/​Williamsburg area, I was lucky enough to fall upon Annie’s services in one of her Craig’s list postings. My previous interactions with brokers in this area were far from positive. There were many experiences waiting on corners for late brokers, running through apartments when they had very little knowledge about the property or landlord, and if I was not interested in leasing the apartment — a big good bye forever. As I mentioned before, I set up an appointment with Annie through one of her Craig’s list postings. The apartment was in an amazing location (right off the Lorimer stop on the L train) and right in my budget — which had never happened before! Annie met us right on time in front of the apartment and gave us a tour answering all of our questions. We ended up not taking the apartment, but Annie said she would keep in touch if any other apartments opened up in the neighborhood in our price range. True to her word, a week later Annie contacted us with another amazing apartment. She said she would hold posting it on Craig’s list if we were able to view it that day. We took one look and wanted the place immediately. Once we confirmed we wanted the apartment, Annie set up time for us to meet the landlord, go over the lease and answered any and all questions we had. By the time we had to write the first check, I could not have been more confident about the entire process.
