Established in 2010.

M&D Locks and Keys is a family owned business. The owners immigrated to this country in pursuit of the American dream and found it in New York City as a local Brooklyn locksmith. Since its establishment, M&D Locks and Keys has grown to two locations to better serve New Yorkers, but what makes M&D so effective are its mobile units.

Each van is equipped with all the tools and high tech equipment to make keys and locks on location so there is no need to go back to the shop. Such advanced technology allows M&D to have mobile offices throughout New York’s five boroughs as well as Long Island and New Jersey so whenever a customer calls for emergency locksmith services, chances are there is a mobile unit right around the corner.

Our reputation has grown so strong that the NYPD, New York Sheriff’s Department and the FDNY all use M&D Locks and Keys as do major corporations such as Geico Insurance, Ted Baker Manhattan, Armani and the New York State Employees Retirement System.

Having immigrated to this country in pursuit of the American dream, JB’s family found it in New York City and opened their first shop in Brooklyn providing home security cameras and locksmith services to the local community. Their family owned business became M&D Locks and Keys and they quickly developed a reputation for speed, reliability and integrity.

«We’re from New York and understand what New Yorkers need from a locksmith,» says JB. «They want someone local who knows the area, not a call center who is going to send their emergency lockout request to the highest bidder.
