The Window Blind Connection began in 1973 with my parents and myself. During the early years of our company we focused on manufacturing window coverings and parts. It was during this time that I began to master the art and science of the window coverings industry.

In 1979 we added what would develop into the main component of our business today– custom designs and manufacturing for retail clients. We offer the full experience for any window covering needs. We specialize in custom blinds, shades, shutters, motorization, and draperies. We still run the business with the same family mentality with which it began. I offer free in-​home consultations to all clients wherein we discuss design aspirations, technical and functional needs, and I assess their project at an individual level. I help my clients discover the perfect solution to all of their unique window covering needs. I bring the showroom to my clients and develop long lasting relationships with everyone.

I handle all of my clients with honesty, care, and integrity. A new client is not a mere transaction, but an extension of our family. You should know, when working with the Window Blind Connection, that you will be cared for and attended to long after your window covering project has come to a beautiful and successful end.

History

Established in 1976.

I got started in the window covering business in 1973 with my family. During the early years of the company, we focused on manufacturing custom window coverings for our commercial accounts. It was during that time that I began to master all the facets of knowing the products, how they were put together, and installing those products efficiently. It earned our company a great reputation in the industry thanks to great teamwork, and caring for our customers.

In 1979, I had a vision of branching out on my own, and started a retail operation called, The Window Blind Connection. Offering the full service experience, we specialize in all types of blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, and motorization. We do all our own measuring, installing and repairs. We even do reupholstering,

bedding and padded headboards. I still run the business with the same family mentality and values instilled in me. We offer free in-​home consultations, bringing the showroom to you.

This is my second time using WBC. The first time was back in 2010 when I had several plantation shutters installed. I was pleased with the service so I called Neil back to help me with some natural woven shades (for 9 windows). While he was here for my estimate, I told him some of the magnets on my shutters have broken (due to sun exposure), and he replaced them on the spot. And when I thought the estimate for my woven shades were too high, Neil returned a second time with an alternate vendor book for me to browse through, and we ultimately found a shade and price point I was happy with. Neil also went above and beyond to get my shades installed in a timely manner after running into some scheduling issues.
I love our new shades, love our old shutters, and am happy with the service that WBC provided.

We had old window blinds that needed to be replaced. I contacted the company and spoke directly to Neil. He was very pleasant and got right on it.
He personally handled the order and the installation. He kept me well informed of the progress, and he made my tenant very happy with the result.

I have blinds that I purchased from Neil at The Window Blind Connection over 10 years ago. Recently the mechanism broke. Since it was under a lifetime warranty by the manufacturer, I contacted Neil to find out how to go about getting them fixed.
Neil drove all the way out to my home to look at the blinds. He contacted the manufacturer to confirm the warranty, and arranged for them to send the parts to a local repair shop. Neil took the blinds to the repair shop and then returned the blinds to me the next week. They now work perfectly. Neil only charged me for a service call. I spent $ 95 total. If I had had to replace the blinds it would have cost closer to $ 1,000.
I am so impressed by the service I received, which is above and beyond what most businesses would provide.

One of the blinds did not function properly. Driving 45 miles, Neil fixed it. Difficult in our today’s world to get a better service, whatever nice marketing ads say. So Neil becomes a 6 stars!

If you need any kind of window treatments, do your self a favor and call The Window Blind Connection first, before you try any other company. Not only will you save time, because there is always a professional available to help, you can save yourself money and a lot of unnecessary stress. I had the pleasure of working with Neil, not only was he an expert in guiding me towards making the best decisions (based on his product knowledge), he was fast, reliable, and so easy to work with. My wife worked with Neil in 2010 to install shutters and blinds in our home. Neil was the only Company that would install shutters in our living room, where other companies said it was not possible. The installation was beautiful. Recently, we needed to reach out to Neil to replace a minor part of the shutters (normal wear) and replace a few blind sections damaged by our dog. By the time Neil received the replacement piece, Neil personally came to our home to reinstall it and took the damaged blinds with him to repair. 3 days later, Neil revisited our home with the repaired blinds and everything looks new again. Neil is very professional, takes pride in his work, and a pleasure to work with. Thank you Neil!

I found Neil from a postcard mailer at my home. The work I needed done was for my office which was like 20 miles away. I called Neil, and he was happy to come out to my office even though it was way out of the way. He came, measured the area where I needed blinds, gave me a very reasonable quote, I gave him a deposit and he started to build the custom blinds. He said it would take 2 weeks to get it done, I got call from him about 5 or 6 days later and it was ready for delivery and installation!

I needed window coverings for 4 bedrooms, and I happened to receive a flyer in the mail for this company. I took a chance and called, and I couldn’t be happier. Neil is reliable, punctual and trustworthy. The shades were ready in 3 – 4 weeks and installed quickly afterwards.
Window treatments can be a pricey investment, so I love that Neil stands behind his work and product. For example, I had a small issue with one of the honeycomb cellular shades. I called Neil and he decided to replace the whole shade based on my description of the problem. He came out as soon as the replacement arrived and installed it himself. That is amazing customer service! I love that I can contact him directly if problems arise, and that he goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy.
I highly recommend the company. There are a lot of window treatment companies, but with Neil, you can trust that he will stand behind his work and make things completely hassle free for the customer.
