Dr. Paul is great. The positivity and smiles in the office are what makes me look forward to my appointments.

Dr. Hodgson correctly diagnosed my son’s neck problem and helped us understand the mechanics behind his dysfunction. We had been to another chiropractor before who never fully explained or corrected the issue. His adjustments are precise and careful. Dr. Paul has really helped me understand my body and what’s really going on with my pain. I came to new wave chiropractic after a car crash. Dr Paul and Dr Gina and the office staff are amazing. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs chiropractor care.

I had a great opportunity to meet Dr. Paul and Dr. Gina in March this year as I was in a miserable shape due to a very bad car accident. I’m so fortunate that I ended up at New Wave Chiropractic Center. When I was in a very bad physical condition due to that accident, I could not even move my neck from left to right. They did a thorough analysis of my body through x-​rays and various sophisticated tools. I was explained in details on how my spine is behaving after that accident and what would be the plan to fix it.
I do want to emphasize that Dr. Paul believes in and teaches a healthy lifestyle that has a long term benefits to ones spine and body. He regularly conducts sessions/​seminars on spine care, eating right to avoid inflammation, body posture, ergonomic recommendations etc. This differentiates them from any other chiropractor.
I have been following his advice and I am definitely seeing positive results in my lifestyle. They do conduct a free assessments on spine and I would recommend anyone and everyone to get that checked with them.

If I could give negative stars I would. We’re new to the area, but found new wave’s supposedly good reviews via Unilocal,it’s very close to my house & they were okay with me bringing my children along to my apt. So, I requested a new pt apt today with Gina since I woke up yesterday morning with an awful neck & needed an adjustment today which I mentioned on the phone.
When I arrived, the elevator didn’t work; I had to carry my disabled daughter up two flights of stairs. Okay that’s probably not their fault but it just adds to my bad experience here and they could have said they’d let the property mgt know.
The nice receptionist checked me in, then Paul came out… ugh wait, I asked for an apt with Gina. Okay. Let it go.
Then Paul proceeded to interview me for about 15 minutes about my ‘spinal history’ while I sat there with two kids, a stiff neck & in obvious discomfort.
By the end of his ‘interview’ he proceeded to tell me that I had been using my previous chiropractor ‘like a pain pill & we don’t do that here’ Ummm what?! Because I go to the chiropractor twice a year, I’m using it like a pain pill (!) ‘I don’t want to waste your time or money, there’s a guy downstairs who might see you’ he proceeds to tell me. …wait what, waste my time, you’ve already done that Paul. And I’m in obvious pain & you’re refusing to adjust me! I’ve never met any health care professional who refused to treat some one in obvious pain & discomfort.
So, add that up and you get one mega negative experience at New Wave. I only recommend against this visiting this office.

Since I found Dr. Hodgson on Unilocal (thank you!) in an emergency situation, I felt I should now put my 2 cents in. Ditto on all the 5 star reviews that led me down this path. Dr. Paul is serious about making his patients well, and does it with patience and skill, sharing his knowledge along the way. He is a holistic healer, but only offers suggestions as a guideline for patients who want to pursue this realm of thinking. Basically, he’s a good doctor because he cares about what he’s doing. I have found him to be ethical, attentive, creative and skillful. Thank goodness he’s young, as I plan to stick with him for a very long time.

I normally see Dr Gina but when she is unavailable I occasionally get adjusted by Dr. Paul. I’m in the third trimester of my pregnancy and just got adjusted by Dr Paul and I feel so much better. I walked in with major hip and lower back pain and now feel amazing. I recommend New Wave Chiropractic to practically everyone I know and whether you see Dr Gina or Dr Paul feel confident that you’re in great hands. I wish I could give 10 stars!

Being a healthy person I had never seen a chiropractor before, Dr. Paul was my first and I plan to use New Wave Chiropractic services for a very long time. I truly felt like I was in the hands of a professional during my stay, Dr. Paul talked to me about my health and gave me great tips on how to take better care of my back and neck. I feel better, healthier, and less stressed since my visit with him.

After having chronic back, neck and hip pain from a car accident in 2001 I finally feel like my body is starting to function the way it was supposed to and I owe it to Dr. Paul and New Wave Chiropractic. The office is inviting and warm and each visit you have some piece of knowledge given to you with the hope that it will improve your overall health and life. I look forward to each appointment because I know that when I get to the office I will be treated by a staff that genuinely cares about my well being and that is so very refreshing when more often than not you feel like just a number in the health care world.

Dr. Paul is very friendly, but unable to help me with my migraines. Actually made them worse so now I have pain in other areas of my head as well, and always my headache was worse when I left. the new pain has not subsided either, and I never had pain in that spot before that adjustment that sent me home with a level 20 migraine. He is probably able to help most problems, but I think migraines are very tricky.

I was very nervousness going to my first chiropractor. I chose dr. Paul because of his stellar reviews on Unilocal.I’m so glad that I decided to make the appointment. Dr. Paul Hodgson was so pleasant, he treated me with great respect and even though I’m a wreck when it comes to my fitness he didn’t make me feel bad about myself. I would recommend Dr. Paul to anyone looking for pain relief. He was able to take me from a 10 on the pain scale to about a 3 in the first session. I will be back, thanks again to him and his staff!

I had many issues with my digestive system in addition to bladder infections and as a result, despite a clean diet and exercise, I couldn’t lose weight. Dr. Paul was the missing link in my health! After going to him just a few times, I could already see a difference. I still see Dr. Paul a couple times a month and couldn’t be happier with having my health in his hands! Now my whole family sees Dr. Paul! Kelsey and Dr Gina are also wonderful too!

After being in a horrific car accident I was recommended to see Dr. Paul after the doctors at the hospital dismissed me after poking at my spine. She wrote it off as whip lash and sent me on my way with a prescription for various heavy pain medications… I’m kind of an organic nut job but I was in so much pain I took them. Only one a day followed by lots of Advil. FINALLY someone recommended I go see Dr. Paul having never been to a chiropractor I was hesitant but I figured what do I have to lose. I’m still in pain and the meds were making it hard to focus as work, my hours had to be cut because I’m a hair stylist and well standing was unbearable at times.
Dr. Paul was so detail oriented and found that I not only had major spinal subluxations I had nerve damage and I still couldn’t turn my head in either direction (mind you it’s 4 days after the accident, but things still weren’t improving) I spent the next 2 – 3 months in his office getting adjusted back into a state very close to my pre accident self. I have seen more improvement in my spine then I imagine possible. I’m going to blatantly honest I saw my X-​rays initially and thought I was looking at a death sentence… I was convinced I would never be able to work as much or as hard as I had prior or get my butt back in a gym. Dr. Paul and his staff were more then friendly, they all treated me like family… hell I felt like family being as I was there more then I was home during the 2 months of fixing my spine. Well here I am working 10 hour days and going into full beast mode for 3 – 4 hours at the gym. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this practice to anyone from simple adjustment to the more traumatic issues such as mine.

Dr. Paul is the first chiropractor I’ve ever been to, but I wouldn’t even consider going to another.
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Dr. Paul has always made me really comfortable. His knowledge is extensive and he’s been able to help in many ways — most notably headaches. Before, headaches were a part of my daily life, and I had severe migraines pretty regularly. Since I started getting adjusted, my headaches are nearly gone. And, knock on wood, I haven’t had a single migraine.
I can’t recommend Dr. Paul enough!

I am only eighteen years old, but I have struggled with aching and piercing lower and upper back pains, intense migraines and headaches (almost daily!), paralyzing ear aches and weird pulsing in ears, general fatigue, pain in arms and hands, trouble sleeping because of back pain, etc., for years. Even stomach aches every single day that I thought were related to stress. But it really increased recently to the point of depression; just feeling so weighed down by all my pain I did not want to wake up in the morning.
I finally took the initiative to seek out a chiropractor. I stumbled upon Dr. Paul’s wonderful reviews on Unilocal and decided to see him… And I am profoundly grateful. I had no idea that all of the problems listed above were related to the sublaxations (misalignment of vertebrae) in my spine.
At first, he really took the time to go through the x-​rays with me and show me what was wrong. He really wanted me to understand the problems and what he was going to do in order to not just relieve my symptoms, but heal my spine, the center of my body and nervous system. He has a vision for health and makes sure his patients are on board. It makes you feel cared for, hopeful, and confident in your healing process.
Then began the adjustments. Just a few minutes a few times a week. He is gentle when he needs to be and more firm when he needs to be. And in only a week, my ear and head pain had already disappeared, and the stupefying lower back pain that was restraining me from sleep had also evaporated. My stomach aches are gone. But more than that, I know that the curves in my spine that affect my central nervous system are being straightened out, so that I can lead a healthier life long-​term, more aligned with the health we are designed to have.
And you will learn a lot of vital information about the good, healthy life by talking to him. Seriously go see him! He wants his patients to be happy and healthy and he will take care of you!
