The windows are not complete yet, still missing screen door (wrong size) and lock for other screen door.

I am very happy with my windows and the installation went very smooth. Would have given them 5 stars but the sales process needs improvement. I had to contact my sales guy multiple times to get my contract paperwork. It took more than a week to get me signed docs and another month to set the install appointment date.

Be ready to have a lot of patience. I had 27 windows replaced. The company tries hard but it seems like the employees do not go beyond their specific task. So you end up encountering several people to get answers and the job done correctly. I can name 9 employees. I also made 9 trips to my house dating back to January until the final result late May.
Key Tip — Do not sign a contract until you have looked everywhere for rebates and similar. I received a $ 25 off per window rebate in the mail 10 days after I signed the contract. The windows were not even manufactured yet and Newman denied the rebate ($ 675.00), not exactly a small amount money.
The product is what you pay for.

I have replaced all my windows and sliding doors with them. A total of 6 windows and 3 big sliding doors. We could not be happier! Awesome Sales person Russell, Office Lady, Stucco Manager Randy, Replacement Team: Mike, Shawn, Tony, etc…
I have spent good money on this (cash) but my house is 100 times better than before and they have made the experience very easy for me and my family!
I’m done with the windows, but if I ever need more windows for another house I won’t hesitate to call this Company Again.
It’s easy to write bad reviews… I have good things to say because I’m a happy Customer and I want you guys to know. Can’t go wrong with them.

Since I made the initial phone call to Newman’s — Everyone has been the best! Polite, professional and very knowledgable and accommodating!
We had 3 bids total… and honestly, Gene, from Newman Window’s was the only nice, honest, sincere, to the point, and genuine person to provide us with a quote… a decent reasonable do-​able quote… not something freaked crazy like Renewal Windows that quoted us at $ 22,000!!! F$#%ken crazy! Anyways. NEWMAN Replacement Windows Rocks!!!
It was easy obtaining an appt for a quote. Gene was in and out in about an hour… no bull– shit let me pressure you type of salesman… No, he asked why we wanted to replace the windows and what we were looking for… it was a very easy process… he measured and then provided us with a quote via email. with details, model inform, warranty etc… we put 10% down, signed the contract agreement and and less than a month from when we put the deposit down we have new wonderful beautiful windows! I didn’t know how much I Was going to LOVE THEM! Our house is so quiet now and the windows are so easy to open!
Auggie and his partner, the ones who installed the windows were sooo amazing! in and out in a day, super clean, organized, friendly and efficient. They left our house cleaner than it was when they arrived. They were conscientious about our furniture, carpets, walls… no scratches, stains or dirt left behind. They were amazing! Highly professional but also really down to earth guys!!!

We recently moved into our home in Encinitas. One day while washing the existing single pane windows, a window broke, then another. It was obvious that we needed to get new windows before someone got hurt. We looked around and talked to neighbors and friends to get some advice. One company kept coming up — Newman Replacement Windows. We met with their salesman, Bob Ryan, and signed the deal. We expected a 4 – 6 weeks wait for the Milgard windows. They were here in 3 weeks. The 3 man crew arrived on time, covered furniture, cleaned up after themselves, and it took only one day to install them all. We love them. Immediately, our home was warmer during the cold months.
My only regret is that we decided not to replace one window that was high up and didn’t seem to matter and the french doors. We found out that the window really did matter. Now when the sun streams in on hot afternoons, you can feel the heat through that single-​pane window. The new windows are noticeably cooler.

We live above a very busy road in La Jolla. We love our new windows as we noticed a remarkable reduction of noise from the busy street.
The installers arrived on time and measured each window to make sure they were the right size for the windows that were ordered. Our wood floors were covered to protect them and the workers were especially careful when installing the new windows. They cleaned up the area and made sure all stickers were off the windows. The windows were cleaned and look fantastic. They showed us how to care for and operate the windows and screens. I would highly recommend Newman windows.

Like C M. review on 1÷19÷16 had Russell assigned as my rep and was not impressed. Appointment was on April 2^nd and I’m still waiting for the quote today April 11^th. This is after multiple calls to the Yarrow Drive office and voicemail’s on Russell’s cell phone. What takes that long to put a simple quote together? At least have the common courtesy to tell me you won’t be putting a bid on the work because you don’t need business.

worthless would be the word I would use to describe our encounter with these vermin. We still wait for them to complete our job after 2 months. I would never recommend these guys to anyone. They don’t complete their work and they blame others for their responsibilities.

Casey and his crew were very quick and effecient at installing our windows. They made our house look brand new! I highly recommend Newman windows for new windows!

I had this company do new installation windows at my last house (I had another company do the stucco work) and they did such a good job I brought them in to do retrofit windows when I bought a bigger home a couple years later.
They were always on time, always cleaned up, always notified me in advance about any changes in schedule and specifically asked for questions and concerns a couple days afterwards.

Newman Replacement Windows provides excellent service. I had a repair issue with an old Milgard Window. Newman was one of the certified window companies recommended by Milgard in the San Diego area. Although my issue was small compared to most window jobs, the folks at Newman Replacement Windows took the extra step to make me feel like I was a big client. I happened to be helped by the owner Duncan Newman and he was kind, helpful and took my problem and assured me it would be handled properly. The staff I dealt with, Katy and Kevin were professional, courteous and extremely competent. The cost was reasonable and the service was priceless. I highly recommend Newman Replacement Windows.

My nephew and I recently bought a 15 year old home in an upscale development. The previous owner had installed tinted film on the double pane windows which heated the widows and caused the seals to fail. We had Newman replace all windows w low e double pane glass. The widows look terrific. Newman did a perfect job. The price was reasonable. I am 100% satisfied. I am having Newman replace some windows in my home, now. I noticed that some reviewers complain about how long it took to get estimates. In my experience, people who are very good at what they do are always busy. I like that. Jim g

We’ve been using Milgard windows for many years and just had occasion to replace another non-​Milgard with one of their products. Our installer was Newman Windows & Doors in Carlsbad, CA and they did a wonderful job. However, there was a missing balancer for one of the windows that needed to be installed and, originally, when Milgard called to let me know when it would be installed, I was told 4 – 6 weeks! Needless to say, I was not a happy camper and expressed my displeasure. After getting Newman Windows & Doors involved to help correct the problem, things changed for the better. I received a call yesterday from Randy (scheduler) at Newman informing me that a Milgard tech would be at my home the next day and, sure enough, Mike Mills (the Milgard rep) showed up exactly when he said he’d be at my home and installed the missing piece quickly and perfectly. I couldn’t ask for better service. We’ll surely continue with Newman Windows & Doors for future installations of our windows and doors. I highly recommend them, as well as Milgard windows.

I’ve tried twice to get an estimate to replace 1 window in a home with no response. Both times I’ve talked to someone at their Carlsbad office and told to submit my measurements via email and still no response, if they weren’t so highly recommended from a friend, I wouldn’t have even tried beyond once. Maybe they figure the job is too small and why bother, I’d stay away unless you’re doing a big job then maybe they would care.

I just had 8 windows and one sliding glass door replaced yesterday and am so very happy with how it went and how it really spruced up my house. Steve and Sean were on time and very professional and efficient. A second crew (I’m sorry I don’t remember their names) showed up later in the afternoon to install the sliding glass door. They were very careful to make sure to close the front door and the side gate so our 2 dogs couldn’t escape. I was referred to them by a co-​worker and have already recommended Newman to another co-​worker. Nice job!

Ok, so I want to start with the positive things.
My windows are awesome! The two guys who showed up were Evan and Russ and they were amazing. Totally professional, on-​time (even a couple minutes early), worked VERY hard, cleaned everything up afterwards and did a wonderful job with the install. They were seriously great.
The next positive thing was the price. They were very competitively priced and I have to say that this was the main reason I ended up going with them.
Now, the negatives. Getting an estimate took almost 2 MONTHS. Not that they didn’t come out quickly, but the estimator was, well, I don’t know. He just couldn’t seem to get it done. They came out quickly to look at the job but then nothing for a very long time. We called repeatedly and finally did get the estimate.
It just seems that to have great installers, great prices but a lousy turn around time for the estimates is shooting yourself in the foot.
We spoke to the owners who were great, but I don’t know how much help it was getting the estimate any faster.
I did call the Assistant Installation Manager the next day to say I really love the windows but also to say that the installers did a great job and I was very grateful to have my nice new windows in my house finally. I haven’t heard back yet.
So either they have so much business that they simply cannot keep up with the amount of calls they get (if so they might want to hire more people) or they just aren’t a «customer service» company that cares about that side of the business. Perhaps it was the fact that I only had 4 windows installed and wasn’t a huge money maker for them? Which I understand to a degree. However, I am a Real Estate Agent and am ALWAYS referring clients to companies and although I have no problem referring them to my client’s, it will come with a caveat that they are slow to respond, slow to get estimates but has amazing installers and great prices.
I would still highly recommend them if you are considering installing windows. They certainly would have gotten 5 stars if they just polished up some of their customer service skills.

My first time every buying new windows. Everyone involved: Professional, honest, willing to work w/​you, great quality of work; and much more. I give this company two thumbs up. I had 10 windows and 3 sliding glass doors installed as promised, as indicated on the contract and was billed after the installation was completed with no problems. Everything was great, they caused me absolutely no concerns, stress, or worries.
The installers deserve a lot of recognition and praise. They were very much on time, professional and fast throughout the entire job, and worked their arse off in two days to get it done as promised. I was amazed at what these men did in TWO DAYS! They do not mess around.
When I got home from work, I couldn’t tell anyone had been working on my home. The crew did such an awesome job by cleaning up, placed tarps everywhere to protect the floors, made sure the windows were spotless before they left; etc. I was so impressed that I had to text the sales rep to let him know how happy I was w/​a job well done. I am very happy with the outcome of the whole experience.
One sliding glass door screen was the wrong size, but everyone involved made sure it was corrected and installed on time and on the date they promised. Sales reps communicated w/​me every step of the way to assure me that my business and time is valuable and they are on top of it. Many business’ don’t even bother to do this :(
This co. works with Milgard Windows and Milgard was impressive as well. The delivery of the windows and installation as promised was on the money. I cannot say anything bad or wrong that went on w/​doing business w/​Newman Replacment Windows including Milgard. I HIGHLY recommend them! They should be voted best business in SD county. Congrats on making a difference!
