Surf City Segway opened in the Spring 2014 by Troy and Tauna Collins (Father and Daughter). We are the only authorized Segway dealer in Huntington Beach and also service Long Beach. We not only offer tours but we also offer the always popular rentals. This way you can come down with your family and friends and just take a COAST on the easy to ride Segway down the beautiful Southern California Shoreline at your own pace. Make the time to stop along the 11 miles of uninterrupted beach trail for your favorite snack or cold drink, visit the famous Huntington Beach Pier or just relax in the golden sun and people watch. You can rent the Segway from as little as an hour to the full week. Troy, Tauna or a trained staff member will make sure you are comfortable to ride with the 20 minute safety training we will perform prior to taking a COAST. History

Established in 2014.

Troy has a familiar partner his 17 year old daughter, Tauna, a student at Huntington Beach High School, who will learn how to run a business with a hands-​on approach. Tauna says «I can’t wait to work alongside my Dad. I have watched my Dad run his other business over the years and have always been so interested in what he did and how he was able to put it all together. I feel they should offer a course in High School that directly worked with the process of researching, buying and the daily operation of running a business in order to make it succeed. This is real life and what better way to learn the process then from my Dad». We fell in the love with the area after visiting a few years back. We moved here two years ago in the belief that it would be a great environment for a single father to raise his teenage daughter. Troy feels Huntington Beach has the same connection as Santa Cruz, Ca where he was born and raised. Small friendly beach town atmosphere with plenty to do outside.

Business Owner

Tauna is the co-​owner and daughter of owner Troy. Tauna is a junior at Huntington Beach High School. Tauna having that competitive spirit was enrolled in Gymnastics at the age of 4. While rising through the different levels of gymnastics over the years she was invited to compete in a competitive cheer competition at the age of 11 in which she fell in love with and become her full time sport. She just came back from Orlando, FL where her team competed in the World Cheerleading competition. She has traveled across the United States competing. Tauna also cheered for fun with her school cheer teams since middle school. She is now cheering for her Varsity team at Huntington Beach High school and has been a Varsity cheerleader since her freshman year. Tauna is pursuing colleges and would love an opportunity to attend the University of Oregon. She is currently maintaining a 3.7 GPA and is a volunteer for Special Olympics and feeding the homeless campaigns.
