Excellent Job by Brian. We had a great time. Our first time. Brian spent time explaining the brewing process and socializing with us as well. Great guy and the breweries were really cool. Love the ride also. Pick up and drop off at our hotel was extremely convenient. Loved the music on the way to breweries to.
Just 2 suggestions. Maybe add a speaker or 2 in the back part of the truck so it’s easier to hear. Also maybe get the rear end fixed on the truck so it’s not so noisy.

We went on a tour with Brian it was great! The company is amazing and the breweries they chose were fantastic! We can’t wait to go back :)

Tons of fun to tour local breweries with your friends, all while in a super fun vehicle. Almost all the other cars on the road wished they were partying with us!

We received 2 Scavengers tours as Christmas presents. After a little consideration our gifters thought the tour sounded so great that they drove down from Sacramento to join us on a North County Beer Tour. Everything about our tour was perfect. Our guide Brian was very knowledgeable about beer and so many of the local craft beers. Brian was also a great host and a conscientious driver. One of our group brews beer and Brian is a brewer so they could also talk shop.
The Brewery selection was great for all four of us. We went to Mason Works/​Urge Restaurant, Bagbee and Stone’s Oceanside Tap Room. There were plenty of tasting selections for all four of our different beer likes. Example: one of our group likes stouts and was able to sample nine different stouts from the 3 breweries. We capped the day with some tasty BBQ from «That Boy Good». It was a relaxing, scenic, palette pleasing adventure.
We know many North County Breweries but on the tour we were introduced to two we knew nothing about and are were both keepers. The tour was a good value and we will do it again.

We had a fantastic time on the Scavengers tour! Our guide (aka. ‘Beer Jesus’) was really knowledgeable, informative and super accommodating! We did not feel rushed at any one location and we felt sufficiently attended to. We loved each of the breweries selected. If you love craft beer and want a fun party experience — this is a great way to go.

You want to take this tour at some point in your lifetime. One of the best drinking experiences I’ve ever had. Tour guide is super friendly and very well informed in the beer making process. Worth the money. You’ll drink & eat your fill.

The hubbs and I have done a tour (his 2^nd, my 3^rd) with Scavengers before and had the best time, so I was curious if they had any availability on Wednesdays, as we were going to be in Carlsbad for a couple days. Called and spoke with Adam who told me they did and we set it up! Adam actually came to our hotel and picked us up because we ended up being the only ones (yay, private tour!) in the Pinzgauer. SUCH a nice, down to earth guy! Had a nice conversation with him during our brewery stops and got to know the history of how SB&AT started. He even stopped and grabbed a couple extra beers for us to drink on our way to the 2^nd brewery and we cruised the shoreline of O’Side on such a gorgeous afternoon! We had That Boy Good BBQ at our final brewery that he picked up for us (at that point, after many beer tastings, I INHALED our delicious BBQ) then called it a night!
Honestly, Adam went above and beyond for my husband and I. He made our quick getaway such a memorable one. I can’t wait to go back and do another tour with the guys over at Scavengers Beer & Adventure Tours! Thanks Adam!

Our company chose Scavengers Beer & Adventure tours for our holiday Christmas party and we were not let down. The beer tour leaders start out by introducing themselves and the history of the vehicles, which are really awesome to look at and a fun experience to ride in. Another plus, they play excellent music during the drive and assisted us in some of our raffle prize games, which was truly appreciated. You won’t feel rushed or pressed on time and I really liked that they allow you to choose the breweries. Even though we went on a Friday night and the breweries we chose had a lot of people the process to get our beer/​food was organized and went very smoothly. I would highly recommend using this company for any large party events; you won’t stop smiling and laughing. Cool vehicles, fun beer leaders, great breweries around amazing people=a great time.

Had Brian as our driver and we had a blast! Great places, great brewery tour, great times! Next time we’re bringing more people with us!!!

Such a great time. We booked the tour for my sister’s 40^th birthday. Joseph picked us up at our hotel and everything was handled from there. Couldn’t have had a more knowledgeable and fun guide. We went to Stone, Ballast Point and Coronado. Phil’s bbq was a great addition to the second stop but i could have eaten like 300 more onion rings. Heavy handed pours all night and high percentage beers so pace yourself and don’t forget to hydrate. Thanks for making my sisters night a fun and memorable one.

Went out last night for a friends birthday. The tour was awesome, our driver, Adam I believe, was great! The Pinzgauer was an awesome vehicle for a beer tour… Highly recommended!

When Joe and the tank arrived it did not disappoint at all. The tank looked exactly like it did on the website. Joe was very knowledgable about the beer, the backgrounds of the breweries and the local area. We had just arrived in San Diego and this was the perfect way to kick off the end of our road trip. We had an amazing time going to Stone, Ballast and The Belching Beaver. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to have a fun time and party !! Driving on the thruways were great! Everyone was waving and you know they wanted to be on our party tank tour!

We had Joe for our tour guide and he was AWESOME!!! this tour is worth every penny, we didn’t even use all of our drink tickets! We went to rip current, Mother Earth, and belching beaver for our buddy’s going away party and had a blast!

Born to be Wiiiillllldddd!!! This Scavengers tour is the best thing that hit North County! Talk about a good time with random people and beer!!!
As we awaited the arrival at the Carlsbad transit center I pondered and thought how was this day really going to go down? A Swiss Army Jeep with up to 12 individuals could get scary lol! But then there is was it pulled right up with music jamming and all of us instantly laughed with excitement with what we were about to venture on!
The tour guy Adam was just awesome! 1^st to cross of the list our beer glass souveniors! He got everyone loaded up, went over the rules and I instantly became the 1^st round DJ for the joyride to our 1^st stop.

Belching Beaver
All of which I never had except the famous peanut butter stout from Belching Beaver. Anyhow Adam gave a behind the scene tour or Rip current. He was very knowledgeable about the company but also beer in general. Thank you Adam for answering all of our random questions!
Each brewery was filled with a great selection of beers. My personal favorite spot was Booze Brothers. While at Booze Brothers we also got to eat our yummy Phil’s Good O BBQ sandwiches and onion rings.
Adam made sure to stop and talk with everyone and stayed professional the whole time. Ever needed a beer from point A to point B? Have no fear Adam had Ballast Point loaded in the truck for beer my dear!
Overall this was a A+++ experience. I would recommend it to anyone whether visiting or a local. And remember those crazy random people I mentioned??? They made the whole experience that much funner! Great group of people I think anyone going on these tours are probably going to be just as awesome as you for trying out the tour!

Found scavengers here on Unilocal and the reviews were spot on. Adam was knowledgeable, professional, and all around awesome guide. We will definitely be back for more tours! The beer was great too.

What a great time! Had a bachelor party brew tour for my buddy. Adam (owner) was very accommodating. Brian our driver was very laid back and tolerated our shenanigans very well! We had a blast and you get a lot for your money in my opinion! Thanx Scavengers, we’ll be back for sure!
