I am very pleased with the blackout roller shade that I purchased from David for my skylight. Once David understood what my concerns he was able to zero in on exactly what I needed to keep the full moons from waking me up all night! David was very professional as was his installer Ty. They were very courteous and did not mind wearing the booties that I asked them both to do. The company that supplied the shade sent the wrong size, but David made sure that they remade it in a timely fashion and made sure that the minute it arrived his installer was there to hang it. Overall, it was a good experience and I really love this remote operated shade, it’s awesome!

We are very pleased with our roller shades for our enclosed patio room and our kitchen and bathroom. David personally installed our shades to expedite the completion. The shades were delivered quickly and David did a very professional job with the installation, customizing, & modification of the shades. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and personable. His advice and expertise made our decision process much easier.
Although the price for the shades was higher than we had hoped, the quality and aesthetics exceeded our expectations. David was honest, considerate, generous with his time, and an expert craftsman. We would definitely do business with David in the future. We highly recommend L.A. Window Couture and David Karp.

I was referred to LA Window Couture after moving to DTLA. David came over and explained the options to me with numerous samples, and he was able to give a quote on the spot.
The installers did a great job and the final look of the shades was better than I expected. I needed some adjustments a few weeks later, and David was extremely responsive and was able to take care of it immediately. Overall they did a great job, and I’m happy the shades came out better than I expected.

We were referred to LA Window Couture by a trusted friend. Still out of sheer prudence we followed our protocol of getting three estimates. Although they were not the cheapest of the three and thankfully so… we were so impressed by David Karp that we decided to do business with them.
David came over and so thoughtfully and conscientiously explained everything the to us. His samples were well presented and stylish. Once we did the deal, our shades arrived to the house within a few days. His installer, Ashley was courteous, clean, and professional. We are happy to say that they look amazing and exceeded our expectations.
As it is only to their credit, I will mention that a few days after installation, a small cosmetic piece fell from the fascia. No big deal. We called David and within 48 hours, he was back to personally reattach the the piece. So, thumbs up on service after the sale. We do highly recommend LA Couture and would, should the need arise, look forward to doing business with them again.

David is an incredible find. He possess everything one wants and needs from a vendor: returns calls immediately, spends time to help you make the right choice in product, does a great job the first time around, is cool, calm and relaxed, and tops it all off with the best prices in town. He also makes any adjustments to your order when needed. He’s easy to work with, friendly, and doesn’t try to convince you about anything except wanting you to be ultimately as happy as you can be. I started with one window in mind and ended up having him do eight of my windows, two of them being super large (one being 10′ X 7″ french door and satellite opening). I also had a motorized window covering installed that is super quiet and super easy on one of my super large coverings (french and satellite doors).
After interviewing 4 window covering companies I knew intuitively that David/window couture was for me. This was confirmed after installation was quick, easy, without problems and cost was very competitive with all the others! There is no other company that comes close! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

We have worked with David of L.A. Window Couture over the past few years. He was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He carries a great selection of quality window treatments and is very good at assisting with your design decisions.
Our bedroom window treatments cords were too short and he came back and replaced them right away! The prices were very competitive and they look beautiful.
