Great painting job. Anthony is personable and knowledgeable and was very easy to work with.

What to say, Anthony is a gem! I asked for a quote over Unilocal for a 500 sq ft. apartment with high ceilings. He responded within 2 hours. We met the following week and he gave a very reasonable quote (about $ 800 cheeper than another estimate and $ 500 more than a non professional painter).
Once we agreed on the quote, we met the following day to drop off the 50% deposit (he said he would meet wherever was convenient for me, which was a big help). Because we were on a bit of a time crunch, we had to pick paint colors immediately so he could buy the necessary supplies. Tony offered to go to the paint store with me and explained the difference in types of paint and suggested buying sample colors to test on the walls. Overall his advise was helpful and I ended up going with the color he suggested (which turned out great).
Tony and his crew started on time and worked efficiently, so much so that they finished up a few hours early (despite the fact I had thrown in an extra request mid– painting process). Tony kindly said he would include the extra request in the original price. Tony and his team answered my many questions and were alway polite and informative.
Most importantly I am very happy with the final product and definitely will be calling Tony and his crew in the future!

Loved these guys. Anthony showed up quickly after I contacted him and gave a quick estimate. He was in the mid-​range of quotes, but I hired him because he was the most knowledgable on what needed to be done and the most confident that he could do it quickly and well. His team had to paint the walls, ceiling, AND floor in our gallery space. I thought it would take several days but they had it done in one day, between the hours of 9 and 5. They were extremely good at what they do, careful of our belongings, sensitive to fumes and noise, and all-​around fantastic. I would definitely hire them again.

Great experience — everything was exactly as promised, amazing quality, quick but thorough job, Anthony is nice, gives good advice for selecting paint types and shades, extremely reliable, no fuss or gimmicks. Doesn’t get much better than this. Our living room looks SO much better. Thanks again!

I hired Anthony and crew to do some wall repair and painting in my tenant’s apt. Part of the work was to repair and paint the walls around a very high skylight which hadn’t been touched for a while. He came promptly to take a look, gave me an estimate quickly and did the job on time. Everyone was happy, thanks Anthony!

Tony and his crew did a fantastic job repainting my entire 2-​bedroom apartment. They were efficient, trustworthy, and went above and beyond to make sure everything looked right, even when it was slightly more work for them than we had originally discussed. I would go back to him for other jobs in the future!

Anthony and his crew were amazing. The repainted our entire 2 bed/​2 bath. We had a ton of holes in our drywall from hanging/​storage and cable routing. They patched it all as part of the job. And you can’t tell there was ever any holes.
Our place looks brand new now. I can’t recommend him enough.

Anthony is awesome! I hired him to repair water damage in several rooms in my apt & to repair my bathroom ceiling and paint the room. Anthony Tedeschi & crew painted most of my apartment. His team did a great job. When I met with him for an estimate, Anthony was punctual, had a couple of recommendations, and his estimate was reasonable (neither at the top or low end of several estimates I received). Anthony is easy to communicate with, and returns calls quickly.
Work was done over a 4 day period.
The first day of work, the crew spent nearly the entire time prepping the apartment. The floors had just been refinished, so every inch of floor was taped off and covered with plastic. They took the time to do quite a bit of sanding — we had pulled out wires and some old plumbing throughout the apartment which left quite a few rough spots. All of those spots were sanded and prepped. One wall had a 3×4 foot patch where the paint had pulled away from the plaster. The guys took care to sand and patch that as well.
The next two days were full days of painting. One morning I stopped by at 8 am, and a crew member was already at work. The end result is a much cleaner, brighter space.
Even though they weren’t painting my bathrooms and kitchen, the guys took the time to paint those doors as well — both sides– so they would match the doors throughout the apt. That attention to detail is greatly appreciated!
The last day was cleanup, and my only disappointment was that it took longer than expected and that my kitchen sink and countertops look worse for the wear. Even after a thorough cleaning, the sink looks like its been used for a construction site. Since the kitchen will be remodeled shortly, I can live with it.
Overall, a great experience. I’d give Anthony a call again.
ETA: Anthony came over to clean my kitchen. Even though I said he didn’t need to because it will be renovated, he said he didn’t like leaving a job undone. That kind of care makes him great to work with. He scrubbed those countertops thoroughly! He truly wants to do a good job and is proud of his work. A good company to work with. I’d definitely use them for future work.

Anthony did 2 bedrooms for us. One was small with average height ceilings the other had 17 foot walls. He did a great job patching some water damage in both rooms. He was able to recommend A low odor paint for our sons bedroom. The job was done quickly and professionally. Our newborn came a week early and rescheduling was not an issue. I would definitely use Anthony again.

Anthony and his crew are total professionals. They painted an apartment in a building that I own. They did their work well and they did it when they said they would do it. Anthony personally checked in when the job was over to see that I was totally satisfied. I pointed out that I wanted to have an upgrade of a bathroom door and the next day it was done. He is reliable, efficient and does excellent work. He aims to please. What else could a business man want?

I found Anthony off Unilocal reviews and the reviews were right on. We just moved into a new +2 bedroom condo. His quote included getting the paint colors, as well as an accurate timeframe for the job. His crew arrived and left on time each day – 3 day job. Anthony also shares w you his honest opinion about color choices if you ask him – he has a very good eye and this service is for free! Otherwise he will go with your color plans professionally and neatly. They cover everything which could be hassle for certain families, but it’s better than the alternative. They work within specified areas to contain the chaos. He’ll come by and give you an honest reasonable quote and is completely reliable.

Anthony came out right away for an estimate, was the lowest bid, and did a great job. He is personable easy to work with, and his crew was great. We will use him again when we redo our bathroom.

Recently completed the painting of a 2 BR apartment in Brooklyn with Anthony and Brian. I’m certainly impressed with the ease in communicating, quality of work, and competitive rate of their services. Highly recommended.
I initiated contact with a few different painters with stellar Unilocal reviews during the so-​called ‘high season.’ Roughly 2 hours after my phone call with Anthony, he was able to pop by to produce a quote which I got the next morning. He also took the time to thoroughly explain what he was going to do with the apartment, always responded to emails promptly, and was quick in providing the certificate of insurance required by my building.
The days of painting, the guys arrived exactly on time (save for a crazy traffic day). Brian, who laid out most of the groundwork including painting corners and covering the floors and furniture, did a wonderful job overall. He was attentive to little details (like specs of previous paint on the ceiling wall that needs some patching up) and the results are professional-​looking.
Any issues that came up were handled very well: the paint I wanted was more expensive than his original estimates, but Anthony stuck to his original quote. When he brought the wrong color for my bedroom, he was sure to bring the right paint in time for the job to be finished that day. When my bathroom’s original paint still shows through the Benjamin Moore Decorator’s White after two coats, he painted another coat to make sure it turns out white.
All in all, I not only appreciated their transparency, fair quote, and professional results, but also the fact that they genuinely wanted to do a good job. It’s certainly appreciated when you’re moving in to a new place with a million other things to do.
If you, like me, are wondering if a professional painter is worth the $$$ — consider the energy and money you would waste if you do the job yourself and end up with bad, blotchy results. Additionally, unless you are covering most of the walls with print and artwork, it’s important your walls not only be the color you want but looks good in general. It’s an investment you’d be glad you made.
I’m hiring Anthony for a second job to install light fixtures that involve electrical rewiring! Will update y’all!

We called Anthony and asked for a Quote on painting our complete Apartment. He was available within a couple of days to take a look, produced a fair estimate within a day, and two weeks later our home looks brand new. Not only are we very pleased with the Quality of the work. it has been a breeze to communicate with Anthony and he was juggling the work around our schedule.
We are now considering hiring him to do additional work for the whole building.

The apt above us flooded which came through our ceiling so we had to get the ceiling of our living room and dining room repatched.
I got 4 different estimates and Anthony was the most thorough, estimated the shortest time and was cheaper by half compared to all the other estimates.
He also stepped me through the process of what was needed and gave me clear direction on what he needed from me (contacts for insurance, paint colors) and helped me get the info to him. He had great follow up and was easy to talk to from beginning to end.
The day of the work, he came on time and finished early and our ceilings and wall look great and he didn’t leave a mess.
I highly recommend Anthony for his honesty, integrity and quality of his work.

We originally contacted Anthony to paint our apartment. He was very friendly, professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. He also shows up EXACTLY when he says he will!
He was able to give us a very reasonable estimate (both in terms of price and completion time) within a couple hours of looking at our space. He was also willing to break out certain portions of the estimate so that we could decide what we really wanted to do.
The day before he was supposed to start, we asked if he could add a significant piece of work to the job (replacing the molding around the floor). He was totally unfazed, and came by that afternoon to take a look and give us an estimate. The price addition was again very reasonable, and he was able to keep the original time frame for completion.
The apartment looks great, and he even sent some pictures when he was finished (he knew we were staying with relative out of state until the work was complete).

Anthony came in to do an estimate, was open to negotiation, gave us a great deal, and then started work almost immediately. He was great at managing expectations – telling us 7 days, when it actually only took 5. The paint job was great — not perrrrfect, but pretty damn amazing, especially for the price and the time it took them to complete the job.
For me, what makes Anthony TRULY outstanding is his demeanor. We have a 1400 sq foot condo full of big, awkward, difficult-​to-​move furniture (why do we have a Ms. Pacman machine – this is a question for my fiancée). He never complained, never heaved a sigh of annoyance. He quickly and pleasantly prepared our apartment for painting, putting down plastic over all of the floors so that they wouldn’t get any paint on them, clearing rooms with ease, AND putting back everything exactly where he found it. When have you ever had a contractor ask you if they can borrow your vacuum, just so they can clean up after themselves?
Lastly, he’s just adorable. When you’re spending 8 hours a day with someone for 5 days, when a stranger is occupying your space, you want to know that you trust that person and that they’re cool to have around. Anthony smiles, laughs, makes conversation, and plays alternative music from the 1990s. What’s not to like?
